New signing Mathias Ranégie finds the scoresheet for Watford
21 year old in form striker Caolan Lavery scored for the 4th time in six games but left the game shortly thereafter with a sprained knee as Sheffield Wednesday made it three straight without a loss in a 1-1 draw with unbeaten Watford.
New boy Mathias Ranégie, who was acquired from Serie A side Udinese side on deadline day, leveled things for the visitors when he tapped home a loose ball in the 29th minute.
Late in the match Owls winger Michail Antonio had a golden opportunity to snatch a win for the hosts when he got behind the defense following a tremendous outlet pass from left back Reda Johnson, all alone on goal, Antonio was denied by Watford keeper Manuel Almunia who kept his club unbeaten with a brilliant save.
Despite a mark of 9-7-0, Watford have not been playing well of late having drawn their last three and four of their last five, dropping them into 2nd place, three points behind new leaders QPR.
As for Lavery, initial medical reports have him returning after the International break.

Team has really turned around its form with some of your young attackers really picking up the slack which is good to see... if you keep it up who knows you may stay in and amongst those playoff positions.
It took a while, but Atdhe Nuhiu finally has his first goal
Highly rated striker Atdhe Nuhiu broke a three month long duck, Benik Afobe added another, and Sheffield Wednesday were winners once again, hanging on to defeat fading Yeovil Town by the score of 1-2 on Bonfire Night.
The victory makes it three in four games for Stuart Gray's men who now sit just four points out of the play-off positions.
As for new boys Yeovil Town, who are in the second tier of English football for the first time in their history, reality is starting to set in. Following a surprising start which saw them win four of their first ten, they've now gone seven straight without a victory and fallen into the relegation zone for the first time all year.

Owls Fight Back For 2-2 Draw With Barnsley
A well deserved celebration
Down 0-2 before the match was even thirty minutes old, Stuart Gray's lads picked themselves up by their boot laces and went to work, drawing to within one on a 43rd minute header by Atdhe Nuhiu, his second in two games, before finally drawing level with a quarter of an hour remaining thanks to a laser shot from 21 yards by Jermaine Johnson, his first of the campaign.
All in all it was a fine showing by the Owls who head into the international break in 9th position with a mark of 6-8-4.

Rovers Fight Back For Much Needed 2-1 Win
Derby wins are always the sweetest
With two goals in just over a minute, hosts Doncaster Rovers were able to overcome a 21st minute strike from Atdhe Nuhiu and go on to a much needed 2-1 victory over South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday here at rainy Keepmoat.
Having managed to take just two points from their last four contests, the victory comes just in time for Rovers who despite taking all three points, remain perilously close to the danger zone in 17th position.
