"With an Automatic Promotion spot clinched already, many subs and younger players will be rotated in to suit up and start vs Doncaster, Manager Stumpf told the media today. The starters and main subs just went through a grueling season and they need a break and we would like to see what the reserve/youth players can do when given a chance.
While we do have a nice lead over 2nd place MK Dons we will not be scoreboard watching and want to win at least 2 of the final 5 games to clinch the Championship with no doubt.

"Chesterfield B team made up of mainly Reserve/Youth players lose to Doncaster 2-1 in tightly contested match. Chesterfield did put up a good fight with more chances but luck was not on their side as many of those chances went wide or hit off the post or crossbar. MK Dons title hopes still alive but they didn't capitalize on Chesterfield fielding a weaker team and losing as they only got a draw to pick up one point in the Championship race to pull within 9 points and only 4 games left in the season."

Chesterfield Clinch League 1 Title !!!!
Chesterfield have sealed up the League 1 championship with 2 games left. Manager Stumpf has said mainly reserves/youngsters will finish out the season giving the starters a well earned rest to enjoy what they accomplished. After the last game of the season at Bradford City , Chesterfield will hoist the Cup and also have a parade for fans the next day in Chesterfield.
