Ugh, I hope so. Since the first of the year, the fixtures have just been brutal,

Everton, Liverpool, Swansea City, at Palace, at Sunderland, Southampton, Manchester United, at Manchester City, and then Arsenal. Now that I'm through it though, the next few games will be critical if I hope to finish top 10.

Potters Put The The Sword At The Etihad

Sergio Aguero likes to score goals

Fresh off of a four to nil shellacking at the hands of top of the table Manchester United, the Potters were put to the sword again, his time by Manchester City, losing by the score of 5-0.
Sergio Aguero, and Samir Nasri each scored twice, while Javi Garcia added another to complete the rout.
Trailing by just a single goal at halftime, the Potters eventually wilted under the relentless pressure applied by the hosts, making the scoreline maybe a bit less kinder than it should have been.

Begovic Struggles Again In Draw With Arsenal

Steven N'Zonzi battles Mikel Arteta for possession

Embroiled in a contract dispute and expected to leave the club come summer, Stoke GK Asmir Begovic has not inspired any type of confidence of late, allowing an eye popping nine goals in his last two starts. Despite that however he was back in goal again today, and after a terrible first half in which he allowed two soft goals to Nicklas Bendtner, erasing an early Stoke lead in the process, it was captain Ryan Shawcross who came to his aid, leveling the match in the 68th minute while also playing some inspired defense to lead his club to a much needed 2-2 draw with the Gunners.
After the match, Shawcross praised the embattled keeper calling him "One of the best GK's in the world" and "a great teammate."

Chelsea Capture 5th League Cup

It didn't take long for the special one to bring home silverware

A first half brace from Samuel Eto'o was accompanied by a wicked late strike from Oscar as Chelsea captured their 5th ever Capital One Cup, and first since 2006-07 with a dominating 3-0 victory over Manchester City.
Back at the helm after a six year sabbatical, manager Jose Mourinho has now won three League cups(2005, 2007, 2014) to go along with two BPL titles(2004-05, 2005-06) and an FA Cup(2007).

Begovic Sparkles In Potters 2-0 Victory At Carrow Road

Stoke City keeper Asmir Begovic

Goals from Oussama Assaidi and Connor Wickham combined with a man of the match performance by beleaguered goal keeper Asmir Begovic was more than enough for visiting Stoke City who picked up a much needed 2-0 victory over Norwich City and their new manager Neil Adams.
Interviewed after the match, Begovic praised captain Ryan Shawcross, saying: "he never lost faith in me, ever. And when things were dicey early on he was there, in my ear keeping me focused. He is a true captain in my book."
