Week 7 of Monday Night Main Event brought us action in the World Cruiserweight, World Tag, and Menís Team Challenge League.

World CW League:
- In the Cruiserweight League, we saw action in division 1, between Aryai Davari, Cedric Alexander, and TJP. Coming into the match, Daivari held a 1-point lead over Alexander with TJP 4 points behind. The end of the match saw Alexander leaning in the corner after a dropkick from TJP. TJP delivered the Detonation Kick to Daivari but as he got up Alexander delivered a Lumbar Check to TJP and tossed him out of the ring before pinning Daivari.

World Tag League:
- In the first World Tag League Match we saw The Hardys face off with Titus Worldwide. The Hardys were looking to lock up the division. Apollo Crews held his own against Team Extreme, but The Hardys were too much for Titus and they delivered Whispered the Wind in the corner but Apollo tagged in. Apollo once again held his own but with Titus basically out on his feet it was too much for Crews and the Hardys delivered a Twist of Fate/Swanton combo for the win.
- The BAR came out fighting in this one and never looked back from the time the bell rang. They quickly took Fandango out of the match and delivered an elevated Brogue Kick to Breeze for the win.

Menís World TCL:
- In the Menís TCL, we saw the New Day face off with the Wyatt Family. The New Day have had an overall disappointing season, while the Wyatts are fighting for a potential division title.
- In tag action we saw Big E and Kofi face off with Harper and Rowan. This is the one place that the New Day has actually performed the best. If they can get the other parts clicking, they should be able to compete for that Wild Card spot. Harper and Rowan came out with a lot of aggression. New Day was able to battle out of the early onslaught. Kofi took Rowan over the top rope with a dropkick as Big E picked up Harper. Kofi quickly went to the turnbuckle and delivered Midnight Hour and then a slingshot cross body over the top rope onto Rowan as the 3 count was made.
- Bray Wyatt was not happy after the loss by Harper and Rowan and he took it out on Woods early delivering.
- After the singles match ended the lights went out and when they came back on Harper and Rowan appeared in the ring and the Wyatts triple teamed Woods until the rest of New Day made their way down to the ring. The early advantage wasnít enough for the Wyatts as the New Day fought back and Kofi pinned Rowan after hitting Trouble in Paradise on the big man.

Which League each of these superstars will be in is still unknown, but the confirmation of so many new superstars for next season is exciting.

We have heard rumors of several international and independent stars for Season 2 but those are not confirmed yet.

There are many rumors out there of several superstars that will not be taking part in season 2 as well.

We also know that there has been some huge talk about all 4 Team Challenge Leagues expanding and becoming more of a focus of Season 2.

From WWLeague.com
Quote:
This week on World Championship Wednesday we were given a Triple Threat match in division 2 of the CW League a World Tag League Match and 4 Menís World HW League.

World Cruiserweight League:
- In the World CW League, we saw a division 2 matchup between Tozawa, Mysterio, and Dar. Coming into the night Tozawa, who won the first two matches this season but got pinned last week, held a slim 1-point lead over Mysterio with Dar sitting 1 point behind Mysterio after his stunning win two weeks ago when he pinned Tozawa. It is still anyoneís game in this division heading into tonight. In the end, Mysterio delivered the 619 to Tozawa but Dar followed it up by tossing Mysterio out of the ring and getting a 2-count after a Nova Roller on Tozawa. Mysterio got back in and delivered Droppiní Da Dime on Dar for the win.

World Tag League:
- In the World Tag League, we saw the Authors of Pain face off with Titus Worldwide. With a win the AoP would clinch a playoff spot as they would be 2 points ahead with only one Triple Threat remaining, but would own a 2-0 head to head record against Titus and Apollo. The big men came out strong in this match looking to end things early but they were undisciplined and in the end Rezar got distracted outside the ring fighting with Titus as Crews delivered a standing moonsault, standing shooting star press combination on Akam for the huge win.

World HW Championship League:
- Samoa Joe faced off with Kevin Owens in a huge divisional matchup in division 4. Joe was looking to take full control of the division while Owens was looking to tighten things up. Joe delivered a Muscle Buster but Owens was able to kick up. Joe got in the face of the ref which allowed Owens to get up and then deliver a cannonball followed by a pop-up powerbomb
- In the next match we saw Chris Jericho face off with John Cena. Cena has had a shockingly bad season and is still looking for his first win of the season, while Jericho was looking to keep pace with Orton in points. In the end, Jericho picked up a big win after delivering the Code Breaker.
- The next match featured Brock Lesnar facing Big Show. Big Show started the season 2-0 but has since lost back to back matches and is trying to get back on the winning track with the season winding down. In the end, Brock was once again too much for the Big Show and delivered an F-5 for the win.
- In the main event, AJ Styles faced off with Dolph Ziggler in a match where Styles could lock up the division and the overall #1 seed in conference 2 following Joeís loss. Styles delivered a Phenomenal Forearm followed by the Styles Clash for the win.

Week 7 of Thursday Night Takeover brought us matches in 4 of 5 NXT Leagues.

NXT Womenís League:
- The womenís NXT League brought us a match between Nikki Cross and Aliyah. While there was nothing but pride on the line for Aliyah, Cross was looking to continue her undefeated season. Cross delivered The Purge to make short work of Aliyah.

NXT North American League:
- Velveteen Dream faced off with Bram in the NA League. Bram needed wins in both of his remaining matches to have any chance at the league title, while Dream was looking to take a lead with 2 weeks to go in the league. In the end, Dream delivered the Purple Rainmaker Elbow for the big win.

NXT League:
- In the NXT League we saw Roderick Strong face off with Aleister Black. Strong was looking to tie Almas atop the division, while Black was looking to stay in potential contention with a big win. Strong delivered a big backbreaker, but Black kicked out and took Strong down before delivering Black Mass.
- Prior to the next match, commissioner Rainier Wilz came out to the stage and said that the shenanigans Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano had been playing were done and if Gargano showed his face anywhere in the arena that Ciampa would be immediately disqualified. He also said that he would be sitting ringside. During the match, Garganoís music hit the speakers and Commissioner Wilz went to the ramp side of the ring. This also distracted Sullivan and the ref and allowed Ciampa to deliver a low blow before rolling up Sullivan for the win.

NXT Team Challenge League:
- In the NXT TCL, we saw British Strong Style face off with the Forgotten Sons. Neither of these teams is in contention for the league title so this match was for pride and momentum heading into next season for whatever league they compete in.
- In tag action, Mustache Mountain faced off with Cutler and Blake and the Sons came out looking for a big win. They attacked MM prior to the bell and looked to take full control of the match, but MM fought back and delivered the diving knee drop/burning hammer combination to Cutler.
- In singles action, Pete Dunne and Jaxon Ryker faced off in a brawl that went in and out of the ring. In the end, Dunne was able to deliver the Bitter End for the win.
- As soon as the singles match ended, Cutler and Blake ran down and began triple teaming Dunne until Moustache Mountain came in and the 6-man match began. British Strong Styles was able to fight back and Bate delivered the Tyler Driver í97 on Blake for the win.
- After the match, BSS stood in the ring and grabbed some microphones. They began talking about how fun this league was, but they all have some other aspirations and that they have still not decided if they will be returning to the NXT TCL or heading in separate directions to different leagues. As this happened, the lights went out and some music hit. When the lights came back on, three large men were standing behind them and began to beat them down and toss them out of the ring. They grabbed a microphone and called British Strong Style trash and introduced themselves to the crowd. It was Wolfgang, Joe and Mark Coffey and they were referred to as Gallus and they were coming to the NXT TCL next season and they would show everyone just what UK wrestling is all about.
