Quarterfinal Scores

Germany 1-0 Uruguay

Argentina 1-0 Italy

Belgium 2-2 Bosnia-Herzegovina
*Belgium advances 4-3 in pens.

England 2-1 Spain

----------------------------------------
Semifinal Matches

Germany vs. Argentina
Belgium vs. England

Notes: Of all the games, the Belgium vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina match provided the most action in a thrilling penalty shootout win for Belgium. Fans of Bosnia-Herzegovina have nothing to hang their heads about as they showed very well in their first World Cup. England have endured a tough road to the semifinals with fighting their way through a tough group that included wins over Italy and Ecuador, then beating Colombia and eventually Spain. England were the only team to score on Spain, who looked like they were on a collision course with the World Cup trophy.

We'll see how many are right!

2/4 isn't half-bad.....well maybe it is half-bad, half-good? haha!

I'm surprised at the Spain-England result to be honest.

Semifinal Scores

Germany 2-1 Argentina

Belgium 2-1 England

----------------------------------------
Third Place Match

Argentina vs. England
----------------------------------------
World Cup Final

Germany vs. Belgium

Notes: England's run has ended at the hands of Belgium. In what would have been a fantastic final, the Germans have just enough to get passed Argentina. Three of the final four teams left standing are European teams...also noted is that there is a guaranteed European winner on South American soil.

Ahhhhhh...now you are getting the hang of this whole prediction game

Scores were spot on with dual 2-1 matches, but again you were 50%

Third Place Score

England 2-0 Argentina

Notes: Adam Lallana scored 5 goals this competition to lead all scorers and was helped along by Wayne Rooney who contributed 3 of his own. Argentina's balanced offense was led by Ezequiel Lavezzi with 2 goals, but they were all shut out in this Third Place Match with England placing in the competition for the first time since they were named champions in 1966.
