Agreed. When the final 5 was determined, I thought "I can pretty much sell any outcome save for I.R.S." It could have easily have been Mantaur, Doink, or Henry Godwinn.

Bret vs. Anvil can work. Owen split on Bret after they lost the belt so Owen can come down in his corner. I may have Davey Boy accompany Bret to even the score.

That sounds like a hell of a main event to me! Been a blast to follow along.

Cheers for the positivity; it helps me keeping on with updating the thread to know people are reading.

Very glad Bret grabbed the brass ring at last.

Re: WWE 2K19 Dynasty - Life After Hulkamania

NEWS UPDATE - MARCH 1, 1995

The industry is pushing towards Wrestlemania with Hitman vs. Anvil going over quite well with the press and the ticket-buying public as the power vs. speed dynamic is working well from a storytelling perspective and Anvil is claiming he was always in Bret's shadow when in fact it was he who did all the work during their tag team days. Owen and Bulldog have joined the fray lately as seconds for each man. It's chaos in the Hart Family and it's blowing up in the Main Event of Wrestlemania XI

ECW continues to rock along with Taz and Ron Simmons throwing the belt back and forth a bit but Simmons did just win the most recent supercard main event at "Where Is The Funker?" in a MOTY candidate.

ECW continues to reach out to talents plying their trades in Japan with the likes of Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, and Eddy Guerrero making their way to the renegade promotion. Tie that into some WCW imports (Cactus Jack, Ron Simmons, Superstar Steve Austin) and WWF castoffs (Jim Powers & Marty Jannetty) and ECW has a lot of name value right now.

WCW has a pay-per-view, Uncensored, later this month and it looks like we're heading for another Savage/Flair matchup as it's currently dominating the main event.

As much as it pains me to report this, the hottest act in the industry is likely Jerry Lawler. He's being booked so strongly, you have to think he's due a world title push whenever he drops the belt. One could make the same argument for The Great Muta in WCW as well.
