Maybe Ty Law and Chuck Winters talked with Desmond and had him get with the website people for payback for "The Miracle at Michigan"?

Michigan has a lot of tradition, but how is running and touching a stupid banner cool? Hell someone trips over it every year. If it beats Clemson running down the hill, that'll be unbelievable.

It's cool because of the tradition and history associated with it. Here's a couple vids of the most infamous incident involving the banner:

This one has great audio:

and this one is better video:

I must say jumping and touching a banner is just the same as running down a hill and touching a rock or going through a tunnel and touching a horseshoe. In reality unless you are a fan of a team you would say yours is better in most instances. College football has the least objective fans of any sport IMO. I am guilty of it also. Honestly I think CU's Ralphie should have stayed in it there is nothing like seeing that thing charge at the visiting sideline. Even as a fan in the stands it makes you wanna pee yourself. I think from a pure visual point of view if you asked a non-fan they would say FSU's and Colorado's is way more exciting then touching a sign or running down a hill, or a banner, or horseshoe, or a band member or celebrity dotting the eye.
