Re: All Elite Wrestling (AEW) - WWE 2K19 Universe Mode
As someone who is interested to see what AEW has to offer in real life, I think this is a pretty cool concept to see implemented with Universe Mode.
Looks like it took a **** ton of effort with CAW's and such to pull off! I'm impressed! And I'm really liking the AEW stage in your pictures. Never a fan of seeing Chris Jericho lose lol, so sad to see him lose the belt. Also like the Bleacher Report incorporation.

Re: All Elite Wrestling (AEW) - WWE 2K19 Universe Mode
LIVE on TBS October Week 1 The shows opening is cut off by the music of one half of the American Wolves, Eddie Edwards. Edwards comes down to the ring and grabs a mic. Edwards says that he's back in singles competition. He assures the fans that The Wolves are far from done and that Davey Richards isn't going anywhere, but for right now he's ready to resume his quest for singles gold. Edwards calls out his opponent for the night, Okada! Okada comes down to the ring and we're getting things started. --- Match #1 - Eddie Edwards vs. Okada A stiff strong style singles match. Edwards and Okada both take a beating, but a tombstone and 2 Rainmakers later Edwards is still fighting. Edwards lines up Okada for the Boston Knee Party, but Okada catches him and rolls him up to steal the win.
Spoiler
Okada wins by pinfall
Edwards looks on in disappointment. Okada caught him, but he came damn close to putting away the former world champion. ---
Match #2 - Psycho Clown vs. Joe Broni The amazing presence of Psycho Clown lights up the crowd. He squashes the local talent Broni in about a minute, winning with a flip piledriver.
Spoiler
Psycho Clown wins by pinfall
Psycho Clown celebrates. He's gonna be poised to do big things here in AEW. ---
Match #3 - Kongo Kong vs. Nic Nemeth The Bullet Club leader looks to lead by example as he steps in the ring with the monstrous Kong. What we end up with is a match that's way better than anyone expected going in. The entire match builds on the idea that Nemeth wants to hit the Superkick after Kong Kicks out of 2 Zig-Zags. Kong however keeps dodging the kick. A tense moment happens when Kong hits his backbreaker on Nemeth, but Nemeth kicks out at 2. Eventually, Nemeth finally is able to knock out Kong with a superkick and win it.
Spoiler
Nic Nemeth wins by pinfall
--- Match #4 - Junior Elite #1 Contenders - Chavo Guerrero (with PJ Black & Davey Danger) vs. TJ Perkins Perkins works over Chavo and seems to have no issue against the veteran. Chavo stalls multiple times by leaving the ring and speaking with Black and Danger. After the third time, Perkins has had enough. He hits a dive to the outside taking out all three men, then tosses Chavo back into the ring. Perkins hits the Detonation Kick and covers Chavo for the win.
Spoiler
Perkins wins by pinfall
Perkins gets the victory and he's earned himself a shot at Perkins Junior Elite Championship. Will Perkins be able to fulfill his promise and finally take the belt of PJ Black? --- Match #5 - No DQ Tornado Tag - CCK vs. Next Gen Unrivaled A chaotic matchup. Both teams let out some venom here. Kendo sticks, steel chairs, and sledgehammers are all used by both sides. The crowd pops when Kid Lykos brings out a table, but about 5 minutes later it's Chris Brookes getting powerbombed through it off the apron on the outside by Cody Hall. The fighting continues. David Finlay brings out the green mist and uses it on Brookes, but Lykos makes a save before Finlay can take advantage. Hall on the other hand pulls out the brass knuckles, but a double team move by CCK sends Hall and the knuckles flying. There's a ladder in the ring, and when David Finlay goes for a spear, Brookes turns it into a DDT on the ladder. Finlay is layed out on the ladder now. Brookes goes up top and hits a splash on Finlay! Meanwhile on the outside Lykos takes out Hall with a chair. Pinfall by Brookes in the ring, CCK wins!
Spoiler
CCK wins by pinfall
CCK has done it! CCK with a massive victory, and the woes continue for Hall and Finlay. ---
Match #6 - Brian Cage, Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi vs. Zack Sabre Jr, Chris Sabin, Dave Mastiff A basic main event 6-man tag with some high spots provided by Omega and Ibushi. Cage and Mastiff beat the hell out of each other as one would expect, and Sabre & Sabin are focused on sending a message to the tag champions. In the end, Mastiff and Cage brawl to the outside. A little chaos and distraction allows the illegal Sabin to knock Omega off the apron, then get a cheap shot in on Ibushi from the apron. Sabre takes advantage by locking Ibushi in an Octopus Stretch. Ibushi hangs on for as long as he can, but eventually has to tap.
Spoiler
Sabre, Sabin, and Mastiff win by submission
The challenger team has just bested the champion. Not only that, but Sabre just made Ibushi tap out! The three heels celebrate as the show goes off the air. --- Big takeways from the show

Re: All Elite Wrestling (AEW) - WWE 2K19 Universe Mode
LIVE on TBS October Week 2 The show opens cold with Sabre & Sabin and The Golden Lovers screaming at each other backstage. Security bands together and separates both teams by walking them down the hallway in separate directions. Alicia Atout catches up with Sabre & Sabin to ask them what just went on. Sabre answers by saying that they decided to approach Omega and Ibushi and let them know what was gonna happen to them when they get their title shot, but they couldn't handle the heart. Sabin adds that he was ready to throw down right there, and the champs are lucky security was nearby. --- Match #1 - Chris Jericho vs. Johnny Elite vs. Kazuchika Okada The budding rivalry between Elite and Jericho continues here in this triple threat, and it ends up being their downfall as they pay a little too much attention on each other, and not enough on Okada. Jericho has Elite in the Walls of Jericho when Okada comes behind and hits the Rainmaker. He pins Jericho for the victory.
Spoiler
Okada wins by pinfall
Okada advances to the world championship number one contenders match later tonight, and we find out his opponent next. ---
Match #2 - Eddie Edwards vs. PAC vs. Rob Van Dam An extremely fast paced hard hitting triple threat match. PAC takes special pleasure in beating down Van Dam as revenge for what happened a couple weeks ago. PAC is about to hit the Black Arrow on Edwards when RVD runs up and knocks him off the top turnbuckle to the outside. Edwards pops up and hits Boston Knee Party on RVD. 1-2-3!
Spoiler
Edwards wins by pinfall
It looks like tonights main event will be a rematch from last week. Okada vs. Edwards, winner earns a shot at Pentagon Jr. After Edwards exits to the back, an angry PAC begins to loom over RVD. PAC mounts on RVD and starts raining down right hands. He locks in the Rings of Saturn on Van Dam until he passes out, then finally exits the ring. ---
Match #3 - Psycho Clown vs. Joe Broni and Leon Ballesca The local talent that Psycho Clown squashed last week is back, but this time he brought some backup. This is a two on one tornado style handicap match. Psycho Clown has his most impressive showing by far here as he runs roughshod on both men. They get no offense in besides a single club to the back by Ballesca that does nothing to phase him. Psycho Clown hits the Panama Sunrise and pins Broni to win it.
Spoiler
Psycho Clown wins by pinfall
Psycho Clown is now squashing two men at once. Will anyone be able to stop AEW's hottest new talent. --- Match #4 - Crime Time vs. The Bouncers The Bouncers make their official debut as a signed AEW tag team. They put a decent beating down on JTG, but when Shad comes in the tides change as the big man runs wild on both BCB and Milonas. In the end former club bouncer Shad hits a massive STO on the Bruiser. That's a big fall, and enough to put away The Bouncers.
Spoiler
Crime Time wins by pinfall
Crime Time plays spoiler for The Bouncers in this match. Welcome to the tag division, a reminder of just how competitive it is here in AEW. --- Match #5 - Junior Elite Championship - PJ Black © (with Chavo & Davey) vs. TJ Perkins The match begins with Black taking down Perkins and locking in a chin lock. Perkins fights out and unleashes a flurry of strikes. The back and forth continues in what turns out to be a great matchup. Perkins gets Black up and hits the Detonation Kick. 1-2... Chavo runs in the ring and diverts the refs attention. Perkins pops up and hits Chavo with a right. Black uses this opportunity to roll up Perkins, but he doesn't get the three. The fighting continues. Perkins goes for another Detonation Kick, but Black elbows out of it and answers with an enziguri. Perkins in control. He runs the ropes and gets his leg grabbed by Danger on the outside. The ref has had enough, and he ejects Danger and Guerrero! Black takes advantage of the chaos and hits Perkins with a Pumphandle Half Nelson Driver. Black goes up top and hits the 450 Splash. 1-2-3!
Spoiler
PJ Black wins by pinfall
PJ Black and The Syndicate have done it again as Black steals another victory. PJ Black continues to set the record, now 6 defenses on his championship. ---
Match #6 - Eddie Edwards vs. Kazuchika Okada Last week Okada beat Edwards with a roll up, now here we are already for the rematch. This is a hard hitting strong style matchup. Okada hits his signature drop kick from the top rope sending Edwards flying, as well as a myriad of his other signature moves. Edwards takes a hell of a beating from Okada. He gets the occasional move or two in, but he isn't able to get any sustained offense in on the powerful champion. Okada confidently stalks Edwards and hits the Rainmaker. 1-2... kickout! Okada is shocked. He starts to fight from frustration rather than confidently cruising as he was before, and Edwards is able to find an opening and mount a comeback. Edwards locks in a heel hook on Okada. Okada struggles for a bit, but he's able to elbow out. Both men stand up, Boston Knee Party by Edwards. 1-2... kickout! Edwards thought he had it. The match continues with some back and forth action, and even spills to the outside where Okada takes out Edwards with a running clothesline off the apron. He takes Edwards and throws him back into the ring. Rainmaker! Okada hits it, 1-2... kickout! Okada is shocked now. He picks up Edwards and goes for another Rainmaker, but Edwards reverses it into a small package. Okada kicks out at 2 and stands up, BOSTON KNEE PARTY. Cover by Edwards, 1-2-3!
Spoiler
Edwards wins by pinfall
Edwards has done it! Eddie Edwards just defeated The Rainmaker clean in the middle of the ring, and earned himself a shot at the world championship. Davey Richards comes down to the ring and celebrates with Edwards. Okada looks on in shock and he seems to be favoring his leg. It seems that he may have suffered some sort of injury. The show ends with The American Wolves celebrating. Edwards is coming for the world title! --- Big takeways from the show
