As a kid lucky enough to see this era of wrestling, truly a great read. Great angle on life after Hogan but we all know the ending to this story which makes it even better. The inevitable return of the Immortal One, but who will he face? and yes, Hulkamania does live forever BROTHER

NEWS UPDATE - JUNE 14, 1994

We are in the Koko B. Ware era. There is a sense of a victory lap around the Birdman as he has been very appreciative of a very underwhelming title run. He has been jobbing left and right to prospective entries. Koko B. Ware is the first African-American World Champion in professional wrestling and WWF is getting a swarm of media attention for their progressive stance.



There are a slew of challengers who could conceivably face off with Koko for his next defence: HBK, Ted DiBiase, Bret, Savage, but the first to get such a chance will be The Undertaker at King of the Ring.



In the annual King of the Ring, the winner will either be Jerry Lawler or Mabel. The winner will actually face the WWF Champion at Summerslam.


WCW are in a new era as Ron Simmons def. Arn Anderson to become the new WCW World Champion at Spring Stampede. Simmons even saw off the Enforcer at Slamboree and is firmly the new #1 in WCW.


Mostly quiet at ECW although they plan on unveiling their new title belt, the ECW television championship at the upcoming Hostile City Showdown in 2 weeks time.
