Thanks, pretty happy with 7th place. Now focusing on getting some depth on the squad for the second season.

Wow, three teams tied on points... must have been a wonderful season to follow.

Yep, FIFA 12 is an incredible game. BF3 took me away from it for a few weeks, but I am looking to getting back into this dynasty.

Had a computer crash, so lost the stats for some of the starting games for this next season. But I can look up the fixtures without the goal scorers or MOTM awards.

So, let's see the friendlies and the transfers!

Re: The Toon: MBFranchise's Newcastle United MM

Busy Transfer Season for Magpies

TRANSFER IN

RB N. Onouha (Man City) $7.5M
ST I. Jelen (Lille) $12.0M
ST C. Jerome (Stoke) $8.0M
GK L. Fabianski (Arsenal) $4.9M

TRANSFER OUT

ST L. Best (Lille) $4.7M
GK T. Krul (PSV) $8.0M
CB T. Kadar (Genk) $1.1M
ST Xisco (Nurnburg) $4.4M
CAM M. Abeid (RUFC) $1.1M
RW K. LuaLua (Leicester) $3.4M
CM D. Guthrie (Bolton) $3.9M
CM D. Gosling (Malaga) $6.0M
GK F. Forster (Leeds) $5.5M
RB J. Perch (Udinese) $1.1M

Newcastle was as active as any team in Europe during the summer transfer window. GK Tim Krul departed for PSV as the Dutch keeper wished to return to his native country. His replacement arrived from Arsenal on deadline day in the form of Lukasz Fabianski. The Toon also strengthened their defense by adding Nedum Onouha from Manchester City, an imposing figure indeed. Finally, the strike force has some more punch with the addition of Cameron Jerome and Irenuesz Jelen. Jelen arrived from Lille as part of a swap for fan favorite Leon Best. Time will tell how these changes will affect Newcastle.
