Something that worries me: will the refereeing and more physical game of the 80īs and 90's be reproduced as well?

Thats a must for realism...

:spit:physical game of the 80s? teams were giving up 115 nightly back then. somebody's been watching those handful of jordan/pistons clips a few too many times

Maybe not, but whatever your team is, I can assure you that MJ had great moment against them.

Not playoff games, but he definitely had great games...

LOL at the commentators calling him "Captain Marvel"...

I'm sure that were other good ones.

This means nothing if the gameplay sucks. I was disappointed with every version since 2k7.

sorry, but it's just not that big a deal to me. it's a nice addition and i'll probably still get the game, but not because of this. people are acting like jordan is gonna be a maxed out god, doing dunks from halfcourt and ending world hunger in this mode; when in reality, he probably wont be able to do anything that u can't already do with kobe. imo it's just a cool feature for kids and jordan groupies who get a kick out of seeing his shoes and likeness in the game

I will love this mode for the touch of history, not because I'm looking for a half court dunk. To me, it's 20 more teams (great teams I loved watching) to use when I play. In terms of video gaming, the NBA's history is such an open book, so much room to tinker, add, and discover. A lot of people are just interested in the here and now (Kobe, Dwight, LeBron) and that's absolutely fine. But there are also a lot of people who witnessed other great moments and love the NBA not only for what it is, but for what it was. The fact that some accurate history is being implemented here is a really cool step in my book.

Yeah, yeah...better today's game, where mosquitos touching players get whistles. I watched many teams playing and not only the Pistons. Teams scored more points because the game was more fluid, and not having a call every 10 seconds. Today the refs are the ones who dribble and score, not the players.

I think it's gonna come down to what u prefer to play, 2K or the other. Both companies are doin' their best to give a quality game, and for that we should take our hat's off to both companies. Me myself I prefer 2K( i Love The Gameplay, feels more realistic to me,but not shootin' down EA. Just what I prefer) I feel competition brings fourth better games.Just only wish we had the same in the football games.

Hey 2k how about making NBA All-pro! A little something for the old schoolers!
