Big Names Already On The Move As Winter Transfer Period Commences

Sergio Aguero is off to Real Madrid in a £52 million pound move

With just two weeks remaining in the winter transfer period, big names are starting to fly, but none bigger than striker Sergio Aguero, who was allowed to leave Manchester City in a £52 million pound move to Real Madrid. Other business concluded thus far:

- Box to box machine Sami Khedira has agreed to join Manchester City in the summer, spurning both Real Madrid and AC Milan in the process.

- 26 year old CB Andrea Ranocchia will be swapping shirts in the summer but not home stadiums, making the shock move from Inter to AC Milan it has been confirmed.

- FC Porto have sold right back Danilo to Napoli in a £9 million pound move.

- Saint Etienne have sold 27 year old striker Mevlut Erdinc to Stoke City for £6.5 million pounds

- Hellas Verona have sold GK Rafael to Levante for a reported £2.4 million pounds.

-Paris Saint Germain have given in and sold promising young midfielder Adrien Rabiot to AC Milan for the cut rate price of just £2.9 million pounds.

- Crystal Palace have sold striker Marouane Chamakh to Spanish side Almeria for £2.8 million pounds

- Stoke City have sold defender Marc Wilson to Burnley for a reported £1.7 million pounds

- Finally, in a press conference earlier today, AC Milan chairman Silvio Berlusconi announced that because of FFP regulations and impending squad limits, the Rossoneri will be unable to conduct any more incoming transfer business without first cutting the wage bill and selling off those excess to requirements.

I had told you before I would go over the club and my plans going forward, so here we go.

First off, we have 29 players in the squad(30 Maximum)
27 of our own players and three loanees(Torres, van Ginkel, and Armero)
Besides that we have 11! Players out on loan and Ranocchia and Rabiot coming in meaning we're 10 over the max for 2015-16

Of the 27 players in the first team, 5 players(Essien, Abbiati, Bonera, Pazzini, and Mexes) are out of contract at season's end. All 5 are transfer listed and combined they earn nearly 300,000 pounds per week! Needless to say they'll all be allowed to walk, cutting the first team down to 35. Of the 11 players loaned out, only one(Didac) is out of contract and he'll walk, that's 4. All of the other 10 will need to be loaned out or released if I hope to sign anyone come summer.

If I'm able to move someone in the next two weeks, I have two transfers agreed upon and ready to go:

- a season long loan of Suso with a buyout price of 7.5 million pounds

-An outright purchase of Porto CM Ruben Neves for I believe 3.5?

My hope is that it works out and I can bring them both in, if not my plan is set back another year. You see originally I wanted to reinforce the back line and strengthen midfield during this window. Then strengthen the attack in the summer. If all fails and no one goes, I'll look for another player or two out of contract and go for them.
