Matchdays 8, 9 & 10 Update...
Lack of updates are due to me not being able to find my hand-written notes for matchday 8, 9 & 10. Found out my wife, or daughter, threw them out by mistake. So I am going to give just a quick update. Purchased a small journal book this weekend to keep my notes in, instead of on loose paper.
Score Updates:
Matchday 8: WIN vs Vancouver 5-2
Matchday 9: WIN vs Chicago 2-0
Matchday 10: LOSS vs San Jose 4-0
Quick Comments:
- Our 6 match unbeaten streak was snapped with an awful performance against San Jose.
- Have been experimenting with putting Steven Mendoza on the wing in the second half of matches for Khiry Shelton and moving Patrick Mullins up top as the second striker. It may be something we do to start matches in the future
- Definitely going to be looking to upgrade our central defenders and full backs come the July/August transfer window.
- David Villa continues to dominate the MLS with 10 goals and 5 assists through 10 matches.
- Andoni Iraola is back from injury and returned against San Jose...he still has a band-aid icon next to his name, but, he is able to play...but he may not be ready. He didn't play as well as he was before the injury
