F1 2016 - Career Mode - Ruffy's Formula 1 Career

Really enjoying F1 2016 on my PS4.

I have made some video highlights of my Career Mode racing on Expert for Renault (wanted a challenge to start off).

I do 100% qualifying and race distance. Which if you have the time for the races makes them really fun. The pit strategy and adjusting to the safety cars etc. Having a lot of fun.

Here is the first one.



Let me know if you'd like me to post as I go. I just finished Race 3 in China and now have a short qualifying session highlight video and a race highlights video as well.

It's a good to see a racing dynasty.

F1 2016 looks great in replay mode, some stunning visuals. Were you penalized for taking out the Red Bull?

My biggest criticism is that during the race I had no idea what place you were in. You might want to add some text or a voice over. At one point around the four minute mark from the on-board camera it looked like there was no one in front of you and then later all the cars are bunched up. Was there a yellow flag or something?

Thanks for the feedback. And yes in replay mode the game looks great....I love watching the whole field off the starts so much fun watching the cars shake out until the first turn.

I don't think i'm ready to voice over my stuff yet. I haven't totally ruled it out either....text would be great but not sure how easy it is to do in Final Cut Pro X.

That race there was a safety car at some point (in fact I'm allowed to pass it before the race restarts a few laps later)...which is why we were bunched up. My next videos have transitions in them so you can at least figure out that the race is progressing etc.

I will update the text on YouTube under the video to try and describe the race events better as well.

I was not penalized for that tap of Kyvat (likely should have been). I was lucky i didn't have damage to my rear tire there. I race using in-car view so to my defense i think he was in my blind spot after i took the turn wide.
