Wednesday, Week 3, January 2010 - I woke up in the morning only to be greeted with a phone call from Carol Jennings from Blue Ridge PBS.

"Hello?"

"Hello Mr. Snider. You had a great first show! We're very glad to be working with you."

"Thank you Mrs. Jennings. Is there something wrong?"

"No, actually, Mr. Snider, but I do have news to share with you. We've decided to sell the actual promotion to someone in the wrestling industry to better serve your needs as booker. We at Blue Ridge PBS will still air your show, but you don't have to talk to us about the actual wrestling."

"Oh, that's interesting. So who's the new owner?"

"The new owner is Chigusa Nagaya, a retired female wrestler from Japan. She was so interested in NRVWA that she invested 50k into the company."

"Well, thanks for letting me know. I'm sure that I'll be getting some communications from her. I'll give you a call when we need to renegotiate our television deal."

"Sounds good, Mr. Snider. Have a good day."

Interesting news indeed. It looks like she would be an ideal road agent.

I wake up and walk to my computer. It seems as though she has sent me an email.

"Dear Mr. Snider, I am the new owner of NRVWA. Since you are head booker, I will now tell you goals. We are ranked 44. We should not fall from that spot."

Easy enough, considering that there are only 44 promotions in the world right now.

"We have F- popularity in America. We should not be less popular."

Again, easy. Hard to get worse than absolutely not popular.

"You cannot hire a wrestler or extend a contract with a wrestler who I've rated below a E+ for Psychology."

This is interesting, as two of my main event stars have below that. We'll have to see what happens in the next 8 months. Hopefully they can figure it out.

"Lastly, you cannot hire a wrestler or extend a contract with a wrestler who I've rated below a E+ for Industry Reputation."

Luckily, I'm the only one under that level, so that shouldn't be a hard goal to make.

Reasonable goals, all. I'm pleased. I sent her an email welcoming her, and notifying her that I'm going to put her in a road agent role. She sends me an email 10 minutes later telling me that it was a good idea.

Here we go.

The next day, I had another email in my inbox from the new owner, Nagaya-san.

"I want to give you another rule. No Psychopaths! We don't need those in NRVWA."

That's fine for me. We currently don't have any, nor do we have any offers out there for any.
