Barclays Premier League
August 24, 2014
Goodison Park

Everton 1-0 Arsenal

45' Samuel Eto'o - EVE

An early nominee for goal of the year goes to Samuel Eto'o's 45th minute strike against Arsenal this evening. The goal turned out to be all Everton needed tonight at Goodison Park, although this was no stroll in the park. Arsenal controlled possession for minutes at a time, but The Toffees defense never broke. Tim Howard was only forced into four saves out of the ten shots Arsenal threw at him, while Wojciech Szczesny was only needed for three saves on seven Toffee shots. Another great game in the rain at Goodison this evening that was only tainted by the first half injury to Romelu Lukaku who needed to be substituted for and is expected to miss three weeks with a sprained ankle.

August 23, 2014
Aston Villa 1-2 Newcastle United
Chelsea 3-0 Leicester City
Crystal Palace 1-2 West Ham
Hull City 0-3 Stoke City
Manchester City 2-1 Liverpool
Southampton 2-2 West Brom
Sunderland 1-1 Manchester United
Swansea City 2-1 Burnley

August 24, 2014

Re: Everton F.C. --- The Roberto Martinez era (FIFA 15)

I did the same but started playing FIFA again over the weekend. I'm considering posting a manager mode on here. Tough loss to Arsenal in stoppage time!

You absolutely should...if you like blowing through seasons, this isn't for you, but if you don't mind taking your time through a season you'd have plenty of followers here if you do decide to post!

I actually mis-typed...it was Chelsea. I edited it now. I did, however, get Arsenal in the next match!

I wondered about that, I thought maybe Arsenal had signed Oscar.
