In this World Cup Dynasty I will be trying to qualify with Egypt as they just lost out to Algeria in the play-offs in real-life. This will be running alongside my Wales dynasty and both will be updated regularly. No reports on friendlies will be posted as im going to play play three friendlies on kick-off in a special tour and those teams shall be unveiled in the next update.

New Egypt coach Connor Pithie announces North-East European Tour

Egypt will be playing The Faroe Islands, Norway and Finland in this North-East European tour which has been arranged by the new coach of Egypt, Connor Pithie. He will be playing these teams to test different line-ups before qualification begins.

"I am hoping that my boys can beat the Faroe Islands and atleast draw with Finland and Norway. I will be analysing these three teams play deeply and looking for weaknesses."

These were the words from the new coach Connor Pithie, hopefully he can lead Egypt far in this years, South Africa 2010 World Cup.

Coach's Review

The players played brilliantly today and all proved why they deserve to be playing for their country. At the end of the match when I went to shake the Faroe Island coach's hand he said to me, "It was an honour to play your team and we thank you for the challenge". I returned the gratitude and have made a good contact, I wish him the best of luck this world cup campaign.

Coach's Review

We played a very good defensive game with a counter attacking style which worked out well. John Carew's goal in the first half was a spectacular strike and I congratulated him as I saw him walking down the tunnel, he thanked me and I think he will be a great asset for Aston Villa this coming season.

This North-East European Tour has been a success with a 3-0-0 record. I hope the players can reproduce this form during the qualifiers which begin in less than a month.

Egypt's qualification group announced!

After a successful friendly tour of North-East Europe Egypt will have high hopes of progressing through this initial group. They have been drawn with Algeria, their bitter rivals, Angola a team that could posses a challenge and Nigeria, a team that will take all Egypt's might to take all available points from.

Coach Connor Pithie is happy with the teams he has been drawn with, except Nigeria. Connor knows they will be a tough team to beat and will most likely be the favourites to finish top of the table but can Egypt do it, can they pull off a miracle against the likes of Yobo and Martins?
