Just an FYI... I am going over every team and updating attributes. They won't be perfect because it would take me a year just to get the rightly-lefty splits totally correct. But these will reflect a global picture of who is playing well and who's not.

I would suggest waiting on my next update to start a franchise with. It will greatly reflect where guys are (and I promise to give some leeway to guys who have a history of showing up). It will also include every player who's made it to the majors (including the latest call up, Josh Spence, the left-handed reliever from Australia who is mostly a 3/4 arm slot breaking ball pitcher).

10 teams are totally completed but it's going fairly quickly... Shooting for an updated release by THIS weekend.

I am down to only 10 teams left. Will make this game much more fun as a lot of players have needed updated since the original roster release in late March.

I've also added Chase d'Arnaud (Pittsburgh) and Juan Perez (Phillies) to the next file. Hoping for a Saturday night (late) release. This will be THE file to grab!

Only 8 teams left. I also added another top prospect: Thomas Neal (LF) of the SF Giants who's been tearing up AAA ball.

I will have this done today... I'll clean up a few things and review the prospects - I have signed up for MLBdepthcharts.com newsletter and am going over the pdf file that Jason sent the other day that has all top prospects statistics for this season. I'll then review the top AAA performers and see who I can add. My wife just took our kids to get groceries, and since it's raining here I can't get any yard work done (bummer!).

I will have this up on 2k Share and will also provide a link for offline users. This will probably be the last MAJOR update - I'll just work on some small fixes down the road. But I would suggest using this newest file for your dynasties because it will more accurately reflect how players are performing this year.

One last thought: I am going to give some guys the benefit of the doubt who have performed well in the past but are having a down year. So if a guy like Lincecum who's having a good year, but not a "great" one, will still get (I think he's an 89 overall) - but Vogelsong is pitching lights out. I've still rated Vogelsong high (I think an 86) but he's still not better than Lincecum. (I'm just using this as an example). I know from last year that I can't please everyone. But I'm not going drastic on things. Some relievers will get a solid look (guys rated around 65 get bumps to around 71 or 72 overalls, for example).

All team reviewed and tons of players re-rated. Teams now best reflect 2011 and this is THE FILE to start your dynasty with. All top MLB/AAA prospects (according to www.mlbdepthcharts) are now in this file!!!
