Tonight we make history as we will crown the Inaugural NEW Jr Heavyweight Champion when we see Buddy Murphy and Chad Gable go one on one in the main event, Gable who has struggled in NEW has a chance to go from people questioning if he should keep his job, to possibly making history tonight.

After beating Okada by Countout last show, Paul Heyman was ready to give Brock Lesnar a shot at the heavyweight title, however Eric Bischoff challenged that and said a countout win is not enough to earn a title match. So tonight's show will kick off with Lesnar vs Okada in a non-title match, if Brock wins he will get his title match.

And tonight will also see the debut of Bischoff's newest signing, Taka Michinoku.

But opening tonights show as announced last month, Brock Lesnar will be in action, it was reported a superstar had challenged him but nobody knew who that superstar was. We can announce now, kicking off tonights show will be Brock Lesnar vs Mustafa Ali! Ali has been out of action for months after suffering an injury at the hands of Brock and hopes to gain some revenge tonight.
