You heard it first here :D |
Re: cdcool's 15 min Quarter: CPU vs CPU (Watched GM) Madden 25 Sliders
In 2023 the average number of penalties per game for both teams combined was around 12-14.
Average Penalty Yards for both teams was between 50 to 70 These are the numbers I will try and get to per game here, if possible with Madden, without decreasing the variety of penalties called. |

OP UPDATED
CDCOOL 15 Minute Quarter Madden 25 Penalties Offside: 70 to 67 False Start: 70 to 67 Holding: 58 Face Mask: 70 to 67 Defensive Pass Interference:70 to 67 Offensive Pass Interference: ON Kick Catch Interference: ON Illegal Block in the Back: 70 to 67 Intentional Grounding: ON Roughing the Passer: 58 Roughing the Kicker: ON Running into the Kicker: ON Illegal Contact ON I'm still watching games and will post states with the current settings shortly. Rushing did increase with this change so I will need to adjust there. Still getting all the penalties only less of them overall without killing all of them. I don't think I want to go any lower, based on the way Penality sliders are working in Madden 25. Penalties have a stronger impact on 15-minute quarters CPU vs CPU than anything less than that. 15 Minutes vs 12 Minutes Quarters are not an Apple-to-Apple comparison. Getting stats right at 12 minutes is easier, the game is shorter by almost an NFL Quarter CPU vs CPU. I can understand User vs User or User vs CPU doing that, 15-minute Quarters are a very long game and there is more of everything. So keep this in mind when you see stats. :D Testing also takes longer until the guys at Madden Modding Community get the mods working which will include Speed Hack, which runs CPU vs CPU Watched games 10x or more faster. Watched 15-minute quarter games take 40-60 minutes to watch a full game., slow as hell. The games are fun to watch tho but having to watch multiple games is very time-consuming. It's much harder to get things right with Madden 15 Minute Quarters CPU vs CPU. I've done 12 so I know the differences. The NFL is 15-minute quarters this is why I'm on it. I will not sim the game with anything less. I will post stats shortly. |
Re: cdcool's 15 min Quarter: CPU vs CPU (Watched GM) Madden 25 Sliders
Do you have anything to back up your statements on how 15 minute quarters affect penalties moreso than 12 minute quarters?
The very reason why I don't play with 15 min quarters cause you need to have a 10-11 sec runoff (for 120 plays) and thats barely enough time for the CPU QB's to not only audible, but also for players to motion across the field. You get unnecessary delay of game penalties. |

Tackling: 10 to 15, I may have to go a bit higher or lower but I can see the difference in scoring at 15 Rushing increased with the change in Penalties Everyone there are no issues using 15 Minute Quarters at 10 Sec So ignore the nonsense Delay of Game decreased drastically as it did last year and Audibles are fine. |
