Re: World Elite Wrestling - WWE 2k Universe Mode
We're hopping right into the action this week, an 8-man over the top rope battle royal to determine the #1 contender to the Junior Elite Championship. Match #1 - Jr Elite Championship #1 Condenders - Johnny Elite vs. Chris Sabin vs. Rich Swann vs. Simon Grimm vs. Mike Kanellis vs. Kota Ibushi vs. Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Matt Sydal Order of eliminations:
Johnny Elite has won it! With 3 eliminations he's earned a shot at the Junior Elite Championship. He grabs a microphone after the match. Elite: That wasn't easy, but rest assured that Johnny Elite is coming for his throne. By the end of tonight it's either gonna be- Elite is cut off by an attack from behind by Rich Swann, Mike Kanellis, and Grimm! The 3 men he eliminated in the match! They beat him down in an attack out of pure frustration. --- Backstage The Briscoes are cutting a promo to the camera Jay: Young Bucks! Tick tock boys your time is up! Mark: Nah I ain't GOT time for this. Tell the Young Bucks their *** is ours. Save it for the match. Mark hits the camera with his hand and the screen goes black going into commercial. --- Match #2 - Dave Mastiff vs. Kassius Ohno As Ohno comes down to the ring, Mastiff comes from behind and lays him out! Mastiff Hits a devastating Senton on the outside onto Ohno and leaves, the match never starts. No contest --- Match #3 - The Mighty vs. G.O.D An extremely competitive match between the two teams with multiple close calls and pin breaks. It ends with Tama Tonga taking out Nick Miller on the outside, then Tanga Loa throwing Shane Thorne onto Tama Tongas shoulders for a samoan drop. G.O.D wins by pinfall --- Austin Aries, who's recently begun a rivalry with Dolph Ziggler, comes down to the ring. Ziggler is not present for tonights show due to a family emergency. Aries: Well, well, well! Last week Dolph Ziggler was all talk, telling people that he was gonna show up here tonight and find me so he could beat me up. Well... I'm here, and I'm challenging Dolph Ziggler to a match right now! No answer Aries: Well there you have it, Dolph Ziggler is not only a liar, he's a coward as well. You know what though, we'll give him another chance! Dolph, come out here and let's have ourselves a match! ...still nothing Aries: Well there you have it! Your winner by forfeit, Austin Aries! Better luck next time Dolph. --- Jay Lethal comes down to the ring to issue his open challenge. Lethal: Johnny Elite I saw you earlier and I can't wait to step in the ring with you, but in the meantime you have some problems of your own to deal with, and I have something I have to do here tonight. I'm ready to defend this belt now! So who's it gonna be? After a few seconds Cody's music hits! Trailed by Bad Luck Fale Cody comes down to the ring. Match #4 - Jr Elite Championship - Jay Lethal © vs. Cody Both men lay it all on the line in this contest. Early on it's all Cody, but Lethal mounts an epic comeback. He kicks out of a Dark Matter and a Cross Rhodes. The end comes off a distraction from Bad Luck Fale allowing Cody to hit a second Cross Rhodes and get a shocking victory! Cody wins and is the NEW Junior Elite Champion Cody scurries out the ring and up the ramp with Fale and his championship! A frustrated Jay Lethal looks on devastated in the ring. A shocking turn of events here tonight. --- Match #5 - Tag Team Championships - Tornado Tag - The Young Bucks vs. The Briscoe Brothers These two teams absolutely tear the house down. The match begins with The Bucks running up the ramp and throwing fists with The Briscoe Brothers. It's chaos from that point on. Fists and bodies flying everywhere. Multiple finishers are hit, and multiple pins are broken. It's mostly the Bucks who have control early on. There's a point where both Young Bucks have both Briscoe Brothers in a sharpshooter at the same time. It's looking like they may tap, but they both manage to escape. The Briscoes take control for a while with some masterful tornado tag wrestling. They have each others back perfectly. Jay hit's a Jay Driller on Matt Jackson, 1-2... Nick barely breaks it up! He lays out Jay with a superkick. Mark runs in and comes at Nick, and clotheslines Nick out of the ring. Matt gets up and sends Mark out of the ring. He goes up top and hits a 450 splash on Jay Briscoe. 1-2-3! Bucks win! The Young Bucks win the wEw Tag Team Championships Bullet Club rushes the ring. Fale, G.O.D, and new Junior Elite Champion Cody. They celebrate with their belts as the show goes off the air. A clean sweep for Bullet Club!

Re: World Elite Wrestling - WWE 2k Universe Mode
The show starts with a backstage cam. Dolph Ziggler and Austin Aries are in an all out brawl by catering. A bunch of security and refs run in to break it up. Dolph is screaming at Aries that he's gonna kill him him when he gets his hand on him. --- Match #1 - Simon Grimm, Rich Swann, Mike Kanellis vs. Johnny Elite, Zack Sabre Jr., Chris Sabin The match begins as fairly competitive. However, when Johnny Elite tags in and it's looking like he's about to get the win over Kanellis, Grimm and Swann run in and attack him getting their team DQ'd Elite, Sabre, & Sabin win by DQ The heel team gets run off by Sabre and Sabin, but they got some good shots in on Elite. They seem happy with the result. --- Dave Mastiff comes down for a promo Mastiff: My name is Dave Mastiff, and I'm gonna take this chance to explain my actions last week involving Kassius Ohno. Two weeks ago I faces Ohno, I beat him 1-2-3 in the middle of this ring. Bottom line, end of story, you don't get a rematch. When I saw last week that he was granted another shot, I took matters into my own hands. So now, when- Kassius Ohno's music hits and he comes down to the ring. Ohno: Dave when you beat me two weeks ago I had nothing but respect for you. You pinned me 1-2-3 no gripes to be had, but last week you proved what you really are, a coward. You go no sportsmanship and no respect for the game son, that's- Mastiff hits Ohno over the head with his microphone! He hit's that huge senton on Ohno and the ref has to pull him off. Mastiff: Let this serve as a message to anybody in the wEw roster! Dave Mastiff is not playing games! --- Match #2 - Jay Lethal vs. Bad Luck Fale (with The Young Bucks & Cody) Jay Lethal is pissed off after Fale cause him to lose his championship to Cody last week. He comes right at Fale, and there's multiple point where he would've won if it weren't for distraction by the Bucks and Cody. Eventually Fale is able to take advantage and hit Bad Luck Fall for the cheap win. Fale wins by pinfall Bullet Club celebrates in the ring when a frustrated Jay Lethal runs in and starts throwing punches, effectively throwing himself to the wolves! BC beats down Lethal for a while when The Briscoe Brothers run down and make the save, sending Fale, Cody and The Bucks packing. --- Backstage Dolph Ziggler is in the trainers room getting treated for a busted lip. Eddie Edwards walks in. Edwards: Everything alright Dolph? Ziggler: You know Austin Aries right? From TNA? Do me a favor and tell him that when I see him, I'm gonna hurt him really, really bad. Edwards: Well I was actually gonna tell you that I saw what happened with him and you, and that I have a match against him next week where I'm gonna take care of him. Ziggler: Good, and when you're done expect to see me there. --- Match #3 - Rhyno & Holly vs. The Golden Lovers Last time we saw Holly and Rhyno they lost a handicap match against Matt Riddle. Naturally they had no chance against The Golden Brothers despite some offense. Omega hits a V-Trigger on Holly then tags Ibushi who hits a Phoenix Splash and wins it The Golden Lovers win by pinfall --- Match #4 - Zack Ryder vs. Moose The debut for the big man Moose. A dominating display as Moose wins with a spear after barely taking any damage from Ryder. Moose wins by pinfall --- Match #5 - Okada vs. Big Cass (with Eli Drake) A surprisingly good competitive match made even more competitive by the constant interference of Eli Drake. The end comes when Okada hits the second Rainmaker of the contest, and pins Big Cass. Drake attempts to grab the ref but he can't reach, and Okada wins. Okada wins by pinfall Drake and Cass start moving up the ramp, Cass stumbling. Drake has a mic. Drake: Okada! We're coming up on two months in wEw and you still haven't defended that belt. What do you say you step in the ring with me, E-li Drake, and we see what kind of champion you really are. Okada nods in acceptance and it looks like we have next weeks main event set. ---

Re: World Elite Wrestling - WWE 2k Universe Mode
We start with shots of Okada and Eli Drake warming up backstage for their world title match later tonight. Big Cass will be banned from ringside for that contest. --- Match #1 - Bullet Club (Cody & The Young Bucks) vs. Jay Lethal & The Briscoe Brothers Two rivalries come to a head here. Lethal is aggressive whenever he's in the ring with Cody, and The Briscoe Brothers have a lot to prove against The Bucks. This extra motivation propels the face team to victory as they wrestle an amazing match. Lethal gets his team the win with Lethal Injection on Nick Jackson. Lethal & The Briscoes win by pinfall They grab a mic as BC heads up the ramp with their belts. Jay Briscoe: Woah before you head your asses back home and weep about this L, keep in mind we coming for all that gold. Mark: Hell yeah, and Cody you did our boy JL dirty pretty boy. Lethal: Cody, it's only a matter of time before your time is up! --- Match #2 - The Mighty vs. G.O.D Another highly competitive match between these two teams. G.O.D ends up picking up the win for the second time in a row over The Mighty, helping increase BC's momentum. G.O.D wins by pinfall --- Austin Aries is being interviewed backstage Interviewer: Austin you have an upcoming match with Eddie Edwards, does that fact that Dolph Ziggler is hunting you down play into your psyche at all? Aries: No, not at all. It doesn't bother me. I'm gonna go out there and do what Austin Aries does best, win matches. Just like I did two weeks ago when I beat Dolph Ziggler by forfeit. And if Dolph has a problem with me, I invite him to handle it after the fact. --- Match #3 - Austin Aries vs. Eddie Edwards A solid contest here. Both men get a fair amount of offense in. It's one slip up that allows Aries to plant Edwards with a neckbreaker and then lock in Last Chancery for the victory. Austin Aries wins by submission Immediately after the match Dolph Ziggler runs down the ring! Aries slips out and high tails it before Ziggler can get his hands on him. He grabs a mic on top of the stage. Aries: Well looks like once again Dolph is too slow... sorta like whatever happened with that family emergency you had two weeks ago. Dolph's eyes light up and he goes to chase Aries, who is already long gone by the time he's up the stage. --- Match #4 - Kassius Ohno vs. WALTER The debuting WALTER is the perfect opponent for Ohno, two hard hitting big men and expert strikers. This is one of the best wEw matches in a while as they beat the absolute hell out of each other. Ohno wins with an elbow to the back of the head, but Walter was awesome for his debut match. Ohno wins by pinfall Ohno celebrates, a clear message sent to Dave Mastiff. --- Match #5 - Johnny Elite vs. Simon Grimm (with Eli Drake) Grimm is part of a group of men that have been making Johnny Elites life way harder ever since he won the 8 man battle royal two weeks ago. Elite gets some retribution here as he hits Starship Pain and pins Grimm 1-2-3. Elite wins by pinfall Just as he gets the win Kanellis and Swann hit the ring. They attack Elite. Grimm joins in, but Sabre Jr. and Sabin hit the ring and clean house, saving Elite. --- Match #6 - Elite Heavyweight Championship - Okada © vs. Eli Drake Main event time! The first ever Elite Heavyweight Championship title defense. This match is a coming out party for Eli Drake. He is more than impressive as he gives Okada a hell of a hard hitting fight. Drake manages to hit Blunt Force Trauma, but Okada kicks out. Okada hits a tombstone piledriver, but Drake hangs on by rope break. Okada throws caution into the wind diving out of the ring to hit Drake. Drake wrestles a hard hitting aggressive style. Still, the pure skill and ability of Okada shines through. He hits a Rainmaker and beats Drake. Okada is still Elite Heavyweight Champion Okada celebrates, when the music of Matt Riddle hits! He comes out to the stage. Riddle: Another awesome match from Okada! Okada, you've been unstoppable since wEw started... but so have I. It's only a matter of time before it's me and you in that ring, for that belt. Okada and Riddle stare each other down from across the arena, when Drake comes from behind and lays out Okada with a low blow kick! Drake leaves and Okada is left writhing as wEw goes off the air. |

Re: World Elite Wrestling - WWE 2k Universe Mode
The show starts with commentator Jim Ross in the ring, the crowd is chanting his name. Ross: Thank you ladies and gentlemen and welcome to World Elite Wrestling! The crowd pops Ross: Now the reason I'm out here is to make a couple of announcements. Firstly, it is an honor and privilege to announce that wEw will be holding its first ever IPPV! It will take place right here in this arena in New York, and it will be called "wEw: Making a Name" The crowd again pops for this announcement Ross: But that's not all. Okada's opponent for his worlds championship will be decided in tonights main event. It's gonna be Matt Riddle going one on one with... DOLPH ZIGGLER! The crowd gives their largest reaction to the announcement of this blockbuster main event. Ross: Enjoy the show everyone! --- Backstage is Eli Drake and Big Cass talking to the camera. Drake: Last week I proved to the world something we already all knew. I proved that me, E-li Drake, can beat Okada. Did I do it, no, but I came damn close and next time you bet your *** I'll finish the job. Cass: And lets not forget that parting gift you left him with afterwards. He was getting a little too "ballsy" with those outside dives and all that other nonsense. Drake: Damn right, and just know that we're not done with Okada, and we haven't even started with the damage we're gonna do here in wEw. Just watch us. --- Match #1 - Junior Elite Championship - Johnny Elite vs. Cody © Elite finally gets his shot at gold here. It's a solid match up with even amounts of offense on both sides. Broken up however by Simon Grimm, Kanellis, and Rich Swann who come and try to cost Elite the match. Chris Sabin and Sabre Jr. have Elites back again though as they fight them off. Still, it's enough to take Elite's eyes off of Cody, who hit's Crossrhodes and retains. Cody is STILL Junior Elite Champion
Spoiler
Elite is irate at this point. Later tonight, Sabre and Sabin will face Swann and Kanellis in a tornado tag match, a chance at payback on Elites behalf. --- Match #2 - The Briscoe Brothers vs. G.O.D G.O.D has been on a roll, but their momentum is cut short here by a very motivated Briscoe Brothers as they look to become the #1 contenders headed into Making a Name. They succeed by pinning a BC team and sending a message to The Bucks. The win comes with a Jay Driller followed by a tag to Mark who hits a diving elbow from the top for the win. The Briscoe Brothers win by pinfall --- Dolph Ziggler is being interviewed backstage Interviewer: Dolph with all that's been going on these past few weeks, you finally have another chance to get a shot at Okada, what does that mean to you. Ziggler: Austin Aries has been trying to hard to get some attention, to get some spotlight on himself. He resorts to crap like what he's been doing because he knows he's just not good enough to beat me 1 on 1. I'm gonna deal with him later though. For now my focus is 100% on Matt Riddle tonight, and getting that shot. --- Match #3 - Dave Mastiff vs. Walter Last week Walter lost in his debut in an awesome match with Ohno. This is another hard hitting battle similar to that one, but this time Mastiff is a little quicker in putting away Walter. He wins with a rib cracking senton off the middle rope. Mastiff wins by pinfall Mastiff after the match is about to leave, but decides instead to hit Walter with another senton! Kassius Ohnos music hits and he runs down to the ring. Ohno and Mastiff throw hands at each other. Fists flying everywhere. It takes about 20 security guards to separate these two giant men as the show goes to commercial. --- Match #4 - Tornado Tag - Sabin & Sabre Jr. vs. Rich Swann & Mike Kanellis Sabre in the ring, Sabin is making his way down to the ring when Kanellis and Swann attack him from behind on the stage. Sabre runs down and it's an all out brawl on the stage! No contest Simon Grimm comes out to aid the attack. That's when Jonny Elite runs out wielding a kendo stick and sends all the heels running. He grabs a mic. Elite: You three are the weakest, most cowardly group I've ever seen in my life. Next week we challenge you to a No DQ tornado 6-Man tag. You wanna prove you're all worth a damn, we're gonna find out! --- Match #5 - Crime Time vs. The Daivari Brothers (with Eli Drake) A display of pretty basic tag team wrestling. The Brothers get the heat on JTG who eventually makes the hot tag to Shad. Shad runs wild and wins with Thugnificent on Shawn Daivari. Crime Time's first wEw win. Crime Time wins by pinfall --- Match #6 - Elite Heavyweight Championship #1 Contenders - Riddle vs. Ziggler An awesome match for as long as it lasts. There's a long feeling out process and the crowd is way into it. Ziggler actually manages to get the advantage early on. He's cut off by bursts of offense by Riddle, but every time Ziggler manages to wrestle him down. At one point he even hits his signature 10 elbows The match continues, momentum is traded back and forth. Ziggler hits a superkick out of nowhere on Riddle, when all of the sudden Austin Aries music hits! Ziggler and the ref are both distracted, Riddle is down. Ziggler turns around and Austin Aries is in the ring with a baseball bat! Aries cracks Ziggler over the head with the bat, then scurries out and under the ring before the ref can see. Riddle didn't see any of it, but he sees Ziggler on the floor. He crawls over and puts his hand over him. 1-2-3! Riddle wins by pinfall Matt Riddle is the #1 contender for Okada at Making a Name! A smug Aries walks out of the arena without ever looking back. Ziggler is completely unconscious still. A confused Riddle gets his hand raised as he tries to figure out what just happened.

Re: World Elite Wrestling - WWE 2k Universe Mode
*Note that after last weeks attack by Austin Aries, Dolph Ziggler will miss the next few shows with a concussion.* Four weeks away from the Making a Name IPPV, tonights show comes with a promise of "less talk, more action" and we're getting right into it! --- Match #1 - Dave Mastiff vs. Kassius Ohno vs. Walter vs. Chris Masters This rivalry between Mastiff and Ohno continues, now with Walter getting dragged into the mix. This match is the debut of Chris Masters in wEw as well. It's an amazingly physical matchup between 4 of wEw's biggest wrestlers. Mastiff and Masters seem to team up at multiple points of the match on both Walter and Ohno. Ohno and Mastiff are more focused on beating the hell out of each other than anything else. They brawl on the outside allowing Masters to lock in the Master lock on Walter and win the match. Masters wins by submission --- Match #2 - Jay Lethal vs. Shelton Benjamin This is an awesome back and forth contest. An impressive showing for both men, but especially Jay Lethal who kicks out of 2 Paydirts and hits Lethal Injection for the win. Jay Lethal wins by pinfall Some momentum for Lethal who wants desperately to be the man to challenge Cody for the Junior Elite Title at Making a Name. --- Mastiff approaches Chris Masters backstage, who is icing his shoulder. Mastiff: Very, very impressive out there. Luckily for you I wasn't worried as much about winning as I was beating down Kassius Ohno. Masters: Well I was worried about winning. I've wrestled in a lot of places, but I haven't lived up to my potential like I know I can. Now that all changes. Mastiff: I can respect that lad, and I respect your performance tonight. Perhaps you and I having each others backs is something beneficial for the both of us. Something to think about. Mastiff walks off. --- Match #3 - Big Cass (with Eli Drake vs. Kota Ibushi) Cass has another above average match here, he's been impressive when put in the ring with the great Japanese talent in wEw. He dodges a Pheonix Splash. Ibushi gets up and recovers well, but Drake jumps on the apron distracting him. This allows Cass to hit a running Big Boot to the face of Ibushi and steal a victory. Cass wins by pinfall After the match Drake and Cass grab mics. Cass: THAT IS HOW IT'S DONE! Drake: We said it last week, we'll say it again. We are coming for the wEw roster, and it starts with people like Kota Ibushi Unknown voice: WOAH, WOAH, WOAH, WOAH! Cass and Drake look around confused, when Kenny Omega emerges from backstage. Omega: All I've seen from you two is a couple of distraction victories, and a kick to the nuts of someone you just lost to. Hell, I don't think you've won a match yet Eli! Drake: Well you can put that IC title on the line and we'll settle it real quick dummy! Omega: You've had one too many free title shots already dummy. But what you can do is meet me and Ibushi in a tag match next week, and we'll see what you're really made of. Cass: Challenge accepted. And we're gonna make an example out of the two of yous, Just watch us! --- Match #4 - Crime Time vs. The Mighty Highly competitive tag team action. The Mighty do a great job of textbook tag wrestling as they isolate JTG, but eventually JTG is able to get over to Big Shad and make the tag. Shad runs wild on Thorne and Miller, and eventually hits Thugnificent on Thorne for the win. Crime Time wins by pinfall Shad is a monster! Second win in consecutive weeks for Crime Time --- Match #5 - Austin Aries vs. Eddie Edwards (with Eli Drake) Edwards is coming down the ring when Aries comes down wielding a baseball bat. He attacks Edwards and lays him out. The match is called off. No contest Aries gets a microphone Aries: In case Eddie Edwards, Dolph Ziggler, or all you fans haven't realized it yet, Austin Aries is not playing around. I'm coming for every damn title in this company, and anyone who steps in my way is getting kicked to the curb! --- Match #6 - No DQ Tornado 6 man tag - Simon Grimm, Mike Kanellis, & Rich Swann vs. Johnny Elite, Chris Sabin, & Zack Sabre Jr. A violent rivalry in the Junior Elite Division comes to a head here. This match is absolutely chaotic, and awesome as a result. Bodies were thrown into the steel guardrail, into the steps, and into the steel ringpost. Sabin hit Grimm over the head with the steps. Kanellis locked in an Anaconda Vice on Sabre that looked like it may end it, but Sabre escaped The match ends when Rich Swann brings a steel chair in the ring and cracks all three opponents with it. Swann heads up and hits the Pheonix Splash on Elite. 1-2-3! The heel team pulls off the upset! Grimm, Kanellis, & Swann win by pinfall The heels stand in the ring over the chaos and the bodies of their fallen opponents. I don't think anyone saw this coming. They stand in the ring confidently together. Is this makeshift group the next big thing in the Junior Elite Division? |

Re: World Elite Wrestling - WWE 2k Universe Mode
*3 weeks away from Making a Name* The show begins with the World Champion Okada's entrance. He grabs a mic in the ring, but before he can say a word he's interrupted by #1 contender Matt Riddle who comes down to the ring. Riddle: Sorry to interrupt you bro-man, but I have to say that despite the way I won the #1 contendership, we're here now, and I'm ready to take that championship off your shoulder. Okada: *english subtitles* You don't interrupt me. You NEVER interrupt me. A translator relays this to Riddle Riddle: Hey man like I said there was no disrespect intended. But hell we have to fight in three weeks anyway, if you're really that put off we sure as hell can fight right now. Okada and Riddle staredown and it's looking like things might get physical, but they're cut off by Hardcore Holly's theme. He comes out to the stage with Rhyno. Holly: Hey you little punk *** kid, don't think for a second we're done with you. We haven't forgotten that fluke you pulled off last month, and you sure as hell don't deserve a world title shot. Riddle: Is that right? So what are you trying to say bro? Holly: I'm saying the two of you can either run or get a ref, cause we're coming down there to send a message. --- Match #1 - Tornado Tag - Holly & Rhyno vs. Matt Riddle & Okada Riddle and Okada absolutely run through Holly and Rhyno. Okada wins it with a Rainmaker on Holly in no time. Riddle & Okada win by pinfall After the match Riddle and Okada bump backs. They turn around and square up, but they both decide now's not the time to fight. The crowd wants it though. --- Match #2 - Junior Elite #1 Contenders - Jay Lethal vs. Simon Grimm vs. Mike Kanellis vs. Rich Swann Grimm Kanellis and Swann earned this shot after the events of last week. Lethal is thrown to the wolves against these three. They team on him early and throughout the match, but everyone wants to win. Pin attempts drive a fork in this alliance, and it becomes a normal fatal four way. Lethal gets teamed on and thrown outside the ring. The other men fight in the ring for a bit while Lethal bides his time. He gets back in the ring and cleans house, throwing out Swann and Grimm. He hits Lethal Injection on Kanellis for the impossible win! Jay Lethal wins by pinfall Lethal against all odds wins and finally gets his shot at the man who cheated him, Cody. --- Match #3 - Dave Mastiff & Chris Masters vs. Kassius Ohno & Walter Last week we saw Mastiff approach Masters about a potential alliance. This week we see the start of thatvas they take on Mastiffs rivals Ohno and Walter. This is exactly what you'd expect, a hard hitting brawl. In the end Mastiff gets the pin with a big splash on Walter. Mastiff & Masters wins by pinfall After the match Ohno is checking on Walter. Mastiff approaches Masters and mouths something. He points at Ohno. Masters nods and walks over to Ohno. Masters locks in the Master Lock on Ohno! He keeps it on till Ohno is lifeless, and throws him on the mat. Mastiff & Masters celebrate. --- Backstage, Johnny Elite, Chris Sabin, and Zack Sabre Jr. are in the locker room talking. Elite: Things haven't exactly gone our way these past few weeks, but I appreciate you guys having my back. Sabre: You know speaking of these past few weeks I have to be honest. Helping you out has derailed me, and added tally marks in the loss column that quite frankly don't belong there. Sabin and Elite look on somewhat surprised Sabre: Look, there's no hard feelings. I'm just thinking it's time for Zack Sabre Jr. to get back on track and start worrying about himself just a little more. And it starts tonight against you Chris. I'll see you out there. Sabin: Yeah... I will see you out there. Sabin faces Sabre Jr. later tonight. --- Match #4 - Cody (with The Young Bucks) vs. Mark Briscoe (with Jay Briscoe A great back and forth contest. Mark proves he can hang with the likes of the Junior Elite Champion in singles competition, but it's ruined by interference by the Bucks allowing Cody to hit Crossrhodes and win. Cody wins by pinfall Jay steps in the ring pissed off, and a 3 on 2 brawl breaks out. It's evened out by Jay Lethal who runs down! The fight goes on for a while, but eventually the Bullet Club decides to cut their losses and scurry away. --- Match #5 - Chris Sabin vs. Zack Sabre Jr. Before the match, the two men shake hands as a sign of respect. Once the bell rings however, it's on. They throw everything they have at each other here. Sabin a multitude of quick running strikes and dives, Sabre pulls out his arsenal of submissions that Sabin manages to escape. At one point Sabin pulls out a surprisingly devastating move when he DDT's Sabre Jr. on the ring apron! Sabre is thrown for a loop after that. The match continues as usual however. The end comes with ZSJ locking in a viscous Guillotine Choke forcing Sabin to tap. Zack Sabre Jr. wins by submission Sabre celebrates but looks slightly annoyed for some reason. The show goes to commercial. --- Backstage Sabre approaches Sabin in the locker room. Sabre: You gonna explain what the hell that was?! Sabin: What are you talking about? It was an awesome match and you won. Sabre: DDT'ing me headfirst on the apron. So much for a friendly match I guess? Sabin: Dude it was a heat of the moment thing and I've had much worse done to me by friends in a wrestling ring before. We're all trying to win right? Sabre: Damn right, and you still lost so what's that show? Sabin stands up Sabin: Listen I told you it was a great match, and you won. I don't know what you're so hot about. But if you think for a second I can't beat you you're dead wrong, and we can do this again next week. Sabre nods and walks off angrily. --- Teams in synergy for out main event! Match #6 - Drake & Cass vs. The Golden Lovers Drake and Cass have been training, that's for sure as they put up one hell of a fight against the more experienced Golden Lovers. We see textbook tag wrestling with quick tags from both sides and isolation by he heels. In the end Omega is in the ring with Cass, when Drake sneaks around and knocks Ibushi off the apron. This distracts Omega for a split second, allowing Cass to hit his third running big boot of the match on Omega to finally win it! Drake & Cass win by pinfall An absolutely shocking upset here tonight! Drake and Cass celebrate, Cass just pinned the Intercontinental Champion! |
