Rewriting History A Chicago Cubs Franchise

As soon as the OSFM rosters drop I will begin my Chicago Cubs franchise and keep track of all goings on here. In the beginning stages of rebuilding a franchise that has not won a world series in over 100 years, in MLB 12 The Show I will try to bring a championship to the friendly confines of Wrigley Field.

When it's over will we be seeing a scene similar to this?

Also want to ask what does everyone think of the MLB 12 The Show Cubs banner I made with the new beta version of adobe cs6?

I think the banner looks great too. I planned on posting a Cubs franchise as soon as the OSFM came out as well, that is if you don't mind. I don't want to steal your shine or anything, but I will definitely be following yours!

No I don't mind at all and feel free to use the banner I made if you want. I have no problem with sharing .

Right now I'm doing a season just to get myself use to the game. I played against the Phillies today and I wanted to try out the box score generator to see if I get it right so here is the box score from the game. I strike out a lot.

I went ahead and started mine. Hopefully the patch comes out in time for opening day of my franchise. I've decided I'm definitely going to play multiple spring training games.

Okay now that Knight's roster is out time to get started.

First of all a big thank you to Knight and your entire team for the hard work and hours gone into building these rosters, so people like myself that have nothing better to do can spend hours enjoying the virtual game of baseball.

I am using the Armor & Swords The Show 12 slider set on All Star difficulty.

Now with the start of spring training ahead here is the 40 man roster for my 2012 MLB 12 The Show Chicago Cubs

Cubs tightrope their way to their first spring win in rainy Arizona.

Weather it was the long winter off or the rainy weather in general the Cubs defense looked like a Babe Ruth league team in today's 8-6 spring training win over the A's.

I'll probably sim most of these spring games and play a few out just to get a feel on what direction I want to go with the roster.

Cubs loose to the White Sox 8-7. Anthony Rizzo and Bryan LaHair both homered for the Cubs but it wasn't enough as the White Sox outplayed their crosstown rivals. Randy Wells took the loss allowing 2 runs in 1 inning pitched.

The Cubs ended spring training by making a trade with the Atlanta Braves. The Cubs sent Marlon Byrd and Jeff Baker to Atlanta in return for relief pitcher Arodys Vizcaino. The Cubs will open the season at home against the Washington Nationals.
