FW Co Main Event Cub Swanson 15-4 Vs Mark Hominick 20-9
Fast pace fight alot of reversals, a battle of the mat, Cub Swanson went for a kimura but Hominick got outta it, alot of the action is on the ground, a reveral battle,
both fighters trying to get the dominant positions..
2nd round in was the opposite alot of stand up, quck hands, both trying to wear the other down and maybe go for a takedown again.. Swanson drops Mark with a spinning backfist, and their back on the ground..
they do get back up about 30 seconds later.. Cub with another take down after a few punches back and forth.. 1 min left...... great 2nd round they stood and punched more this round then in the first,
3rd round they come out swinging, Cub shots and gets the take down, good battle, a few more reversals, will this go the distance ??...... Hominick doesnt wanna be on the ground he had Cub on the mat up against the cage and stood back up, Hominick must want to end this fight...2:15 left...... another takedown by Swanson and he lets Mark back up.. Cub gets dropped but gets right back up.. 1 min left and here we go, swinging away, Hominick take down with 30 seconds left.. 10 second...... this is going to the judges scorecard, great fight

Both of these guys could be 1 win away from a title shot. Donald Cerrone is the LW champ.
could the winner of this fight take Cerrone on next ??

BW Brian Bowles 10-3 (0-2) Vs Eddie Wineland 20-7-1 (2-0 game)
Two guys going in opposite directions, Bowles surprisinly has lost 2 in a row while Eddie Wineland
trys to win his 3rd straight

should be a good battle as both try to climb their way to the top and a crack at possibly Anderson Silva

HW Roy Nelson 15-7 (1-1 game) Vs Stefan Struve 22-5 (1-0 game)
short and wide Vs long and slim is what this fight should be called, Struve will try to use his reach advantage
but Nelso will look for that knock out shot, he will have to reach high for it..

Co main event WW Carlos Condit 27-6 (0-1 game) Vs Martin Kampmann 19-5 (2-0 game)
Kamp Kampmann is wanting tomake a statment and move one step closer.. this is a must win for Condit..

Main Event FW Title Chad Mendez(c) 12-0 (2-0 game) Vs Joe Stevenson 33-14 (2-0 game)
Both of these guys are on a roll and well now they must throw down for the Featherweight title..

UFC 12 Jackson vs Griffin 8-19-12

WW Josh Koscheck 16-6 (1-1 game) VS Matt Serra 13-7 (2-0 game)
Could a win by Serra give him the next shot at GSP

LW Jim Miller 20-4 (0-2 game) VS Clay Guida 30-12 (1-1 game)
Miller looking to end his 2 fight skid. but will have his hands full againts a fast pace Clay Guida

MW Rich Franklin 28-8 (0-2 game) VS Alan Belcher 16-8 (0-2 game)
someone is bound to get a win lately here in this match up

HW Alistar Overeem 36-12 (1-1 game) VS Jr Dos Santos 14-2 (1-1 game)
Rematch from UFC 1 Dos Santos won by KO in the first round..

FW Jose Aldo 20-2 (1-1 game) VS Leonard Garcia 16-8 (1-1 game)
Garcia seems to be the big underdog here as Aldo is the highest rated Featherweight and Garcia the lowest
but dont tell him that.. as Garcia coming off a win over Jens Pulver at UFC 8 looks to get the upset win. Aldo is trying to get
back to the title ranks.

Co Main Event
BW Urijah Faber 25-7 (0-2) VS Renan Barao 27-2 (1-1 game)

Barao fighting on short notice fought recently at UFC 9. Faber needs this win to get back on track or could be falling
farther down the ladder..

Main Event
LHW title Rampage Jackson(c) 34-8 (2-0 game) VS Forrest Griffin 20-6 (2-0 game)

two highly popular fighters square off for the LHW title..

**Also in the UFC news...Its been stated that Middleweight Damien Maia who has now won 3 in a row will be next in line to take on Anderson Silva for the Middleweight title at UFC 15... And Scott Jorgensen gets his shot for the Bantamweight title as he takes on Joseph Benavidez great fight there as they will square off at UFC 14

UFC 13 Carwin vs Minotauro Nogueira

What a loaded card cant wait for this to go down... Fight Night 8 has be rescheduled for sunday 8/26/12

BW Dominick Cruz 19-2 (1-1 game) VS Demetrious Johnson 10-2 (1-1 game)
Both fighters looking to get back on track and back in title contention

FW Jens Pulver 25-15-1 (1-1 game) VS Raphael Assuncao 18-4 (2-0 game)
Interesting fight here Raphael has won his last 2 fights but both were at fight nights now he makes a UFC PPV debut
against Pulver who is coming off a loss at UFC 8 many thought Florian or Mike Brown would be taking this fight against Assuncao
but Brown wasnt ready after he just fought at UFC 10 and Florian will be fighting at UFC 14 instead

LW Bj Penn 16-9-2 (0-2 game) vs Grey Maynard 11-1-1 (1-1 game)
Can Penn turn it around or is retirement nearing..

MW Chael Sonnen 25-13-1 (0-2 game) Vs Nate Marquardt 33-10-2 (2-0 game)
Nate could be next in line after Silva/Maia, But Sonnen could ruin it all with a win over Nate

LHW Rashad Evans 16-2-1 (1-1 game) Vs Lyoto Machida 19-2 (2-0 game)
Interesting fight here Machida wins it will be 3 in a row, Matt Hamill who isnt fighting tonight has 3 wins in a row already, so the question is.. if Machida wins,
who will get the shot at Griffin ?? Machida vs Griffin would be great but u cant deny what Hamill has done

Co main event
WW Jon Fitch 25-3-1 (2-0 game) vs Diego Sanchez 25-4 (2-0 game) (winner gets next title shot after GSP/Serra)
cant say it much better then that... winner gets next shot after GSP/Serra

main event Heavyweight Title
HW Shane Carwin(c) 14-2 (2-0 game) Vs Minotauro Nogueira 34-6-1 (2-0 game)
2 big horses go toe to toe for the Heavyweight title... can Carwin defend the title.

*You can find the results back on the main page under the PPV fight results link*

Welcome to another great PPV i think this card is stacked alot of great fights lets get it going.......

HW Roy Nelson 15-6 Vs Chieck Kongo 15-6-2
I knew someone was going to get knocked out in this was, both went to war and dropped each other, Nelson had Kongo rocked early in the 2nd but couldnt finish, until they both went for a right hook but Nelson landed first

Roy Nelson wins by KO @ 2:21 into the 2nd
What a war these 2 had, great win for Roy.. Now we go from the big boys to the smallest in the UFC..
================================================== ========
BW Demetrious Johnson 9-1 Vs Joseph Benavidez 14-2-1
alot of grappling early, Benavidez gets the takedown half way through the round, Cuts Johnson open, Johnson does get the reversal, A lot of ground work, with about 30 seconds left they stood up and got in some jabs, not the most exciting first round but we will see how the 2nd goes.

They come out in the 2nd throwing, and Benavidez drops Johnson with a head kick, Johnson gets back up, alot more punching this round.. Benavidez gasses alil in the middle of the round but he rocks Johnson 2 times in the round still, looking to finish it, Johnson shoots for a take down with 30 seconds left in the 2nd, Thats were the round ends, right now this fight looks to be in favor to Benavidez...

3rd round..both come out swinging, Benavidez knocks Johnson down about 2 minutes into the round, Johnson needs to do something desperate, Benavidez goes for a kimura, but Johnson battles out of it. 1 minute left, they get back up, but Johnson goes down again, Benavidez cant seem to keep Johnson down to long, the fight ends with Johnson in side control, did Johnson do enough...? Judges rule the contest
Judge 1 29-28, Judge 2 29-28, Judge 3 29-28 All in favor of Benavidez

Benavidez 2/5
Times Rocked/Knocked down
Johnson 2/2
Benavidez 0/0

Submissions Attempted
Benavidez 1

Winner Joseph Benavidez by Unanimous Decision 29-28
Great win for Benavidez, he wants to get that title shot, Right now Dominick Cruz is the Bantamweight Champion, he will face Urijah Faber for the title on 2/25/12
================================================== ========
Up next the #1 contender for the Featherweight title, which is held by Jose Aldo
FW Chad Mendez 10-0 Vs Mike Brown 24-8 *#1 contender fight*

Midway through the first Mendez gets Brown down and rocked him but Brown recovered quickly, good mixture of stand up and ground game, Mike Brown looks to be cut, Brown was rocked again but recovered from the ground and pound, end of the first, looks like it was all Mendez, Member winner is next in line to face Jose Aldo,

Brown has to get something going..Brown trys to pull Mendez into his guard but ends up with Mendez in control, Brown does reverse, alot of the early going of this round is on the ground, Mike Brown has the advantage on the ground now so far, as they stand up.. Mendez working Brown on the cage, now clinch work by both as the 2nd round comes to a end, now Mendez is bleeding, much better 2nd round for Brown.

start of the 3rd Mendez goes for a take down but Brown stuffs it and ends up on top, but Mendes gets the reversal, gets on top rocks brown again, but Brown recovers, Alot of ground work this round, the fighters get back up with 2 mins left, Mendez with Brown up against the cage, Brown has to get somethign going, he trys pulling mendez into his guard but again Mendez ends up in the dominant position, Brown rocked again at 30 seconds and recovers, but he is running out of time, I think this was was all Mendez but we will see...
The judges have awarded the fight to Mendez by Unanimous Decision 29-28
Great battle but Chad Mendez overworked Mike Brown that fight, Brown rocked 4 times.. So now it will be Jose Aldo vs Chad Mendez sometime in early/mid march.. Mendez now 11-0

Fight Stats
Punches/Elbows Landed/Thrown
Mendez 42/104
Brown 24/46

Kicks/Knees Landed/Thrown

2nd round, Belfort needs to do something, or soon it will be over..Munoz trying to end up but nice ducking and weaving by Belfort, Belfort is standing in there not backing down, Munoz gets a take down, now some ground work by both guys, a couple reversals, Munoz in side control rocked Belfort again and this time finishes him with a TKO, What a dominant win for Mark Munoz

2nd round both were striking early, Antonio went for a take down, Chuck stuffed it and got on top in Nogueira's guard but Nogueira threw up his legs, caught Chuck in a triangle and Chuck had to tap out a minute forty six into the 2nd. Tough loss for Chuck but he will be back, some names he could face next, Brandon Vera, Matt Hamill, as for Antonio Nogueira, that was his 20th win in MMA,

This next fight should be a war. Any fight with any of these 2 in it is a war, fast pace wild, Who will come out on top..
LW Clay Guida 29-11 Vs Anthony Pettis 13-2

Early drop by Pettis on Guida, but guida back up, The two end up on the ground for a few but quickly right back up, Both guys mixing it up very well, Both fighters getting in some good quick punches, back and forth... Pettis drops Guida with a quick 1-2 punch, now there back on the ground, Pettis in mount over Guida, 10 seconds left in the 1rst great round, Pettis got a knockdown by a upper cut and then later a quick 1-2.

2nd round, Guida gets the take down as Pettis was swinging, back then quickly get back up and continue to throw bombs, Guida throwing alot of punches to the body to slow pettis down, pettis goes for a kick and guida grabs his leg and takes him down, Quida is cut, Both guys dont seem to wanna stay on the ground long, their both in and out with there punches,
this is a slug fest Guida has a chin, and Pettis is hanging in there,
30 seconds left in rnd 2. Here we go 3rd round, will this fight go the distance, Pettis isnt cut open but has redness on the face, and Guida is cut under the left eye,

3rd round..they both came out and threw a quick jab to start, jabs and power shots back and forth, with some kicks thrown in, Guida takes down Pettis over and over, Pettis rocks Guida late in the 3rd that may get him some points and steal the round and even the fight, 1 minute left, Guida should be careful...30 seconds.. both still throwing.. and that does it the fight is over, i didnt think this would go all the way, Pettis rocked Guida late in the round but im not sure if it was enough, Guida was able to block and counter alot to... the judges give this fight to........... PETTIS wow.. Anthony Pettis pulls it out somehow, 29-28, I guess it kinda makes sense Guida was rocked once and knocked down 2 times, Pettis landed more shots in less attempts, Great battle...

1rst round both swinging with a few kicks, Shields takes Koscheck down, the 2 fighters do some ground work, a couple reversals, Both are very well on the ground, Shields works with the Diaz' and Koscheck a former wrestler, 30 seconds left, both guys spending most of the round trying to out wrestle the other, Shields does get in some shots from the top, end of the 1rst, a so so round, mostly on the ground

Both of these guys have faced Georges St Pierre, 2nd round they come out swinging, Shields a take down but lets Koscheck up, Koscheck caught Shields with a knee and dropped Shields but he recovered, wow very close to ending it, these 2 are not going toe to toe and not wrestling like the 1rst round, Shields is getting the take downs but Koscheck is getting in reversals or getting up, Both men are bleeding, 30 seconds left their both looking for the knock out, Shields another take down as the round end. a much better and exciting round 2, Both guys will look to end this fight soon.

AND now its time for the main event, wow this one is one we have all been waiting for.... 2 fighters who both go to the same camp, both with 1 loss, Jones is the current champion, Evans the former champ, who lost the title to Lyoto Machida, now Evans wants his belt back,

Main Event LHW Title Jon Jones(c) 13-1 Vs Rashad Evans 15-1-1

How will evans deal with the reach, Jones goes for a early takedown and its stuffed, Evans goes for a take down and he cant get it, Jones finally gets a takedown, so far all ground game, Evans full mount on Jones, but Jones gets a reversal and now on top, back and forth on the ground, neither fighter can keep the other down, they stand up with 30 seconds left, some dirty boxing at the end of the round

good back and forth 2nd round, some good punches and kicks by both, they alot of the same from the first, they end the 2nd on the ground, both got some shots in while in the dominant position, Evans is doing a good shot actually taking Jones down, Jones did get in some counters, and a spinning back kick, Jones has more damage to the face, but anything can happen

3rd round, early grappling and trying to get the take downs, Jones pulls Evans down into his guard, Jones ends up on top, they stand up against the cage, back and forth take downs, im surprised the fighters dont see it coming and sprawl faster, JOnes side control over Evans, throwing in some short hard punches, 1 minute left in the 3rd, back to there feet, Both fighters bleeding, as the 3rd ends, Championship rounds next,

Its hard to say who is winning this fight, not sure if it will go the distance but never know, 4th round.... wow flury of punches early, and then they clinch and Jones takes him down and gets on top, To many reverses to keep up with, but Jones when on top is doing more damage, Jones misses a punch while standing and Evans took him down and took his back, but Jones scrambles back up, 2 mins left in the 4th, Evans hip tosses Jones, Both fighters going for the take downs more then standing and banging, Evans rocks Jones but Jones recovers and stands up to end the 4th, solid ending of that round for Evans,

5th round coming, all or nothing in this Light Heavyweight Title fight, Jones has to watch out for another shot from Evans.... Right awya Evans takes down Jones, looking to mayeb finish, Evans rocks Jones standing, but Jones recovers for now, but with Evans power, look out it could end anytime, Jones trying to be aggressive, with some jabs and front kick, 2 mins to go in the fight, Jones now on top of Evans, still alot of reverals, Evans on top trying to finish and find that opening, 1 minute left, Jones needs to get up... Evans is gassing, 30 seconds left... and this fight has gone the distance, wow good fight... Jones and Evans shake hands after the horn sounds... who will be the Light Heavyweight Champion....... the winner is.....and NEW Light Heavyweight Champion, Rashad Evans... 49-46 all 3 judges... Great match and congrats to Rashad Evans and to all the winners today,

That might have been me, was it mikehenry1980 ? i had to sign up there under my twitter, lol, Ya im doing FN3 in alil, trying to think of a good site to show videos and pic clips, like maybe after all the fights are over, down at the bottom, i can have a section that says pics and video of each fight, such and such, For the most part i like the game just wish there wasnt so many easy reversals, and sometimes seems like the cpu fighters go for the big shots to much,
