Re: WWE 2K15 Universe: Brand Wars

WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW PRESENTS: BACKLASH!

Backlash is live from The Izod Center in East Rutherford New Jersey. This is the first PPV since the brand split, and it belongs to Triple H's Monday Night RAW brand. It's important that RAW puts on a great show tonight, as that would put them ahead by a large margin in the brand war. Without further adieu, let the show begin!

Pre show match: Santino Marella vs. Tyson Kidd

Backstory: Two weeks ago on RAW Santino upset Tyson Kidd with a roll up victory. Kidd looks to get some retribution here tonight in the pre-show match.

Highlights and Memorable moments:
 • Kidd comes down to the ring not only with his headphones around his neck, but with his headphones on. I guess he hates his theme music
 • Santino is down to the ring to a good reaction
 • Kidd gets the upper hand early on
 • Every time Kidd really starts bulding momentum Santino shuts him down with a small move. Kidd is having trouble keeping a rythym.
 • Kidd is about to go for a Sharpshooter, but Santino fights out.
 • Santino goes for the Cobra, but Kidd ducks and hits Santino with a devastating roundhouse kick.
 • With Santino down, Kidd is able to lock in the Sharpshooter, and Santino is forced to tap.
Winner: Tyson Kidd

With that over the PPV is ready to officially begin!

Match #1 (RAW Tag Team Championships): Luke Harper & Erick Rowan vs. The Brotherhood(c)

Backstory: The Brotherhood over the past few weeks have been saving The Big Show from a series of Wyatt Family attacks. This is what happens when you get involved in The Wyatts business, you have to put your titles on the line against two brutes.

Hightlights and memorable moments:
 • Harper and Rowan are out alone, no Bray in sight. He has a match tonight against The Big Show.
 • The tag champs make their way down to the ring, always looking behind them incase Bray decides to sneak up and try something.
 • The match starts off with Rowan and Rhodes. Rowan is way too powerful for Rhodes, who is forced to tag in Goldust.
 • The decimation begins as Rowan and Harper make quick tags, and pick apart Goldust.
 • Harper makes that disturbing "yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah" sound multiple times during this beatdow.
 • Rowan in control of Goldust tags in Harper, but Goldust is able to find and opening as he elbows both men in the face and goes for the hot tag to Cody!
 • Rhodes comes in like a house of fire clotheslining the legal Harper, then knocking Rowan off the apron.
 • Cody turns around and is immediately nailed by a Disqus clothesline! You don't kick out of that. 1-2-3.
Winners and NEW RAW Tag Team Champions: Luke Harper & Erick Rowan.

Match #3: Bray Wyatt vs. The Big Show

Backstory: Bray Wyatt and his family have been attacking the Big Show week after week after week, and Big Show has has enough. It's not enough for Show that he's had matches with Harper and Rowan, he wants the ring leader Bray Wyatt in the ring, and he wants to hurt him.

Memorable moments and highlights:
 • Brays family leaves after their match, it looks like this is gonna be a clean one on one.
 • Big Show doesn't have a smile on his face tonight, he's all business.
 • Bray runs at Show and starts throwing punches. He's quicker than Show and he's trying to use that to his advantage.
 • Show pushes Bray away multiple times and then tells him to try it again. Bray leaves the ring to regroup and think of something.
 • Bray works Show into a corner, but Show is able to turn things around and put Bray in the corner.
 • The Big Show presses that giant boot into the face of Wyatt in the corner, then shushes the crowd. He hits a huge slap on Bray.
 • Show continues to be on the offensive, and Bray is obviously caught off guard. He exits the ring multiple times to get his wits about him.
 • Wyatt manages to shift the momentum in his favor with a big cross body.
 • Bray hits a splash on Show and Show gets to his feet only to find himself in Wyatts grasp for the sister abigail.
 • 1-2… NO! Show manages to kick out of the Sister Abigail. Bray is shocked.
 • Bray continiues to stomp and swing at Show to weaken him, and he brings Show back up to his feet. Show immediatley comes out of nowhere with a WMD! Bray falls to the mat, but he's able to escape the ring, saving himself from a loss.
 • Show gets Bray in the ring, and goes to pick him up. Bray immediatly responds with a second Sister Abigail! This ones over.
Winner: Bray Wyatt

Backstage: Renee Young is standing by with Chris Jericho, who challenges Cena for the WWE Championship in tonights main event. Renee asks Young if Jericho is confident going into this match. Jericho berates Renee for this question. Of course he's confident, he's the best in the world at what he does.

Match #3 (U.S Championship Tournament Finals): Rusev vs. Jack Swagger

Backstory: A tournament was held over the past three weeks on RAW to help crown a new U.S champion. It all boils down to the anti-American Rusev, and the Real American Jack Swagger. Who's gonna take home the gold?

Memorable moments and highlights
 • The crowd is so behind Jack Swagger. It's amazing
 • Rusev begins to dominate early on. He's targeting Swaggers back.
 • Swagger takes control, then Rusev takes control. It's very back and forth.
 • Swagger is throwing around Rusev like he's a child. It's an amazing sight.
 • Rusev manages to hit Swagger with a big superkick.
 • Rusev stomps on Swaggers back, and signals for the end. He locks in the accolade, and Swagger taps.
Winner and NEW U.S Champion: Rusev

Match #4 (#1 contenders match for the WWE Championship): Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins

Backstory: We all know the story of the sellout Seth Rollins. Reigns has been on a path for revenge since that faithful day, and he almost got it four weeks ago on Raw in a no DQ match against Rollins, but Rollins stole the victory with a low blow. Now these two get to not only settle their personal differences, but they also get a shot at becoming #1 contenders for the WWE Championship!

Memorable moments and highlights:
 • Rollins starts off the match evading every strike Reigns throws, and it's pissing Reigns off.
 • Rollins continues to play mind games. He hits a few strikes, leaves the ring and evade Reigns, then repeats the process.
 • Rollins slaps Reigns in the face, and it's on now! Reigns catches Rollins and starts beating him down.
 • Rollins manages to get control of the match later on. He hit's a standing shooting star press. That never gets old.
 • Both men have thrown almost everyhting at each other. On top of this being a wrestling match, it's also been a slugfest.
 • Reigns cocks his fist and he's ready to hit the Superman Punch, he goes for it, but Rollins moves out of the way and trips Reigns. Rollins then bounces off the ropes and hits the Curb Stomp for a victory. WOW.
Winner and #1 contender for the WWE Championship: Seth Rollins

Match #5: Matt Hardy vs. Titus O'Neil (with Reverend D-Von)

Backstory: Matt Hardy defeated Titus in the first match of the U.S title tournament, and afterwords the two men shook hands. Meanwhile D-Von Dudley had returned as a Reverend and had been racking up some wins. Two weeks later in Hardys semi finals match against Rusev, O'Neil would come out of nowhere and cost Hardy the match. It turns out that O'Neil was under the influence of this so called "Reverend". Matt looks to straighten out O'Neil here tonight.

Memorable moments and highlights:
 • O'Neil and Hardy start out slugging.
 • O'Neil leaves the ring multiple times during the match to talk to D-Von. At the end of every session D-Von would scream "TESTIFY!" and O'Neil would do the dog bark.
 • Hardy begins to get the better of Titus.
 • O'Neil starts showing some aggresiveness, and he stops Hardy from gaining anymore momentum.
 • O'Neil hits Clash of the Titus, and pins Hardy for the win.
Winner: Titus O'Neil

Match #6 (WWE Championship): John Cena(c) vs. Chris Jericho

Backstory: People expected a fun meeting between two friends when Jericho hosted The Highlight Reel with guest John Cena, but thats not what they got. Instead Jericho starting ripping apart Cena, complaining and showing his jealousy towards the #1 pick in the draft. Jericho would then drive Cenas head into the Jeritron 5000, and here we are tonight. Cena can't wait to get his hands on Jericho, and Jericho can't wait to get his hands on the gold.

Memorable moments and highlights:
 • Cena and Jericho both get a mixed reaction from this New Jersey crowd.
 • Cena overpowers Jericho in the lock up, Jericho needs to look for another way to get the better of Cena.
 • Jericho and Cena trade momentum back and forth for a while. No one is really able to take control of the match.
 • Jericho slaps Cena, and Cena slaps back. Eventually the two are in a slap war.
 • Jericho hits a lionsault, but Cena kicks out.
 • Jericho immediatly goes for a second lionsault, but Cena moves and locks in the STF. Jericho crawls to the ropes.
 • Jericho superplexes Cena.
 • Cena is pullin out all the stops here tonight as he hits a suicide dive on Jericho into the front of the announcers table.
 • Jericho locks in the walls, but Cena reaches the ropes.
 • Cena hits the AA, and then locks in the STF middle of the ring. Jericho has to tap!
Winner and STILL WWE Champion: John Cena

Cena celebrates in the ring and with fans around ringside. Cole and Lawler thank us for tuning in to a historic night, and Backlash is in the books.

Thanks bro. For the most part I'm the booker. I tried to let the cpu book the the Rollins Reigns rivalry, but it kept booking the same match week after week. I decided to work with it and pretend that a a Rollins Reigns match was actually a brawl.

Re: WWE 2K15 Universe: Brand Wars

May Week 1

News and Rumors before RAW:

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are rumored to not be in attendance tonight. If thats the case it'll be interesting to see how HHH books things with the number one contender for his brands world title MIA.

Monday Night Raw

RAW opens with the iconic music of out current WWE champion John Cena. Cena storms down to the ring and shows off his title, which he retained last night in a great match against Chris Jericho.

Cena introduces the crowd to RAW, but before he can say anything important Jerichos music hits. Out comes Y2J. Jericho starts talking about how he deserves a rematch. The crowd chants "you tapped out!" at Jericho, and he's visibly upset.

Triple H interrupts Jericho. He says that since the number one contender Seth Rollins isn't in attendance tonight he needs a main event. Triple H approves the rematch for tonight. Wow!

Match #1: Titus O'Neil, Reverend D-Von & Tyson Kidd vs. Big Show, Darren Young & Heath Slater

Big Show starts off the match, and no one can touch him. He makes a tag to Slater, and it's all downhill from there. Slater and Young get demolished. D-Von and Titus have amazing chemistry, and Kidd is a great addition. Titus wins his team the match without Show ever getting a tag in.
Winners: Titus, D-Von & Kidd

Match #2: Fandango vs. Sheamus

We haven't seen much of Sheamus at all since the start of the brand split. Tonight he reminded us all exactly what he does as he squashed Fandando with a jaw-shattering Brogue kick.
Winner: Sheamus

After a commercial break: Rusev and Lana come out holding the United States championship. Lana mocks the crowd for living in a country that can't even defend it's own championship.

Lana and Rusev are interrupted by none other than... The Hurricane! This guys got some hurri-guts. Hurricane points out that Rusev wins the U.S title, the goes on to trash America. Whats up wit dat? Hurricane wants to teach Rusev a lesson. Oh god.

Match #3 : Rusev vs. The Hurricane

Embarrassing. Hurricane gets it handed to him by Rusev, and he ends up tapping to the Accolade.

Winner: Rusev

Lana has one more thing to say after the match. She want this to serve as a perfect representation of the competition this company offers Rusev.

Match #4: Matt Hardy vs. Kane

Kane is another man who we haven't seen much of recently, so it's good to see him tonight.

Kane and Hardy put on an unexpected classic, and absolute shocker how good this match was. After a few close calls and false finishes Kane is able to put away Hardy with a thunderous Chokeslam.
Winner: Kane

Match #5: Luke Harper vs. Goldust

Noticable is the absence of Bray Wyatt here. Harper still had Rowan in his corner either way.

Still, Harper doesn't need any help as he continues the momentum he and Rowan gained after winning the tag titles last night by picking up an emphatic win.
Winner: Luke Harper

Match #6 (WWE Championship): Chris Jericho vs. John Cena(c)

This match is basically a shadow of their match last night. Both men put it all on the line, but in the end the face of the WWE was able to retain his title once again. A good effort by Jericho
Winner: John Cena

After the match Cena grabs a microphone. He says that next week he would like to have Seth Rollins face to face as they have a talk that needs to go down. See you next week Rollins!

RAW ends with Cena celebrating with the fans, still our WWE Champion.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

News and rumors before Smackdown!:

Theres nothing advertised, but after Lesnar no showed last week fans are hoping for an appearance from the beast. Lets hope it happens!

For those fans asking about Daniel Bryan and Jeff Hardy, both men are still injured and they will miss Smackdowns first PPV Payback, Bryan will miss Money in the Bank and possibly Summerslam as well. Hopefully Bryan can return before he misses a majority of the year.

Friday Night Smackdown!

Smackdown kicks off with a WOOO, and the general manager Ric Flair. Flair lets us know that tonight there won't be any funny business. Brock Lesnar is on his way to the arena as we speak, and he will be here tonight to meet Dean Ambrose face to face, man to man. Ambrose will also be in tonights main event, taking on Bad News Barrett. WOOOO!

Match #1: The Miz vs. William Regal

Miz of course has Mizdow copying his every action. Mizdow doesn't have much copying to do tonight, as this match is short. The Miz wins with a rollup pin.
Winner: The Miz

After the match Bo Dallas' music hits and out he comes. Bo tries to pull the same crap as the last few weeks where he mocks Regal for losing, but Regal grabs the microphone away from him. Regal acts like he's gonna say something, but he instead hits Dallas over the head with the microphone. Dallas scurries out of the ring.

Match #2: Dolph Ziggler vs. Justin Gabriel

Ziggler doesn't have too much trouble here as he knocks off Gabriel, winning after a Zig-Zag.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler

After the match: Ziggler cuts a promo talking about he he's proud to be a fighting champion. He sees all of the contenders who are scratching and clawing for a shot at his title, and he sees every single one as an opportunity to steal the show.

Match #3: Kofi Kingston vs. Jey Uso

Both men of course have their teammates by their sides. This is a great match between halves of two tag teams, and in the end Kofi is able to knock of Jey. Things are still neck and neck in the tag division
Winner: Kofi Kingston

Match #4: Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio

Orton is extremely aggressive in this match, as if he has something to prove. He ends up planting Rey with an RKO and getting the win.
Winner: Randy Orton

After the match: Orton calls out Ric Flair screaming and whining. He wants to know what it takes to get himself back in talks for number one contention.

Flair appears on the titantron and tells Orton that here on Smackdown we earn out spot. According to Flair right now RVD is next in line for a shot at the title. Orton takes this to heart. He says he understands what he has to do then, he has to get rid of RVD.

Match #5: Shelton Benjamin vs. Cesaro

Cesaro needs to get back on track after Shelton returned and knocked him off two weeks ago.

He gets it done here as he's able to knock off Benjamin, winning with the uppercut.
Winner: Cesaro

Match #6: Dean Ambrose vs. Bad News Barrett

Ambrose and Barrett absolutely come at each other violently in this match. Ambrose is very violent and angry, and thats what ends up giving him the advantage. He wins with the double arm DDT.
Winner: Dean Ambrose

After the match: Dean Ambrose. He says that he's waited all week for this, and he's not gonna wait another second. No more games, he wants Lesnar...

That spine chilling note of Lesnars theme plays, and this time the beast is here along with Lesnar! The two men make it to the middle of the ring, and Lesnar finally meets Ambrose face to face.

Heyman starts laughing out of nowhere. He tells Ambrose to be careful what he wishes for. Heyman says that Ambrose has Lesnar face to face, now what is he gonna do?

Ambrose looks at Lesnar and then looks at Heyman, He makes an expression that basically says "oh well!" and he jumps on Lesnar fists flying! Ambrose gets pushed off, but he comes coming back to get some more. Eventually the brawl spills outside, and Heyman signals for security to come down. The security tries to separate the two men, but they are trying to kill each other.

Smackdown ends with security finally getting control of the situation. Ambrose is bleeding from his mouth and Lesnar has a busted nose. What a fight to end Smackdown!

Re: WWE 2K15 Universe: Brand Wars

May Week 2

News and Rumors before RAW:

WWE Champion John Cena is absent from tonights Raw due to having other obligations

Also noticeably absent is #1 contender Seth Rollins who also missed Raw last week.

Monday Night Raw

Chris Jerichos music opens Raw, and he's noticeably upset after his loss to Cena two weeks ago at Backlash, and his loss last week in the rematch.

Jericho says that he knows whats going on, Cena isn't here tonight because he knows that he would have to defend the title in one more rematch. Jericho starts demanding a rematch for next week.

Roman Reigns interrupts Jericho. He tells Jericho that he doesn't deserve a rematch, and that it doesn't matter right now anyway because Cena isn't here. Regins is here, and he wants a match one on one with Jericho tonight. Y2J accepts, and it's official.

Match #1: Titus O'Neil & Reverend D-Von vs. Big Show & Santino Marella

Big Show starts off the match and dominates just like last week, but eventually Titus and D-Von wear him down and he's forced to make a tag. Santino comes in and it's an easy victory from there. Titus and D-Von decimate Santino, and Big Show never sees another tag, just like last week. Titus wins with Clash of the Titus.
Winners: O'Neil & D-Von

Someone get Show a better partner.

Match #2: Erick Rowan vs. Darren Young

Rowan decimates Young while fellow tag team champ Harper does the thousand yard stare ringside
Winner: Luke Harper

After the match Harper enters the ring and hits the Disqus clothesline on Young for good measure.

Match #3: Hurricane vs. Kane

Kane doesn't get a complete walk in the park here as Hurricane is able to gets some offense in and at one point it looks like he has a chance to win. That is until he goes up top and gets caught in a chokeslam!
Winner: Kane

After the commercial break: Rusev and Lana have a message for the WWE Universe. They say that Russias super athlete represents America as their U.S Champion. Next week Rusev will offer an open challenge to anyone that wants to try to reclaim America.

Match #4: Tyson Kidd vs. Matt Hardy

This was a great match between these two men. Kidd is making a strong argument for a push in the future, but tonight belongs to Matt Hardy.
Winner: Matt Hardy

As Matt Hardy is celebrating, the titantron flashes. An odd promo video plays that clearly belongs to Bray Wyatt

At the end Wyatts voice says that Matt Hardy is next.
RUN

Match #5: Fandango vs. Goldust

Goldust picks up the win here as he and Cody attempt to build up momentum after losing the tag titles at Backlash.
Winner: Goldust

Match #6: Chris Jericho vs. Roman Reigns

Jericho has been on a downward spiral if I've ever saw one. It doesn't help that he accepted a match here against the hungry up-and-coming Roman Reigns.

A superman punch and two spears is what it takes to defeat Jericho, but Reigns gets it done
Winner: Roman Reigns

Reigns celebrates in the ring, as he begins his climb back to a position of number one contendership.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

News and rumors before Smackdown!:

Brock Lesnar will not be here tonight.

There will be a six man tag main event. Ziggler, Benjamin, and RVD vs. Orton, Cesaro, Barrett.

NOTE: On a WWE.com pole, Dean Ambrose was voted as the #1 face in the company. We'll see if Flair uses this to his advantage.

Friday Night Smackdown!

Dean Ambroses music opens Smackdown. Ambrose says that last week he got his hands on Brock Lesnar, and it felt so good busting his nose. Ambrose says to call him crazy, call him unstable, call him unhinged, call him whatever you want, because he wants more of Lesnar. Whenever Lesnar is man enough to show up again an meet him face to face he will be right there waiting.

Match #1 (#1 contender for the SD Tag Team Titles: Miz & Mizdow vs. The New Day

These two teams have been neck an neck for week, and they finally get a #1 contenders match here. In the end Miz & his stunt double outsmart The New Day as they send Mizdow sneaking around ringside to take out Kofi, which distracts Big E and allows Miz to roll him up for the win.
Winners and new #1 contenders: Miz & Mizdow

After the match The Usos come out to the top of the ring to stare down their new challengers.

Match #2: Curtis Axel vs. Zack Ryder

Axel makes easy work of Ryder, winning with the hangman's neck breaker.
Winner: Curtis Axel

Axel grabs a mic. He says that he challenges Ryback to do better than than tonight.

Match #3: Bo Dallas vs. R-Truth

Bo is in control the majority of this match, but Truth does gets some spurts of offense in here and there. Bo has Truth right where he wants him, when all of the sudden the music of William Regal starts playing, Bo turns around after the distraction and gets hit with Little Jimmy.
Winner: R-Truth

It looks like William Regal is the one playing the mind games now. Bo might regret messing with Regal.

Match #4: Ryback vs. Justin Gabriel

Ryback comes right out of the gate with a huge shoulder barge that sends Gabriel flying. It's not long before Ryback hits the meathook, nails the shellshock, and pins Gabriel for an extremely easy victory.
Winner: Ryback

Ryback has a microphone:

Ryback: Hows that for topping your match? STUPID!

That comment was clearly directed at Axel after his challenge earlier tonight.

Match #5: Ziggler, RVD & Shelton Benjamin vs. Cesaro, Randy Orton & Bad News Barrett.

Ziggler has Cesaro and Benjamin breathing down his neck for a shot as his I.C title, meanwhile Randy Orton has set his sight on destroying RVD, who he feels is the reason he's not #1 contender right now. Bad News Barrett is also looking to rack up some wins and get himself into #1 contendership for Zigglers title.

The match is great, all three teams put on a show. The ending comes when RVD hits a frog splash on Barrett, and Ziggler and Benjamin run in to take out Orton and Cesaro. This allows RVD to pick up the win for his team.
Winner: RVD, Ziggler, & Benjamin.

After the match: Orton and Cesaro run in and attack the three men. Orton has a chair, and he hits RVD in the head with it. Orton and Robs fight spills out through the crowd.

In the ring Cesaro uses a chair of his own to beat down Benjamin and Ziggler. He's about to pick up Ziggler for a neutralizer, when the music of none other than John Morrison hits! Morrison runs down to the ring, bounces off the ropes, and rebounds with a kick to the head.

Cesaro stumbles out of the ring angrily. Morrison helps Ziggler and Benjamin to their feet, and stands tall as Smackdown goes off the air. What a huge return!

It looks like John Morrison is also gunning for Zigglers IC Championship. This should be interesting.

Re: WWE 2K15 Universe: Brand Wars

May Week 3

News and Rumors before RAW:

Seth Rollins missed the last two Raws after winning #1 contendership at Backlash. Tonight he and champion John Cena will both be here, so this should be good.

Rollins will be in the main event against The Big Show

Monday Night Raw

Raw opens with the familiar music of champion John Cena. He says that it feels great to be here in St. Louis for Monday Night Raw! Cena wants to get down to business, he's the WWE champion, and somewhere the #1 contender Seth Rollins is watching, and he wants Rollins face to face.

Someones music hits, but it's not Rollins... It's Tyson Kidd! Kidd says that Rollins isn't here just yet, but he has something to prove. He wants the champ one on one right now, and Cena wants to let it happen!

Match #1: John Cena vs. Tyson Kidd

What can you really expect from this match? Kidd gets a decent amount of offense in, but Cena hits the AA for the win.
Winner: John Cena

I'm sure Cena will be back later when Rollins shows up.

Match #2: Santino Marella & Darren Young vs. Reverend D-Von & Titus O'Neil

O'Neil & Titus have the type of chemistry most tag teams can only dream of. They easily knock off Santino & Young here.
Winner: D-Von & O'Neil

D-Von grabs a mic. He starts preaching to the crowd and telling them to follow God again, no wait, scratch that. Don't just follow God follow D-Von! Are you kidding me?

D-Von cites O'Neil as an example of how he can change someones life for the better. Testify!

Match #3: Matt Hardy vs. Chris Jericho

Jericho looks to gain some momentum after three big consecutive losses, 2 to Cena, and one last week to Roman Reigns.

He manages to get it done after a great match. He catches Hardy with a codebreaker and takes the victory.
Winner: Chris Jericho

Jericho leaves the ring, leaving Matt on the ground. The titantron all of the sudden flashes, and the same Wyatt Family promo that haunted Matt last week plays again. Matt looks confused as the promo flashes off, bringing us into a commercial break.

Match #4: Kane vs. Heath Slater

An easy squash for the Demon. Kane wins with a chokeslam
Winner: Kane

After a commercial break: U.S champion Rusev and Lana are in the ring. They're following throughout with the challenge sent out last week to any American who wants to try and challenge Rusev.

The challenge is answered by The Real American Jack Swagger!

Match #5: Rusev vs. Jack Swagger

These two men put life and limb on the line. The fight ends up spilling to the outside. Swagger manages to power bomb Rusev through a table, and then just barely make it into the ring before the count of ten.

Winner: Jack Swagger

Swagger may have won, but not in the way he wanted. This isn't over.

Match #6: Seth Rollins vs. The Big Show

Rollins evades the slower Big Show for a majority of the match. When Show does catch Rollins he lets him have it, hitting him with slaps and throwing him around.

Show runs at Rollins with a spear, which Rollins reverses into a DDT. Rollins hits the curb stomp on show and gets the victory.
Winner: Seth Rollins

After the match Cena comes down to the ring. He gets in Rollins face and holds the title in the air. This is the image we get as Raw goes off the air.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

News and rumors before Smackdown:

Brock Lesnar misses yet another week of Smackdown tonight. #1 contender Dean Ambrose is also absent tonight

John Morrison made a huge return last week that got Smackdown fans buzzing. He ail have a match against the man who's attack he stopped last week Cesaro.

Friday Night Smackdown!

Morrisons music opens Smackdown, and he gets an absolutely amazing reaction from the crowd. This will be his first match in the WWE since 2012.

Match #1: John Morrison vs. Cesaro

Cesaro comes after Morrison with extreme aggression. He throws multiple uppercut, and is trying to slow down Morrison and effectively shut up the crowd. Morrison takes a beating from Cesaro, but he's able to comeback and lands a big Pelè kick, and then wins with Starship Pain.
Winner: John Morrison

After the match Morrison grabs a microphone. He tells us that it's great to be back here on Smackdown, and he's back for two reasons. One: To put an end to
sore losers like Cesaro getting their way, and two: to win the intercontinental championship!

Backstage: Bad News Barrett is backstage with GM Ric Flair. He tells Flair that he demands a number one contenders match for the I.C title. Flair says that the I.C title scene is very crowded, and theres not any room for another guy. Flair says he will make an exception, if Barrett can defeat Rey Mysterio tonight he'll get a number one contenders match.

Match #2: William Regal vs. Justin Gabriel

Regal hasn't won a match in the past 6 weeks. He changes his approach to this match. Regal has a special flare tonight, a viciousness that we haven't seen in weeks. He wins with a knee to the face.
Winner: William Regal

Regal grabs a microphone and says that he wants that to serve as a warning to Bo Dallas. He and the rest of the locker room has grown tired of his antics. Regal says Dallas lit a fire under him that he hasn't felt since 2008, and he want a match at Payback to unleash that fire.

An amazing promo by the always great William Regal

Match #3: Rey Mysterio vs. Wade Barrett

Barrett takes control of this match, motivated by the fact that this match could potentially earn him the shot at the I.C title. He almost has Rey beat, but Rey manages to trip Barrett over and hit the six one nine for a shocking win.
Winner: Rey Mysterio

After the match a frustrated Barrett attacks Rey from behind. He picks up Rey and hits The Bull Hammer elbow.

Morrison mentioned sore losers earlier?

Match #4: Shelton Benjamin vs. R-Truth

Benjamin and Truth have a mutual respect for each other, they shake hands before the match.

Benjamin manages to take this one with Paydirt. He's another man on the path to the I.C championship
Winner: Shelton Benjamin

Benjamin grabs a microphone. He says that he wants that I.C title so bad, and every week he gets closer. He speaks for everyone when he says that he wants answers next week from Ric Flair, who's getting a shot at the title?

After a commercial break: Paul Heyman comes down to the ring, and he starts talking up his client Brock Lesnar. He says that in two weeks at Payback Lesnar is going to destroy Dean Ambrose, and send a message to anyone gunning for the World Championship. Think twice before trying to get a match with The Beast Incarnate.

Match #5: Jimmy Uso vs. Mizdow

This match is one half of the SD Tag Champs vs. One half of the #1 contenders. Jimmy hits a super kick on Mizdow, and then hits a superfly splash for the win.
Winner: Jimmy Uso

Jimmy and Jey sent a message that those tag titles aren't coming off easily.

Match #6: Randy Orton & Curtis Axel vs. Ryback & RVD

Axel avoids Ryback all match, tagging out whenever he gets in. RVD is trying to kill Orton after he attacked him with a steel chair last week, as a result Orton is destroyed in whats essentially a handicapped match.

Ryback hits the Shellshocked on Orton and goes for a pin. Axel runs in the ring and breaks the pin with a sledgehammer.
Winners: Ryback & RVD

Axel, overcome by jealousy over the success of his former teammate begins repeatedly hitting Ryback with the sledge hammer. Rob tries to run in and stop it, but he's hit with an RKO outta nowhere by Orton.

Smackdown ends with Orton and Axel standing over their respective foes. Cole calls it a sickening display by Axel and Orton, and I have to agree.
