THE WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION (FROM THE GROUND UP)

The date is January 1, 1985. This is the date which I will be starting this journey doing my best to accurately and historically bring the WWF from 1985 to today while replaying house shows, PPV's and weekly shows.

I have spent a lot of time doing research and gathering resources to make this the best in terms of wrestlers, managers, announcers, ect.

However, because this is a sim replay (kind of), I have made some changes. In real life, (especially back in the 80's and early 90's) some wrestlers were wrestling sometimes 2 and 3 times a day. I will be doing one house show a day if there is one that way we move along from day to day and so there is not 18 shows in one day.

Just for the sake of sakeness, all records and wrestlers pre-1985 will be "forgotten" in the WWF. All title lengths and defenses gone, all titles are now vacant. A clear record book if you will.

The titles which will be up for grabs to start in 1985 are:

• WWF Championship
• WWF Hardcore Championship
• WWF Intercontinental Championship
• WWF U.S. Title
• WWF Tag Titles
• WWF Women's Championship

I plan on jumping right into the first house show of 1985. Wrestlers will debut when they are supposed to and when they are relevant to that era. I will not be adding any WCW/ECW/TNA story lines, I am going to just have one Federation, the WWF and incorporate those wrestlers into it when they eventually made their debuts or when I see fit. There will be a few surprises every now and again.

I like the concept but if you are going for a realistic timeline rosters shouldn't you go with realistic titles for the timeline as well. I wouldn't do Hardcore OR United States Titles personally as it seems a bit odd if you are going realistic with the roster. Maybe add US in at some point but Hardcore wrestling didn't really even come into play until the mid/late 90s.

Agreed with Wis. Absolutely love the concept, but I think for the sake of your thinking it should have relevant titles for the eras.

I think though I am going to keep the titles the way they are. I know the Hardcore or U.S. titles weren't around until later but I like the thought of having them.
