Summary: Hey guys, I've decided to do a Manager mode and post it. I finally started playing Fifa on Xbox One and I'm intrigued by the possibility of being able to upload video clips of this dynasty.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I am starting with Liverpool but this will continue even if I am fired or decide to change teams. Also, I am also be doing a Southampton, Fulham or other lower level team, so keep an eye out.

2013-2014 Season Recapfifa-14-liverpool-partnership-blogheader_656x369.jpg

BPL: The goal at the start of the season was to get a Champions' League spot. Unlike in real life, United actually played well and caused us a lot of grief. Throughout the season, we were in 4 horse race with United, Spurs and Chelsea, bouncing around between 2nd and 4th. The Champions league spot was virtually guaranteed from the end of Februrary as Man City and Everton fell way behind, starting their own 2 horse race for Europa League. Arsenal proved to be specialists in failure as they fell out of Cup contention early in 2014.

The season was a bit of dry run as I tried to determine what our skills are. We bounced around formations, eventually setting on a 4-3-3 at home and a more defensive 4-4-2 Diamond away from Anfield.

Suarez and Sturridge obviously provided a ton of offense but nearly decided to leave at the transfer deadline after handing in a transfer request. Fortunately, the board opted not to interfere and Suarez was retained and eventually withdrew the transfer request.

Strategy: With a speedy, I think we'll continue to rely on the 4-3-3 with the SAS up front. The goal will be to build through the youth system, wherever possible. Hopefully being able to develop a replacement for Mr. Gerrard who seems to be mulling over retirement.

2014-2015 Season Begins

fifa-14-steven-gerrard-inform.jpg
Despite signing a 1 year extenstion to keep him in Liverpool through the 2015-2016 season, Steven Gerrard has informed the club that this year may be his last.

FA Community Shield Recap

The Liverpool-United rivalry provided an exciting start to the season. Although Liverpool looked over matched for most of the first half, they managed to keep the match tied at 1-1 through 90 minutes. Unfortunately, Liverpool could not seal deal in a game decided by penalties.

The First 5 Matches (2014-2015)

Record: 2-1-2
Position: 8th
Goals Leader: D. Sturridge (3)
Assists Leader: D. Sturridge (2)
Capital One Cup: Knocked out by MNU
Champions' League: Def CSKA Moscow in Playoff, Advanced to Group Stage

Transfer Deadline: Aymen Abdennour (IN-10.5MM + D. Agger)
Analysis: Although Agger provided solid defense, we've been getting beaten too often on through balls, so I felt we needed to add some pace on the back end. Although this was the only transfer deadline deal we made, I'll be looking to improve the overall pace of the CBs throughout the season.

I like the idea and the recaps are nice. Have you considered doing a storyline because it is focused on one manager?
