Seattle Sounders FC - Emerald City Full 90'

This is the first time that the Seattle Sounders FC are in the game and they were the darling of the MLS in 2009. I live in Vancouver Washington and work for the the Sounders FC Youth Program (RTC & ODP), so I figured, "What the heck, I will give it a go".
I am going to do away with all of the listing of Club specifics, like history and stadium information, that you so often see in these posts and just link the Clubs Wikipedia and Official pages.

I will play every game, except for the Pre-Season and do a short report of each. I will be playing on a PS3, with 10 minute halfs and at the Professional level. I will try to spice up my posts with some graphics like pictures and the occasional video. I will also be imposing some restrictions on my self. Here are a couple:

1. I will try to stick to the Major League Soccer rules for roster size and make up.

2. Given number one, I will be creating a 'Youth' system. I will add young players, U-23, to the squad. These players will have to be added to the Full 1st team, before they are 24 years of age, or they will be sold.

3. Young players will be sold abroad, Europe.

4. Youth players will come from CONCACAF, with a focus on the USA and excluding Mexico, as they have a well established league with Clubs that players from that country would be discovered by.

Sounders FC have found their manager. After weeks of interviews and narrowing down potential managers, the Sounders FC board representatives have announced the signing of newcomer Troy Maxcy. This is definitely a surprise given the lack of experience Troy Maxcy has.

The new manager was quick to announce that Sounders FC aims to acquire all possible silverware. The manager went on to further state that the board has given their blessing to make whatever changes are necessary to make this happen.

Sponsorship
The Sounders FC Board has agreed for a sponsorship deal with Richelo Booster Juice for this season. The deal gives the club a cash influx of $1,894,200.00 up front and $30,520 per win as a bonus. The up front cash will go a long way toward improving the Staff of the club and will be spent immediately.

Seattle puts together 18 passes and Freddie Ljundberg finds Nate Jaqua, who turns and shoots, goal! Seattle played stealer defense for the rest of the and never really threatened New England again in the game. 'Man of the Match', Tyrone Marhall was an excellent 'General' in the back, winning balls and directing traffic. Seattle wins their season opener and hope to continue with a run of good form.

Coach Troy has instructed the Scouting Staff to take a look throughout the Americas for some quality young Goalkeepers. The Sounders FC Keepers, lead by Kasey Keller are getting along in years and are heading into the dusk of their careers. Seattle will need to re-load at this position soon.
