Penalty enforcement bug
-2nd & 6, I ran for a first down -Fumbled at the end of the run, recovered by the defense -Got called for holding, declined by the CPU opponent -I challenged the fumble and it was overturned -I was awarded 1st & 10 at the spot of the fumble. BUG: CPU opponent was not able to accept the holding penalty after I got the call reversed. |

First of I love the game, to all of you that are nit picking, Come on some of the stuff doesnt really matter!!!
Now to my point I know alot of you have wrote about OT and for good reason. I was the Irish against the Buckeyes it went into OT and the Buckeyes scored on there first drive. Then I came down and threw a INT (games over right? Nope!) So The Buckeyes get the ball at the spot where I tackled them and they run a play and Pryor throws a INT which I take to the house to make the score 31-30.. Game Over!!!! no PAT for me!! it didnt change the out come and it did make me laugh!! EA really needs to fix this first this should be on the top of the list maybe the only thing that needs to be on there list!! |

2 things I've noticed.
- I'm getting called offsides too many times when the CPU runs no huddle. It happened to me twice on the same drive. The first time I didn't get back in time. The second time, my player RAN INTO an offensive linemen while trying to get back onto the other side. This NEEDS to be patched. - The other thing is, sometimes when I'm on defense, I'm using L-analog stick to move my player around before the snap. Instead of moving my player, everytime I move it, it will select another player. Like I was pressing O to change players. So while I'm trying to move a player this thing is cycling through different players in random order, the CPU snaps the ball and leaves me vulnerable becaus e I dont know who I am on the play. |

I coudl be wrong about this but I wanted to make an observation that may reflect a problem with the play selection AI.
I am working very hard on getting real world statistics (correct run attempts, yardage per carry, and completion percentage). Sacks are realistically only 2 per game average except for a few elite schools and even then are pretty much never >4 per game (on a side). While trying to get good pressure but realistic sack numbers I noticed a possible flaw in the play selection AI. Even if the halfback is getting >5 yards per carry average and the quarterback has a 35% completion pecentage the computer continues to ignore the running game and performs only passing plays if the sack number is high (this is not counting trying to make up for a previous sack, but on every possession). On evaluation of the statistics there is very poor overall yards per carry (sometimes only 12 yards for the quarter even though the halfback has 50 yards) because the loss of yards on sacks. I suspect that the routine used to determine if running plays or passing plays are working best is utilizing the overall yards per carry and not the actually effectiveness of the running back. Can a developer answer what the AI is using to determine whether to pass or run; such as if the AI is using: 1) The total running yards per quarter 2) The average yards per carry 3) The average yards per carry of the player with the most carries 4) Average yards per carry without counting the quarterback Unless the computer is using either number 3 or 4 the game will preferentially abandon the run game even though it is the pass game that is not working,and would explain the skewed results. This could be repaired by disqualifying the quarterbacks yards and/or yards per carry from the routine, or by using the statistics for the player with the most carries. I favor the second option since some teams with option systems run the quarterback and should use statistics. Finally the ideal system would be to just eliminate negative yard statistics for quarterbacks in the calculation then both rushing quarterbacks and running backs would be used. |

Plays are Triple Options and have been run primarily from Wishbone and Flexbone formations, but I have also seen the freeze from Triple Options run from other formations. I have QB Autothrow ON, so I am not doing anything after I snap the ball. The visual sequence is always the same - the QB pulls out from under Center, turns to hand the ball off to the FB as the 1st option but does not complete the handoff, then freezes in place until tackled. I have never seen an actual handoff to the FB as the 1st option. 2. The QB successfully completes the fake to the FB and continue down the line to execute either the 2nd or 3rd option. I don't recall seeing a freeze after the fake is completed. I have tried the Georgia Tech and Navy playbooks in Practice Mode. I note that both of those playbooks are all Flexbone formations. I ran about 20 Triple Option Plays from a couple of formations in those playbooks without seeing the freeze problem. I then ran Wishbone Triple Option plays from the Option Run Playbook. I ran plays from all three Wishbone formations. I saw numerous freezes in all three formations. I just snapped the ball and let the CPU run the play. Please advise your results. While I have your attention, please permit me to mention another anomoly I have observed. At game's end, total Time of Possession exceeds the total available playtime. I run 8 minute quarters, so total TOP should equal 32 minutes. What I see is somewhere between 33 to 35 minutes and odd seconds for total TOP. I am playing with the Playclock OFF and generally with Chew Clock ON. I am using Watch Next Play under Supersim to handle all of my kick attempts and most of my Punt Returns. Regards, Art |

Has anybody noticed this online dynasty bug for PS3? We have 5 created teams in the dynasty. It is around week 10 in year 1. I advanced to week 11 and the results for 3 of the 5 teams did not carry over. It simmed them. I lost the week 10 results for those 3 teams.

Pardon me if this has already been added. Whenever the home team gets a 2nd/3rd down and inches or 4th and inches, the custom stadium sounds will start playing for 1st down conversion on 1st or 2nd down and 1st down conversion on 3rd down respectively. Sound too wordy? Lemme break it down for you.

Just had this same huge glitch in Online Dynasty for PS3-a user won their game but when we advanced the week, it showed them as losing. This is absolutely rediculously and completely ruins the game as there is no way to go back. I'm beyond furious right now, and feel completely screwed out of my $60. How about you release the game when it's ready and doesn't have game/experience crippling bugs???

the only problem ive noticed that pisses me off enough to post on here is that for some reason, i only seem to be allowed one rtg player per school!? I.E... created qb at michigan, first one, not very good, but finished on the leaderboards. problem: every subsequent player ive created at michigan WILL NOT post to the leaderboard!!?? i tried making a qb at N.C. and it posted just fine. when i went back to MICH. i made a FS this time, and STILL doesnt show up!!?? (in between that, i made 2 other qbs at mich. with no luck!) HELP ME!!!:confused::y220::confused::y220::confused::y2 20::confused::y220::confused::y220::confused:...ot her than this the game ROCKS i think...rtg needs a little more work but is DEF. improved and on the right track!!!

There's problems with your AI.
When a QB starts to scramble say there is a WR in a Curl route and is standing there with his defender. There are multiple times where I will run and the defender will just watch me get closer to the LOS and then pass the LOS and won't even attempt to engage me until I've already picked up enough yardage. Pretty horrible if you ask me |

I was plaing myfirst game of my secound season last night and it was against Marshall. Marshall had a little little guy on there team. Like it would be like a cat compared to us. I figured this was just a glitch and it would go away. It stayed for the whole game it was kindA funny and irritating all at the same time. Just wondering if any one else has seen this. Normally I would search but I'm on my iPhone.

Dynasty Stat Overlay Bug
I've noticed that in season 2 of my Alabama dynasty when the stat overlay of say for example Julio Jones came up showing his "Season Stats" it's actually displaying his career stats. Minor, but noticed.

has anyone else noticed that players with the last name James are actually being pronounced with a hyphenated name??... starts with a C or K but I can't make it out... these are with Dynasty players that were signed...
I thought it was just a fluke with one guy, then I found a James on the other team being pronounced that way too... |

Trying to punt the ball in an online dynasty game. Will not let me do it. It comes out as a fake punt. The punter immediately tries to throw the ball. Even when I push the R2 button and up on the right stick, it shows the play as a punt.
Same game, XMB was frozen. Could not scroll, could not message. Same game, every time I took control of my WR with the circle button, he would stop running. Same dynasty, connection issues are huge. We are losing more than half of our games to disconnects. Tell me there are fixes for this. Otherwise, this game is gone. |

Probably been covered, but when I click for a hot route on defense, I can not cancel out of it.. I am forced to do nothing or pick an option. If I press "O" to cancel it does nothing.

Game is full of glitches. The Flexbone offense is a glitch teams don't react right to it, you have to pray for them to fumble. The Gators pb is a glitch, I played a guy who used 1 play with Pryor from the Gator pb and no defense could guard it. Man D is to good on the outside and horrible with the slot wr's! you can run slants,crossing routes, and post all day the computer never catches on at all lol so much for improved IA.

I was lined up for field goal return. the ball bounces of goal post my guy catches it in the endzone and the screens flash with the ball in his hand. up comes the play screen and the team that missed the field goal got the ball at the twenty .:34::brickwall

The two things that I have noticed is the custom sounds will stop playing in a blow out. Keep scoring no touchdown music or kickoff or anything that I have set. Also what's up with some of the players walking on their toes. Seems to be the taller players that do this but I have some shorter players that do this as well. It looks really ********. Just wondering if anybody has seen this as well?

Oh yeah. South Carolina plays in WilliamS Brice Stadium, not William Brice, as Brad Nessler and the PA guy have referred to it since at least 2007.

I'm not sure where I Should post this but does anyone else feel like kickoffs get returned more then what they should. And it just seem like kick off return team get a boost of blocking ability, i was ohiobstate and i was playing Ohio and and they ran all over my my kickoff team. AnY suggestion I would love them, kinda iritating because I think it effect the game as far as momention and in a game like that not a big deal but in a big game could hurt me pretty bad.

has anyone had a problem with stats not being recorded? i had a 70 yard optoin td run and wasnt added to my hb's stats or shown in the play summary. but it was the play of the game. sorry if this was answered before.

Bad AI bug.
4 & 2, Georgia (CPU) vs. FSU (Human), midway through the 1st quarter. CPU is leading 7-0. Ball is at the 25. Georgia lines up and hits a FG, but I run into the kicker. Instead of accepting the penalty (and taking the first down), the CPU declines the penalty and takes the 3 points for a 10-0 lead. :confused: No coach would make that call in that situation. |
