Expected a loss, so not too disappointed as far as that goes. Overall they looked better than I thought they would. Not a fan of passing all four downs down near the goal early in the fourth considering how well running had been, but oh well.

Here's the problem with jay culter as our QB, we won't be bad enough to get one of the top 3 picks in the draft yet he's not good enough to lead us to the playoffs :(.

That's why teams like the Bills, Bears, Jets, and Texans have been so mediocre for so long. Never get a top 3 pick, so they are always in QB limbo. While teams like the Colts totally bomb a season and luck into Luck. Think the NFL should consider going to a draft lottery format.

I really liked what I saw from the Bears coaching staff, Cutler reading the defense, spread offense at times.

Cutler being Cutler helped out the Packers.

Packers run D was atrocious, hopefully Burnett and Barrington will be back next week.

The third and shorts really aided Cutler, but when it was 3rd and long, his passes seemed off target. I don't even know if he wound up completing 50%. Just 50%, 18/36

GG Bears fans, future looks bright with these coaches at the helm.

Texans had the number 1 pick last year and then before that, it was hard for them to get a Top 3 pick since they were always picking late in the 1st round.

And the current draft format is fine as it is. Why fix something thats not broken?

I disagree, as long as jay culter is the qb for the bears the future is not bright but dark.:(

Texans did not have the #1 pick? Or Winston or if they were smart Mariota would be a Texan now.

Nice performance from the Bears despite the loss. Just goes to show how crucial good coaches and scheme are in this league. Personnel wise, the team is not too different from last year. But you can tell, the culture has changed. Feels alot more like the gritty Bears image of the past.

My favorite part of the Fox/Gase/Fangio staff is the emphasis on running the ball and time of possession. That's crucial to take pressure off the defense and reduce turnovers. Bears should be in alot of games this year with that style of play.
