Re: The Journal of Jordan Andrews (FIFA 13)

United, Valencia Part Ways

The Manchester United and midfielder Antonio Valencia have parted ways. The United have agreed to a transfer fee of $25,500,000 for the midfielder. The transfer comes just an hour after the denied transfer request for midfielder Nani. Nani is expected to play a larger role after the departure of the current starter in Valencia.

Jordan's Thoughts: Now that we've gotten rid of Valencia, we can finally put Nani as part of the everyday starting squad. This is definitely making our club faster.

Marcelo, United Reach Contract Agreement

Manchester United and recently acquired via transfer left back Marcelo have reportedly reached a contract agreement. The report issued by an anonymous source states that Marcelo and his agent have both agreed to the deal. The deal is also reportedly worth $180,200 in weekly wages for a total of three years. There is no clean sheet bonus included in the contract. With just under three hours remaining in the transfer deadline, Manchester United has been linked to Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart as well as Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Gonzalo Castro.

Jordan's Thoughts: We get Marcelo down under a contract so now I don't have to worry about this. Now, onto Hart and Castro. Hart would be a upgrade above De Gea but not a huge upgrade so if the asking price is too high, the deal won't happen.

Rivals City And United Complete Transfer

Rivals Manchester City and Manchester United have agreed to a transfer fee for goalkeeper Joe Hart. The transfer fee is reportedly worth a sum of $30,000,000. Many people speculate that Hart is going to refuse to sign a contract with rival Manchester United to stay with Manchester City.

Jordan's Thoughts: Great! We finished step one with the transfer agreement but the toughest part of getting Joe is going to be trying to get him to sign to a new contract before the deadline is over.

Hart, United Can't Reach Agreement As Transfer Deadline Rolls Past

It looks like Joe Hart is headed back to play with Manchester City over Manchester United. The United failed to reach an agreement with the goalkeeper and the goalkeeper will stay with rival Manchester City. United manager Jordan Andrews has revealed that they offered Hart a weekly wage of $210,500 for three years with a 15% clean sheet bonus, but his heart was with Manchester City. Hart's original contract is worth $180,000 and also has a length of three years.

Jordan's Thoughts: Oh well... You have to give credit to a guy who will deny more money just to stay with his original team. After everything is done and finished we only gained one player and gave up two.

Note from the editor:

After the last game, which was a 5-2 blowout of Aston Villa. I've decided that it is time to make the move up to semi-pro. I am hoping that this will make the games more realistic and fun to play. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to share!

BPL Suspends United's Phil Jones

The Barclays Premier League has decided to suspend Manchester United player Phil Jones for two games after he received a red card for what was deemed a vicious slide tackle during the United's game against Aston Villa. Jones joins an already large list of players who will be unavailable for their game against Norwich City. Some of the players included are Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, both whom are serving the last game of their suspensions.

Jordan's Thoughts: Great! Now we lose another player. We will have to use some of our reserves as substitutes now that we are missing so many players.
