Player of the Month Announced

This award should be re-named to the Alex Cisek award as he wins it for the second month in a row. Leyton Orient's Australian goalkeeper happens to tend the net of the league's last place side who has given up the most amount of goals by far, yet he wins the player of the month. Something tells us his team could be doing EVEN WORSE if it weren't for him. He has continued his form with an average match rating of 8.10 through the entire season in his 14 matches played, including the preseason tournament.

Simpson Hoping to Break Duck

Ian Hendon has even more to think about as Jay Simpson's recent run of goalless games has undoubtedly shaken the Leyton Orient boss leading many to wonder if the 26-year-old striker will be starting the next game against Mansfield Town. It has been over a month since the striker has found the back of the net and this is concerning for Hendon considering the lack of depth in his squad.

Leaky Defense Leads to Losses

With both the most goals against in the league (18) and the worst goal differential (-9), Leyton Orient are looking anything but contenders for promotion. At the beginning of the season the talk around Brisbane Road was that of a promotion season to get back to League 1, however things have changed with a lack of production in front of goal and a leaky defense that is making mistake after mistake. Ian Hendon's seat must be heating up and he needs to change this run of form if he wants to see the January transfer window to improve his squad.
