Marvel vs DC - A WWE 2K14 Universe

I'm a huge comic book nerd and grew up a wrestling fan. My love of live wrestling pretty much died out when the current WWE crop started kicking up, but I love playing wrestling video games.

This year I decided to combine those two and have a different type of Universe going on while others like Aparess and GronkM14 do an amazing job with the wrestlers that come with the game.

My plan is to have one "brand" comprised of both Marvel and DC characters, both major and minor characters, but also keep the roster around 30 to get the most out of my Universe. Here is the roster I will be using (made up of all CAWs I were able to find):

There will be four non-wrestlers:

Penguin, Mad Hatter, Kingpin and Gordon. Gordon will be used as a Vince MacMahon type - the Commissioner of the Federation. Hatter, Penguin and Kingpin will be managers, though Kingpin is big enough that he may have to fight his way out of some situations and be okay with it.

Currently, every character has a move set done and about half has entrances done (not including teams). My hope is that Friday I will be able to finish all of the entrances and then play my first week using both story mode and Universe - cut and process the video and post it to Youtube.

Note: The Heavyweight Title will be decided KOTR style on Throwdown and the IC Title on Thunder

I'll definitely update this as I go along and because it is video and audio, it may take a little longer than a weekly update. Right now I'm going to shoot for a bi-weekly release but make it both Throwdown and Thunder. I am also going to be doing the commentary because the game sucks at it.

i basically have 50 heroes vs 50 villains and the shows will be mixed between the 2 character types to make it balanced. I am unsure of what i will title the federation right now. All i am concentrating on for now is getting the roster filled. Problem is, 9 out of 10 of these characters have yet to make it on CC so i am trying to find people to help design them for me. I am awful at making CAWs unfortunately so hopefully somebody creative can step up to the plate for me.

I also have a few others that I am thinking about adding as replacements if some of the roster is unable to be put up on CC

I am pumped to start this universe though please let me know what you think or if anyone can fill one of those requests! I'd truly appreciate it!

Just a head's up, the first episode is probably going to take a lot longer than expected. In Story Design, some CAW slots freeze up my xbox. Apparently it's a pretty big problem in the game because people in other forums are having the same issue.

I redownloaded some CAWs and nothing really seems to work outside of copying them and moving them to other slots, testing and see what works. Hopefully 2K patches this up because it is very, very annoying.

If you've been waiting for this, I'm sorry - I want everything to be perfect right away so I'd rather wait then just put **** out.

whoa that does sound annoying without question, im sure 2k will patch the problem up though real soon with the complaints coming quickly.

so you are designing your story with story creator? im just doing mine at random in WWE Universe and hoping it will play out nicely. Ive heard it's much better than last years.

i look forward to following along and i will be checking in and out of this thread! ill probably make a thread of my own when i start mine and hopefully ill have some followers as well
