Re: Love the Badge - Spurs Career (FIFA 16)

Transfer News

With the transfer window now open and the Spurs holding down a Champions League spot, they have decided to come out aggressive. Dealing with injuries for the first few months of the season it is clear that Tottenham need another attacker who can play on the wingers.

The board has also expressed concerns over the CB position, stating "if any injury were to occur, we are very thin on the back." Spurs have their two solid starters in Vertoghen and Alderwield with Wimmer as a back up. American Cameron Carter-Vickers is still at least a year away from being able to start in the PL but has shown great promise in the few cups games he played.

The Spurs number 1 target is:
Julian Draxler

The 22 year old German fits perfectly into Tottenham's system. He's young, aggressive, quick on the ball and very creative. Pairing Draxler in the middle with with Lamela and Eriksen would give the Spurs the attacking force they need behind Harry Kane.

Wolfsburg are not ready to let Draxler leave for cheap, placing a 24 million pound price tag on him. Spurs opened negotiations with an 18 million pound bid trying to lower the max offer.

For the CB position Tottenham are looking to go younger. Someone to match CCV and Wimmer and be able to grow and develop with the two. American John Anthony Brooks has been thrown around a few times as he already has the relationship with CCV but no real offer has been placed at this time.

Confirmed signings so far: Moussa Dembele, 19yr old from Fulham. Spurs already have 1 Dembele that they love so why not add a second? Moussa is a 19 year old striker from France who Tottenham have had their eye on for a few years now. Dembele might not see a lot of action in the PL this season but will be used in cups and late game subs in the Euro league.

Pre-Match - Coming off a 1-0 win vs Everton (game was not televised so no highlights) Spurs welcome Sunderland to White Hart Lane. Tottenham traveled to The Stadium of Light earlier this season and came away with a 3 -1 victory.

Spurs are looking for an easy win as Sunderland are one of the worst teams away from home this season. They are also one of the worst teams in the league period.

Injury Report - Son, Yedlin, Carter-Vickers

Hightlights

Post Match - Disappointment, embarrassment and frustration are words going around the grounds as Tottenham try to understand the loss they just experienced. Dominating every part of the match except for an early goal that ended up being enough. After Sunderland scored they dropped back and didn't try to attack the rest of the match, leaving Spurs to try attacking a 10 man box.

Re: Love the Badge - Spurs Career (FIFA 16)

Transfer Day Deadline

The transfer deadline is here and the Spurs are going to be happy with their results. Coming into the window Tottenham wanted another attacker and a solid backup CB, both of those were accomplished this window and fans could not be happier with the results.

Tottenham's number 1 target, Julian Draxler finally signed a deal after the $20 million transfer, the 22 year old will be making $80,000 a week putting him 6th on the Spurs roster. Draxler will fit right into the starting XI on the wing with Eriksen in the middle and Lamela on the left. Matches where Chadli starts, Draxler will move to the left as Lamela will go to the bench.

For the CB position, Tottenham signed 24 year old French Thimothee Kolodziejczak. TK is what he will be referred to for obvious reasons. Spurs came to a $3.8 million deal with Sevilla FC for the young CB. TK will be placed along side Wimmer as the back up CB pairing and will see plenty of auction in cup and EL matches.

For depth and a building project at ST, Tottenham signed Moussa Dembele from Fulham for $700,000. Dembele is only 19 years old and will see plenty of action in training and the occasional cup match. Due to Harry Kanes latest injury if Dembele shows promise he could be thrown in at the end of matches sooner than expected.

Loaned and Sold Players

CAM William Miller - Loaned to Doncaster
RM Emmanual Sonupe - Loaned to Oldham Athletic
CM Harry Winks - Loaned to Dag & Red

Other Key Transfers

Man U sign CM Thiago from FC Bayern for $30 million.
Juventus sign FB David Alaba for $32.5 million from FC Bayern.
Man City sign Benzema for $44 million from Real Madrid
Arsenal sign DM Blaise Matuidi for $23.5 million from PSG

Pre-Match - The first round of the FA cup have the Spurs traveling to Luton Town in what should be an easy victory. In what would normally be a "B" line up for Tottenham, Stlducks decided to play his main squad due to previous injuries. All XI starters have yet to play in a match together in over a month.

Julian Draxler will be making his Tottenham debut after coming over last week in the January transfer window.

Post Match - As expected the Spurs ran away with this match and had everthing going their way. The only negative from this match was the injury to Harry Kane who will be out for 4 weeks with an ankle injury.

Losing Kane for four weeks for an injury in a Cup game against lowly Lutton Town is rough.

Yea I wasn't going to play him but I wanted to see what my attack would be like with everyone healthy and thought Luton would be good practice...That backfired.

Lousy indeed but makes the game fun and unpredictable.

What's your plan now?
