Results

LHW- Bob Foster defeats Dwight Muhammad Qawi by Unanimous Decision
Judges: 117-112, 117-112, 118-111
Dwight Muhammad Qawi suffered a gash to his left eye in the 5th round of his fight with former UBF Light Heavyweight Champion Bob Foster on Saturday night. Qawi, whose right eye showed some swelling by the end of the 6th round, was kept in the fight by the diligent work of his corner but he was unable to win over the decision of any of the judges.

Foster, who landed 138 punches to Qawi's 96, won unanimously and improved to 6-1-0 (2). The loss dropped Qawi to 3-2-0 (1).

HW- Gene Tunney defeats George Chuvalo by TKO at 1:09 of Round 4
Gene Tunney improved to 13-3-2 (6) on Saturday night after opening a gash above former UBF Heavyweight Champion George Chuvalo's right eye, leading to a stoppage. The loss drops the former champ's record to 10-7-1 (6). Tunney will fight on Monday night next month.

MW- TITLE FIGHT- Bernard Hopkins defeats Juan Roldan by KO at 1:38 of Round 5

Judges: Larry Doggett 39-36, Adelaide Byrd 39-36, Rudy Ortega 40-34
Bernard Hopkins retained his UBF Middleweight title and improved to 6-1-2 (2) on Saturday night by knocking out former champ Juan Roldan in the 5th round. Roldan falls to 4-4-0 (2) with the loss and some are now speculating that his chance at regaining the belt may be lost for good. Hopkins will fight again next month on Monday night.

HW- TITLE FIGHT- Lennox Lewis defeats Tyson Fury by TKO at 2:21 of Round 13
Referee: Frank Cappuccino
Judges: Richard Green 118-107, Joe Pasquale 117-108, Harold Buck 118-107
On the strength of a 173-85 advantage in punches landed and 4 knockdowns, UBF Heavyweight Champion Lennox Lewis emphatically defeated Tyson Fury, by way of a 13th round stoppage, to retain his belt on Saturday night.

Fury, 9-4-1 (5), was knocked down in rounds 1, 7, 8 and 13 before referee Frank Cappuccino finally brought an end to the proceedings. Lewis improved to 14-5-2 (8) with the win.

Owen Moran knocked down Gunner Modell in the opening round of their Monday night bout and would win unanimously with the judges after 12 rounds. Moran improved his record to 2-1-0 (1).

BW- Khaokor Galaxy defeats Patsy Cragen by KO at 0:51 of Round 3
Khaokor Galaxy knocked out Patsy Cragen early in the 3rd round of their Monday night contest, improving to 2-1-0 (2).

LW- Harry Arroyo defeats Noodles Hass by Unanimous Decision

Harry Arroyo scored a first round knockdown of Noodles Hass on Monday night and he won a unanimous decision to improve his record to 7-4-0 (3).

MW- Steve Collins defeats Sandman Thomas by KO at 1:11 of Round 2

MW- Bernard Hopkins defeats Sam Levigne by Unanimous Decision

UBF Middleweight Champion Bernard Hopkins was an easy winner by unanimous decision over Sam Levigne on Monday night. Hopkins, who is now 7-1-2 (2), knocked down Levigne in the 9th round but his competitor was able to finish the fight.

HW- Gene Tunney defeats Jimmy Robinson by KO at 2:57 of Round 2
Gene Tunney knocked out Jimmy Robinson with three seconds to spare in the 2nd round of their Monday night contest. Tunney is now 14-3-2 (7).

BW- Nonito Donaire defeats Raul Perez by Unanimous Decision
Judges: 116-112, 115-113, 118-110
Nonito Donaire opened a cut on the left cheek of Raul Perez in the 6th round of their Tuesday night bout and Perez was only able to win one round with one judge from the 7th round on as Donaire won the fight unanimously. Donaire is now 2-1-0 (0), while Perez is 1-2-0 (0).

BW- Jeff Fenech defeats Lou Salica by Split Decision

LW- James Busceme defeats Julian Wheeler by KO at 2:34 of Round 9
James Busceme, 1-2-0 (1), earned his first professional victory in impressive fashion, with a 9th round knockout of Julian Wheeler. In the aftermath Wheeler, who dropped to 2-5-0 (1), announced that he will retire from the sport.

On Wednesday morning, UBF President steelerfan stated that Wheeler will be replaced in the Lightweight Division by Georgia native Rocky Randell.

LW- Juan Diaz defeats Young Otto by Split Decision
Judges: 112-117, 116-112, 119-109
The "Three Blind Mice" saw very different outcomes as Juan Diaz was given a split decision on Tuesday night over UBF debutant Young Otto. Diaz is now 4-5-0 (1).

LW- Roberto Duran defeats Sammy Fuller by Unanimous Decision
Judges: 115-113, 115-113, 116-112
Roberto Duran improved to 6-1-0 (2) with a Tuesday night unanimous decision over Sammy Fuller. Fuller drops to 3-2-0 (0) with the loss.

LW- Alexis Arguello defeats Darleys Perez by Split Decision
Judges: 116-113, 113-115, 117-111
Alexis Arguello, 8-3-0 (4), won a split decision on Tuesday night over Darleys Perez. The loss sends Perez' record to 3-5-0 (1).

LHW- Battling Bozo defeats Tyrone Frazier by Unanimous Decision

Battling Bozo spoiled the professional debut of Tyrone Frazier, winning via unanimous decision on Thursday night. Bozo improved his record to 3-2-0 (0) with the win over Frazier.

LHW- Ezzard Charles defeats Chad Dawson by Unanimous Decision
Judges: 115-113, 115-114, 115-114
In one of the more entertaining and well-fought bouts so far this month, Ezzard Charles edged out Chad Dawson in a unanimous decision despite Charles being a heavy favorite. Dawson fell to 1-4-0 (0) and Charles improved to 3-2-0 (1).

LHW- John Conteh defeats Alvaro Lopez by Majority Decision
Judges: 118-110, 115-113, 114-114
John Conteh improved to 6-1-0 (1) with a majority decision over the winless Alvaro Lopez on Thursday night. Lopez fell to 0-4-1 (0) with the loss.

HW- Lamon Brewster and Frank Bruno fight ruled No Contest
In a flashback to the less-secure days of the UBF, the scheduled 12-round fight between Lamon Brewster and Frank Bruno was ruled a No Contest after just 1:15 of the 2nd round when a bottle that was thrown into the ring by a ringside observer struck Frank Bruno. Mayhem ensued and it was a full 16 minutes before order was restored by police and security.

The federation said in a statement that police believe that Thursday's episode was not related to last month's incident in which a fan stormed the ring during a fight between Thomas Hearns and Rube Ferns.

HW- Renaldo Snipes defeats Anthony Joshua by Unanimous Decision
Judges: 115-112, 114-113, 116-111
A sixth round knockdown of Anthony Joshua helped propel Renaldo Snipes to a unanimous win on Thursday night. Snipes improved to 6-3-1 (2) with the win, while the loss dropped Joshua to 8-8-1 (6).

HW- Buddy Baer defeats Andre Anderson by KO at 0:53 of Round 2
Buddy Baer stooped Andre Anderson early in the second round of their scheduled 12 round bout on Thursday night to improve to 11-6-1 (8). The loss puts Anderson's record at 0-2-0 (0). Baer will be featured in a Monday night bout in November.

HW- John L. Sullivan defeated Jerry Quarry by Unanimous Decision
Judges: 114-113, 118-111, 117-111
John L. Sullivan used a 2nd round flash knockdown of Jerry Quarry to earn a unanimous decision over Jerry Quarry on Thursday night. Sullivan is now 6-1-1 (2) and Quarry is 11-8-0 (3).

BW- Jeff Chandler defeats Frankie Neil by KO at 1:28 of Round 8
Jeff Chandler earned an appearance on next month's UBF Monday Night Fights with a 2nd round knockout of Frankie Neil on Friday night. Neil suffered his first professional loss and fell to 1-1-0 (1), while Chandler improved to 2-0-0 (2).

BW- Memphis Pal Moore defeats Johnny King by Majority Decision
Judges: 117-113, 117-111, 114-114
Memphis Pal Moore improved to 4-0-0 (1) by taking a majority decision from the Bantamweight Division's #1 contender, Johnny King, on Friday night. The loss drops King to 3-1-0 (1).

LW- Terence Crawford defeats Pedro Montanez by TKO at 0:54 of Round 8
In a very closely-fought fight on Friday night Terence Crawford stopped Pedro Montanez early in the 8th round after a gash opened above Montanez' right eye.

Through 7 rounds Montanez led narrowly with the judges (67-66, 67-66, 68-66) but his efforts were unfortunately undone by the facial injury. Montanez dropped to 4-4-0 (0) with the loss, while Crawford remains unblemished at 8-0-0 (5).

WW- Henry Armstrong defeats Marty Servo by Unanimous Decision
Judges: 118-112, 116-114, 116-112
On the strength of a 143-112 advantage in punches landed, Henry Armstrong took a unanimous decision from Marty Servo on Friday night. Servo is now 6-2-0 (1) and Armstrong is 8-3-0 (5).

WW- Jose Napoles defeats Milton McCrory by Split Decision
Judges: 113-115, 116-113, 117-112
The crowd booed the announcement of a split decision in favor of Jose Napoles as most considered Napoles a clear winner in his fight with Milton McCrory on Friday night. Napoles, who held a 135-103 advantage in punches landed per CompuBox, improved his record to 8-3-0 (5). Meanwhile McCrory, who sustained a gash above his left eye in the 10th round, fell to 8-2-0 (6).
