We have just been informed that while the season championship will be passed to the new champion, the World Championships will be defended on a special PPV at the end of every season against the new season champion. If a current World Champion remains season champion, then they will not have to defend the World Championship. The World Championships have a silver and gold color scheme, while the seasonal champions will carry the blue and silver championships. There will no longer be a different color scheme for different seasons. The World Championships that are in play at the end of every season are as follows: World Team Challenge League (Main, Mid, Tag), World Championship, World Tag Team, World Cruiserweight, and World Women's. The Intercontinental, United States, NXT, NXT Tag, NXT Women's, Cruiserweight Tag, and Women's Tag are seasonal titles only. Now they have basically lost two matches in a row and look completely out of whack. Can they get things together quickly in this season? - When Paul Heyman announced that the Killer Elite Squad would be coming in as his tag team representative, many people were ready to crown them the favorites. After Brock Lesnar somewhat shockingly lost to Flair people were talking that Team Heyman might be all hype, but then Heyman pulled off another huge surprise and brought Cody Rhodes in to represent him. - The 4H can’t be happy with their showing but they did face one of the favorites in the league. They were unable to move further ahead in their division though. - The Wyatt Family picked up a huge 8-man tag win after their draw in a Series match. They now have 6 points in their division of a possible 8 so far for them. - The Fabulous Freebirds once again looked really good but couldn’t pull off the win in the end and results have been disappointing so far.
