TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY

Nathaniel Clyne was purchase by West Brom to kick off Transfer Deadline day. The rising star was sent off for £4,600,000. "I'm excited to take the next step in my career. I'm looking forward to playing in the most competitive league in the world," Clyne told reporters.

Goalkeeper Julian Speroni was sold just moments later to Real Sporting of La Liga. The disgruntled keeper was sold for £1,800,000.

Crystal Palace then went to work to fill the holes left by the newly departed.

The Eagles then tapped into Brazil to add another CDM. 28 year old Amaral was purchased from Cruzeiro for £975,000.
"Amaral will add depth to our defensive midfield. Depth has been an issue and Amaral will free us up to rest Dikgacoi and Jedinak without losing a step," manager Greg McLean said.

In the closing moments of the day the Eagles came to an agreement with Santos Laguna keeper Sanchez to join the squad. The agreement with Santos was that the Mexican club would need no compensation.
Crystal Palace then came to an agreement with Almeria to purchase Defense-man Michel Macedo Rocha Machado. Machado cost Crystal Palace £3,600,000 and will fill the void left by Clyne.

In other news it is rumored the Championship side Blackburn may be purchased by a Billionaire Oil Tycoon. We will keep an eye out for further developments.

Crystal Palace dominated the first 60 minutes of the match with Burnley, but only had 1 goal to show for it. Crystal Palace is lucky to leave Blackburn with an enormous point in the race for a top two spot. Blackburn dominated the match and forced 2 yellow cards from Crystal Palace's Jedinak.
