I don't mind the idea of Madden Franchise getting live updates. It's nice to get new things this year and not have to wait til the next release.

However, it almost feels useless to have updates come out right before or after the playoffs are over. I cannot imagine the number of people playing the game at that point is all too high, and the majority left are probably playing MUT.

It's not Madden specific, it's really an EA issue overall, but the development feels disjointed constantly like there is no true direction, no longterm goals, etc.

I think you're 100% right. Hard for me to believe 2 more franchise updates are coming for M22 yet. Most ppl have already turned the game into a coaster. Atleast with Rex there seemed to be a direction & destination.

The same for both Next-Gen and Last-Gen consoles.

Im grateful for even the minor change. my only gripe with this is the scenario stat mark to begin with. 4 tds or 200 rushing or etc. An overhaul is needed to refine progression over a period of time during the season. these one game arcade tricks arent scratching the itch so to speak.

3 months since last major drop for franchise, with notes still pending on whats in the works 2nd round of the playoffs basically smh. Its going on month 6 after release.

No, a news outlet erroneously reported that they had abandoned the updates. EA quickly responded to indicate that they were still dealing with them.

I was hoping the next title update would have some QOL fixes to the new scouting. Plus, you can't even look at mock draft #5 unless you want to see the exact draft picks by each team for the first round.

People who are on social media have moved on from Madden, they love to talk about they have, but I expect that millions of others play it year round and are happy to get new things added at any time.
