"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

Thought I was down and out? Still got love for ya. I've been editing since June but since y'all show no love to the small conferences, saw no point getting on the site early. With Norfolk St. Beating Missouri, respect is now gained for the MEAC or SWAC. I took the time to care for their rosters. What's news: I figured out after releasing the rosters last year how to make bad teams bad during season simulations. I have still watched highlight videos for all rookies. If there's no highlight film then they are not that good. I will be doing a conference by conference breakdown analysis like I do every year. Will my rosters be ready by Nov 13th ? Not sure. Small conference are done. Looking at WCC A10 MWC MVC Colonial and the 6 power conference left.

"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

SWAC

Grambling
Quincy Roberts(SF) If he doesn’ttransfer, this St. John’s transfer with bounce will dominate the SWAC. If youdelete him off the roster, the team will be one of the worst in the game. Your call.

MEAC
Morgan st.

Christian Kabongo (SG) Transferfrom New Mexico st. Was supposed to transfer to Southern Miss, but things got messed up. He could lead the nation in scoring if he actually plays here. Again just like QRoberts, if he leaves delete him and this team is pitiful.

SUMMIT

Western Illinios

Ceola Clark (SG) and TParks (C )– This nice inside out game shouldn’t scare you but Clark used to be a gunner and calmed down last year.

IPFW
Frank Gaines (SF) – I’m gonna miss this left handed gunner. He may lead the nation in scoring. He will shoot even if he has a double team. He will go out with a bang so put them on your schedule

IUPUI
Ian Chiles (PG) – Now that last years gunner (Young) has graduated, this high flying PG takes this team over. You better stop ball or get dunked on. Very high 3-point rating.

NORTH DAKOTA ST.
Taylor Braun (SF) – He won’t 3-point you to death, but he will do everything else. The junior could be a 20pt scorer this season and in your league simulated 20 min halves.

OAKLAND and ORAL ROBERTS
The team gunners have graduated Hamilton(PG) and Morrison (PF) respectively. Any man’s guess this season. Look for Bader (OAK) and WNiles (ORAL) to lead the way.

SOUTH DAKOTA ST.
Nate Wolters (PG) – His 3pt shooting and FT went way down last year, thus his attributes got turned down. He should lead the league in scoring during simulation. The entire team shoots 3’s so you will have to pay attention at all times or get beat like Kansas did last year. So don’t say this team can’t ball. They beat them on Kansas’s home floor.

Welcome back. I was going through Morehead St., teams looks to be a clusterf***. You think Bakari Turner will come in and start immediately? I just cant get a good read on them.

Re: "TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

What up Raider? Glad to be back. Havent gotten the error message yet and I have 138 teams left to edit. Did you ever get the error message to come off of last year's roster? What i'm doing to save time is if a good player is mysteriously not there, i google search "player name / transfer / basketball". Finding out all kinds of info. Players are tranferring twice sometimes. I have Bakari as the highest rated player on the team and starting. If i have time i will check the boxscore of the 3 preseason games they play in early november. That seemed to work well last year for questionable teams.

"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

SUN BELT

DENVER (moved to WAC)

Chris Udofia(PF) – It’s all about this 6”6 high flying athlete. His shooters graduated. He’ll take an occasional three and block your shot down low.

FLORIDA ATLANTIC
Greg Gantt (SG)and RaymondTaylor (PG) – Gantt gave up his gunning license last season or RTaylor decided no more of this. Look out for freshman Stefan Moody (PG)- who has been handed the keys. This 98 vertcial PG needs to be checked out on the highlight film, it's no wonder Raymond Taylor is history.

MIDDLE TENNESEE ST.
Solid balanced scoring team with many athletes. They lost their best player at center, retained everyone else and gained transfer Torin Walker toreplace him. This team should once again be watching selection Sunday with a chance at a dance.

NORTH TEXAS

Tony Mitchell (PF) – If you’re looking for a gunning dominating PF, look no further. PG Chris Jones will get him the ball and drive to the hoop too. Should be the conf leading scorer in simulation.

Western Kentucky
Balanced athletic team as usually.Lost Gordon to transfer and a host of others. Did gain high flying athletic freshmanEddie Alcantara (SF), who will throw down when you’re not paying attention.

SOUTHLAND

McNeese st.
Donte Cannon (PG) –he is just that. This left-handed sweet stoking senior needs to be checked! He’s related to future NBA draft Cannon on Murray st. Given none of the conferences listed before can’t play any defense, if your defensive skills are limited, you will be in a shootout.

Sam Houston st.
Erik Williams (PF) – that’s what happens when you transfer from a major program, you become the bully. He won’tbe shooting many 3’s but you better have size or blocking skills down low or you’re in for a long day.

Texas st.
Matt Staff (PF) and Reid Koenen (SF)-Staff will handle most of the scoring, but if you leave Koenen open, you’ll bedown 3 points that’s the sharp shooter. Pick you mufu poison.

UT- Arlington
Lost everybody except KevinButler (PF). Look out for Gainey (SF) he can throw down and will try to complement KButler

UTSA
JHill (PF) and Burrage (SG) –tough combination to deal with but you have no choice sometimes. Hill will shoot 3’s so you don’t know where he’ll be. Burrage same deal doesn’t need to load up on threes.

Ya man my file is corrupt, I dont even think its a matter of player names I just think it got corrupted some how, im at peace with it lol. You are correct though, I used the exhibition box scores last year to at least solidify starting lineups.

Pretty sure Ray Taylor transferred to Florida International?

Good to see you going at it again Deepball! I'm still enjoying yours from last year with a couple legacies so don't be offended if I don't play too much of this year's rosters

That's good. I remember last year. I havent seen how good Vandi is yet, but they did do as expected last year. This years rosters will be better becausee i learned and edited so many things within 2 months after release the rosters last Novemeber. Game doesn't come out my console until the 3rd weekend of the NCAA tourny.

Deepball757 10-07-2012 08:37 AM

"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

NEC

CentralCT st.
Kyle Vinales (SG) – H’e all thatleft from this high scoring 3-man gunning team. One of the highest in thenation last season. Know where he is at all times. He will attempt as many 3’s as FT during your season.

LUIBrooklyn.

Julian Boyd (C ) – He will beatyou from all over the court (looking at around 18ppg). When he’s inside, lookout for Brickman and Thompson their guards for the three. Typical inside-outsidegame here.

Mountst. Mary’s.
Kelvin Parker (SF) – this freakshould be the “goto” man this year. He’s too athletic to stay in thisconference next year if he’s not handed the keys to the team right now. Expectto get dunked on, pause the game, then check his vertical and then look up thisthread. You will say, wow he did tell us.

RobertMorris.

Veltra Jones(SG) and CoronWilliams (PG) – These guys will shoot a lot and if you think you can stop bothof them, the athletic PF Vaughn Morgan is waiting down low. Pick your poison orjust bit** out of this conference.

BIG WEST

CSFullerton

D.J. Seeley (SF) and DariusNelson (PF) – these big time transfers can ball, now Seeley is a senior butNelson is a redshirt freshman from UTEP. There will be dunks, there will bethrees, this team is for real, I’m not smoking any trees.

LongBeach st.

Mike Caffey (PG) and Ennis (SG) –this great team lost it’s front court, but make that up getting power conftransfers Freeland and Jennings. This team won’t miss a beat. Mike Caffey isthe new Casper Ware.

UCRiverside

Tajai Johnson (PG) and DominiqueTaplin (SG) – These guys are like and -1 ballers. Watch the tapes. There is noway this school could land this type of talent and keep them. The good news issince this is released before the season, we can imagine and correct itlater. TJohnson is a freshman and willcome off the bench in my game but get significant minutes. I want to see your reaction5 minutes into the game “Who is that” After he dunks on yo a**
BIG SOUTH

CoastalCarolina

Kierre Greenwood (PG) –With mostof his team going down the street to Myrtle Beach, he ‘s one of 2 guys left.Raffa (PG) will try to hold it down. Nothing to fear, this team’s 3 year runhas hit its climax.

VMI

Stan Okoye (PF) – You know whenyou download my rosters and play VMI, it will be and up and down game. Now theyonly have this PF, but he will score from 24 feet in. Don’t bi** out and turn the stamina off, keepup with them and make your subs. Avoid this team if you like slow play.

UNC ASHVILLE

Hornsby (SG) Atkinson (PF) Lane(SF) - this team loses it’s top twoscorers, but has 3 athletic guys at the top of the scoring chart. You mightwant to make them pull up, otherwise they will shut your crowd up.

BIG SKY

EastWashington

Chiverton (SF) – the senior willput up points and the team is trying to go from scrubs to respectable.

Montana

Wil Cherry (PG) – He will score20 a game and this senior dunking NBA prospect PG needs to be respected. He hasJamar (SF) waiting the the wings if you try to stop him. In season 2, worryabout Jamar.

NorthColorado

Tate Unruh (SG)- He may not bethe leading scorer in season, but he will be at least 2nd and double digits. Idon’t give many 80 ratings for 3-point shooters on my rosters unless yournumbers look like this 130 attempts, 46% from downtown. So you better check hisa**. He can easily put up 30 if you leave him open or play zone.

ATLANTIC-SUN

USCUpstate

Torrey Craig (SF) – one of myfavorite players. He will eat you up alive. Ty Greene (SG) will be waiting ifyou try to stop him.

NorthFlorida

Parker Smith(SG) – He has a 79three point rating. Enough said. Why not 80 you ask? 230 attempts 41% lastseason. In simulation which I’m looking at now, he avg. 10ppg and shot 2263-points on the season. I guarantee you, when you play this team, he will scoremore than 15pts.

East TennesseeState

You never know with this team. Many graduated, so I hope redshirt freshman Lester Wilson gets to do what hewants. He’s the most athletic player on this team. They are known for notshooting too many threes so give them some room so ur guy doesn’t end up on hisback under the net.

Belmont(now OVC)

Ian Clark (SG) and KerronJohnson (PG) – they will score 15 a piece and if you stop one the other willmake up for it. I remember creating IClark 3 years ago and he’s been gunningever since. Now he has a license for it.

AEC

Maine

Justin Edwards (SF) – One mangunning crew. The sophomore is a mild shooter with plenty of athleticism. Not athreat to lose to them.

BostonU.

Jake O’Brien (C ) – The senioris one of the rare Center gunners. He has range from 3.

Albany

Jayson Guerrier (SG) and Chris Page(SF) – These guys have plenty of athleticism and will be fun to play. Suerograduated so someone has to make up the 21 ppg and 479 shot attempts he left behind. This is the team to watch out for as Four McGlynn is no longer on Vermont.

SOUTHERN

Appalachianst.

Trice (SF) – bigtime scorer andtransfer from power conf. He’s in his 2nd and final year. They alsohave transfers Okam and Canty form power conf, so this team will remain a forcethrough your dynasty.

Citadel

Groselle (C ) – He should scareyou becauwe the team can’t play defense. But if you can’t either it will beinteresting.

Charlston

Baru (PF) – You should rememberhim from last season. He will continue to beast from down low, which Lawerence(PG) will take care of the rest.

Davidson

Jake Cohen (C ) – the mosttalented gunning center in the game. It’s impossible to stop him. He has3-point range. De’Mon Brooks will also bang down low so get your reboundingskills in order.

UNCGreensboro

Trevis Simpson (SF) – you shouldremember him last year. He posterized someone on Tennessee. The junior willscore over 20 and there may be some game stoppages if he breaks the rim.

That's what i like to hear, some small conference love. I hope Craig stays all 4 years. Also if Upstate continues to do well, i see them changing conferences. Have you gone to any games? If so who did they play

"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13 (X360)

OVC

TennesseeTech

Jud Dilliard (SG) – He won’t score too much from behind the arc so expect dribble drive. He has 3 athletic guys right behind him including freshman PG Deondre Haynes. A 90 vertical rating by means there is video evidence that he can bring it.

TennesseeState

Robert Covington (PF) – enjoy this last season with this gunning PF with range from all over. They are one of the few teams to beat Murray state last season.

Murrayst.

Isiah Cannon (PG) – Yes he didn’tenter the draft. You saw what he did last year, now his scoring help is gone. He will score too many points against you. Also they still have the Mr. Ed Daniel with his high fro jumping all over the place and they have a freshman who maybe the sickest dunker I’ve created so far this season Terron Gilmore (PF). Watch the film, I bet you’ll watch it twice.

IVY

COLUMBIA

Barbour (PG) and Lyles(SG) – they will take turns shooting. They are average 3-point shooters so no worry. All bad teams in this game are designed with no defense.

Harvard

Big 4 – Rivard (sniper) Webster, Casey and Curry. You should remember them from last year. There will be problems if you’re not ready to play them especially in their building.

Princeton

Hummer (SF) – tough team and tough player. You will have a problem shadowing this man. He has athletic ability so don’t get embarrassed.
PATRIOT

Bucknell

Mike Muscala (C ) and Byson Johnson (PG) – this will make Bucknell tuff, the inside out combo. These seniors will have high offensive awareness so they won’t fall for any of your gitchin bul**. Expect a loss if you come see them in NY.

Lehigh

C.J. McCollum (SG) – You were warned last season. This is the most talented gunning small conference player. After beating Duke on national TV. They proved they are better than 70% of thepower conf teams. Simple math Duke is better than 80% and they beat Duke on neutral floor. Expect him to be top 3 in scoring in your season. Also their PG McKnight and Bigman Knutson will keep you honest.

MAAC

Canisius

HWashington (PG)- if 6”1 players get you upset, here’s one of them. The team isn’t good but with any gunner in this game, you know from experience to not let them get hot early or else.

Siena

Evan Hymes (PG) – Same as above except he’s 5”8. Don’t get embarrassed

Loyola(MD)

Balanced attack. One of the top teams in conference. Etherly (PF) is the exact defeiniton of power forward, so you better recognize.

Rider

Why is this team listed? They are always the most athletic team in the MAAC. So look out for Anthony Miles(SG) who will finally get playing time and high flying freshman PG Zedric Sadler.

Iona

Lamont Jones (PG) – He came here for this reason, to be a senior gunner. This former PAC-10 star no longer has Machado to steal shots. He will let Armand shoot 3’s (79 rating), but otherwise it will all be about him in this high octane offense.

MAC

WesternMichigan

Austin Richie (PG) – he has help from Pokey (79 3pt rating) but this guy, as predicted in my thread last year, will be the next Jimmer Fredette. If he’s not scoring 20ppg this season, it has to be next season.

Ohio

DJ Cooper (PG) – could be best player in conference. The senior led his team to an NCAA tourney victory last season and brings back a lot of experience. Kellogg (SG) rating of 80 is a problem too, who can go off whenever you let him (199 attempts 43%) . Don't even think about playing zone.

Kent st.

Holt (SG) and Chris Evans (PF)-you already know what you’re gonna get when you play this team, so let’s get to the point. Who are the high flyers? Chris Evans will make his name known within the first 5 minutes of the game, trust me.

Buffalo

Javon Mccrea (PF) – Only a junior and will lose to DJ Cooper for Conference Player of the year for that reason. He will score 20 a game from mid-range, which is not seen often. He lost a lot of his help including Filtzen his spot up 3pt shooter.

Akron

Zeke Marshall (C )- Will average close to 20pts and 10 reb and be mid-major conf player of the year. This 4-star recruit has magically stayed at Akron all 4 years. I remember creating him 3 years ago like it was yesterday. Don’t bring the ball inside as it will be ascending the other way.

HORIZON

Valparaiso

Ryan Broekhoff (PF) – outstanding shooter who can’t be fouled. He should be doubled as the rest of the team is nohelp.

Greenbay

Alec Brown (C )- He has a complete team around him but he will score 18ppg. Cerroni will spot up and PG Sykes will drive. This team is a Legacy first season nightmare

Detroit

Ray McCallum (PG)- He hasn’t left for the NBA yet? The 4-star recruit is looking at CONF player of the year if his team can come in the top 3 in conference and that should happen. I told you what Doug Anderson could do last year and i know you saw him on multiple highlights on ESPN. When I tell you to watch the highlighht film, i mean it. He will bite into McCallum’s points.

Butler

Complete mystery especially withP G play. You’re dead everywhere else. Their defense will be enough for you to worry about. If you’re playing them in their building either change your schedule or look at it this way, it will help your RPI, cuz you are certain to lose.

WAC

San Josest.

James Kinney (SG) – why is this horrible team getting airtime? This man has a 79 3pt rating and will be shooting all the time. You could take a loss here if your defense sucks. embarrasing.

Nevada

Deonte Burton (PG)- 20 per gamescorer and outstanding PG. He has hops and he can really shoot. If that’s not enough, Story (SG) will clean the rest up (226 attempts 42%) that means 80 rating.

Fresno st.

Kevin Olekaibe (SG) - He will take every shot if you let him. Another good player on a bad team. The WAC should be fun.

C-USA

Memphis

Joe Jackson (PG) and AThomas(PF) – this is the last year for this team in this mediocre conference. They added more athleticism with Damien Wilson (SF). You will get run out of their gym.

SMU

London Giles (PG) – great shooter and will graduate this season Larry Brown has recruited some serious transfers that will play in your 2nd season. Don’t be surprised if they catch the top 25 season 2.

So. Miss

Neil Watson (PG) – he lost the players under him so his ppg will rise. If you pay him too close attention you have to worry about JUCO transfer Michael Craig (SF/PF) who will rock the rim during your game.

Tulsa

Scootie Haralson (SF) – decent shooter, big and athletic. No excuse to not know where he is, you can see his big bald head from anywhere. Freshman Shaquile Harrison is nice and will be the heir apparent.

MVC

Drake

Ben Simons(PF) – Their best player transferred to a power conf team, so now this 6”8 guy will be taking over. With a 79 rating (181 attempts 43%), you better know who he is quick.

Evansville

Colt Ryan (SG) – enjoy your last year of him. He must be close to setting a scoring record either in the MVC or state. 218 attempts 44%, that’s what you have to face with my rosters. Good luck. I know, bit** out and play Evansville season 2.

NorthernIowa

Adam Koch(C ) and Anthony James(PG)– the awareness level for these seniors is high and this team always has 4 to 5 shooters on the court. You might as well let them drive. Giving up 2 pts is better than giving up 3.

Wichita st.

Balanced. All 5 starters are gone, but they have a bright spot. JUCO transfer Cleanthony Early. This team will be so much better season 2, so don’t get comfortable if you’re playing a season in the MVC.

Creighton

McDermott (SF) – this guy is a lottery NBA pick with the moves he has. He will be everywhere just like last year but even worse.

Now I'm caught up, next up WCC then MWC.

Yea two of Harvard's starters have already withdrawn (Kyle Casey and Brandyn Curry). They still have Laurent Rivard, Christian Webster, and 7-footer Okam. They will still have a solid team but maybe not as dominant as expected. Won't be too surprised to see them win the conference again though.

However, Cornell should be pretty good this year. They recruited a pretty good big man who was on the 19U Canadian team and is 6'11 250 lbs. They also still have Errick Peck who should have a good season.

It's nice to see you give some love to Tennessee State too. They should be a very solid team this year in an increasingly competitive OVC especially with the addition of Belmont.

Since 2007, my freshman year, I've probably attended most (75-80 percent) of the home games.

Lol they have a longgggg way to go before they can think about changing conferences. My first 4 years there they were constantly a 4-6 win team, until last year they had a breakout year. They won more games last year than my first 4 years there combined lol. The coaches have done a great job tho and brought in some good recruiting classes so hopefully we'll have another strong season.

I wish I had a 360 so I could see what you do with my alma mater. But I guess I'll just have to check in on this thread lol.

Deepball757 10-11-2012 12:17 AM

"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012

WCC

SanDiego

Johnny Dee (PG) – this exciting freshman did not disappoint. Outstanding shooter (79 rating 3pt). They were playing to PG last year same time, but now with transfer Mike Davis from Texas Tech, this may change.

SantaClara

Kevin Foster (SG) - He got more help last year after losing a quality big man due to injury. Now Roquemore (PG) and Trasolini (C ) may cut into Foster’s gunning time. Foster regardless will remain as one of the best all-time gunners in College hoops 2k8 history.

SanFrancisco

Avry Holmes (PG) – going out a limb thus far in early October, but this freshman is impact and the 2nd best high flyer so far other than Moody from Florida Atlantic. Most of the team is gone and transfer De’End Parker from UCLA just may take over. This coach has a history of making his PG the leading scorer on the team. (Mike Williams for 3 years). We’ll see how much playing time Chinese national Tao Xu gets.

LoyolaMarymount

Anthony Ireland (PG) – he brokeout early last season when he beat UCLA and I talked mad sh** about the Pac-10 last season early. Senior PF Ashley Hamilton needs to be watched downlow as the only legitimate threat there, but he does shoot from all over. Expect PG Bruce English to play alongside Ireland as this 92 vertical sophomore superstar either plays or transfers to a powerconference. I don’t see Clyde Drexler’s son doing anything this season.

Gonzaga

Entire team. They stay intact from last year. The 2 new freshman are nothing to get excited about. Pangos and Bell are outstanding 3-point shooting sophomores and Eli Harris and Edi are outstanding dunkers. The 5th player is a mystery but you have enough to worry about guarding the arc and not getting dunked on. You can’t have both.

BYU

You remember Jimmer Fredette, well Carlino (PG) as predicted has already started ; scoring 15ppg in his freshman season. He will share duties with Brandon Davies ( C ) who’s sperm count is back for his last season. Carlino will go off next year for 22+ if he stays, they have done nothing to replenish their bench, but Dave Rose knows how to recruit so somebody must be a sleeper. Classic inside out combo with Zykstra (SG) as a sharp shooter.

MWC

AIR FORCE

Mike Lyons (SF) – the gunning senior will abandon ship after this season. The team isn’t that good so no worries, just don’t let him get hot.

NEWMEXICO

Kendall Williams (PG) – Been highon him since he was a freshman. Now the team is his. He will play off guard in the beginning of the half, then switch to PG, so watch him. No impact freshman on the roster.

WYOMING

Leonard Washington ( C ) – This big guy will be enough to handle and you might as well if he doesn’t foul you out, they got Martinez and Cruz spotting up and Nance jr, ready to drive. Complete team here, you should be in a close match.

TCU

Balanced. Power conf transfer Abron (C ) makes the team competitive. This is supposed to be a SF/PF team, but they have a nice freshman PG Charles Hill (92 vertical) check him out!!

SANDIEGO ST.

Tapley (SG)- The sharp shooter will launch and you will have problems stopping him since Polee (PF) will dunk anytime he’s with 7 feetof the basket. Rahon the 3-point specialist when San Diego st was ranked #2 in the nation, had an off year and his rating dropped. Freshman SF Matt Shrigley is impressive.

UNLV

There’s not enough time to talk about this team. Too much athleticism. You should remember last year when the embarrassed North Carolina by 20pts. This team is the real deal. You’ll get dunked on even when they clear the bench. Freshman Savon Goodman (PF) may not get any playing time cuz they got a 5-star freshman at the same position. And his highlight film is nothing to f** with.

Next up A-10 then my favorite conference, Colonial.

"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

ATLANTIC-10

DAYTON

Not much here. Ohio state transfer Sibert will come into play in your second season.

GEORGEWASHINGTON

Kethan Savage (PG) – the onlyreason why this team was worth the paper is because of this freshman. GWash has had a gunning PG for 3 years (TTaylor) and I don’t expect it to stop as the team has nothing to look forward to. My man can get up.

LASALLE

Galloway (SG) – He will lead the unusual 4 guard attack. Makes an interesting play as you will have to guard the line constantly.

UMASS

Chaz Williams (PG) – This teamis pretty serious and has a lot of athleticsm. Lalanne (C ) blocks everything that moves. Raphiael Putney (PF) will tear down the rim on the rebound. Youhave a lot to worry about here.

RHODEISLAND

Jordan Hare (C ) – this freshman should be impact. This team is horrible so no reason to not get playing time. He’s too athletic and talented to not play. Makes the video game more fun with him dominating. That’s why I aim to release the rosters before the coach makes a stupid decision.

RICHMOND

Brothers (SG) and KAnthony (PG)-they will shoot until they can’t shoot anymore. And their percentages are good so they need to be checked. Deion Taylor(SF) freshman is a reason to get excited as he should make the highlight film in your game. No reason for him not to be starting.

ST.JOSEPH’S

CJ Aiken (PF) – he’s not the leading scorer on the team, but he’s the highest rated player in the conference. His massive dunks have been on espn, so you must have seen it. He averages 3.5 blocks per game , just sick this man. Must see TV.

ST.LOUIS

KMitchell (PG) and Cody Ellis(PF) – These are the only 3-point threats. So the other 3 will be driving. These seniors will go down with a fight.

XAVIER

Nothing here. Team will be a surprise as their picked to finish 8th on conference. Myles Davis(SG) seems to be their only young bright spot.

TEMPLE

Whatt (SG) - Terrific 3-point shooter, but Randall (SF)may be the star player. Too many unknowns including Dalton Pepper from West Virginia, who redshirted last season.

Next up Colonial, then finally the POWER CONFERENCES

Deepball757 10-19-2012 06:40 AM

"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

COLONIAL

WILLIAM& MARY

Not much roster change. Like Lasalle, will run zone defense with 4 guards on the court. Makes for an interesting changeup

HOFSTA

Well put together team with transfers. Buie (Penn st.) McDaniel (UCONN) and Shaquille Stokes (Hawaii, if he gets waiver). Lookout for freshman Darren Payen, he dunks all over the place. Hofsta finds another oversized SF with talent, just like MMoore, the gunner who graduated last season.

GEORGIASTATE

Not much here as their lineup lost many players. Manny Atkins(PF) – will lead the way, but at least they have one nice freshman Markus Crider (PF) who will be in beast mode down low.

UNCWILLMINGTON

Rendleman (PF) - He will also block your shot. No threat from the arc, they have Milson (SG) for that, so they will get one or the other.

DELAWARE

This crew five has not changed and should be a good team this season. This team is guard oriented so they will try to run you out the gym. Saddler (PG), Threatt (PG) and you better check the line. KAnderson will be spotting up to take advantage of you.

OLD COMINION

Batten (PG) and NWright (PF) –these guys will pick up the slack now that legendary 2k8 rosters hoops star Kent Brazmore has graduated and joined the Lakers. Donte Hill (SG) is the most athletic player on the team. If he decides to shine, this team will once again be rugged match to deal with. Their recruiting class is excellent and fits their playing style. They are ready to be a force in conference USA next season.

VCU

Jvonte Reddic (C ) He willreturn to the sender every time. Lineup stays intact except their best player Burgess. But his younger brother freshman Jordan Burgess will be an impact player at some point. They will be as last year’s rosters one of the top 2 defensive teams in the NCAA. Their defenseawareness will be high and you won’t like playing them. They have some serious freshman bigmen. Alie-Cox and Tuoyo are two monsters that will follow the principles of Jvonte Reddic. I must say Shaka is pretty f’in smart.

DREXEL

Massenat (PG) and Damion Lee(SG)- Looks like them vs VCU for the title. These are the best teams (George Mason didn’t do much this offseason and lost their best player). Playing Drexel will be like playing against the Seattle Seahawks (tall CBs). At 6”4 junior Frantz Massenat is a problem. Fouch(PG) will come off the bench and the senior will be chucking the ball up every chance he gets. And of course Damion Lee, if don’t remember who he is, you may not be as much as a college b-ball fan as u think you are. This sophomore is NBA bound and doesn’t need to transfer to get drafted. He will shoot until he can’t shoot anymore. This team is designed to be one of the best offensive schools non-power. Just take your loss with dignity.

You might want to take a closer look at PG Kevin Dillard. Guy was a stud last year for the Flyers.

I will try to rememberto watch the footage. I don'texpect him to gooff because Benson is still there. Dillards 13ppg and 32.5% 3-PT shooting didn't impress me much. With 3 senior starters he maynot be allowed to gun. He could be one of the best passers in the NCAA like Machado last year.

tentative release date:
Friday Nov 9th

This is opening night for most teams. I like to release them before their first game. My excel counter sheet says i have 73 teams left. I must average 3.5 teams per day to reach this goal. I need 3 days after roster completion to fine tune everything. I will keep you posted. So far no roster error message thank God.

"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

PAC-12

USC

J.T. Terrell (SG) – the former Wake Forest star is predicted to take this shabby, would be 4th in the Colonial conference, teamwithout a problem. If you want to get your RPI up during your season, play USC and double team Terrell.

ARIZONA ST.

Felix (SF) and Gordon (SG) and Barnes (SG) and Carson (PG) –it could be tough for these guys to gel together but 3 of the 4 redshirted, which Felix took control of the offense last year. Felix wil hurt you inside and the other 3 everywhere else. Don’t let this team’s 10-21 record last season fool you.

WASHINGTON ST.

With their best player dismissed Reggie Moore, this team is shopping for a PG right now. At least they have Motum (PF) – right now, who put up 18 PPG. Look for him to shoot often especially from behind the arc. Theteam’s best player may be a freshman. SG/SF Que Johnson, he’s the most athletic player on the team and should fit right in that starting lineup as this team isa stong candidate for the basement in conference.

OREGON ST.

Starks (PG) and Collier (PF) – decent inside out game. You will get a little from Nelson, but beware of Brandt (PF) off the bench, wherehis 6”10 self will be shooting 3’s. Losing Cunningham to the draft seems damaging but they made it up with Freshman Langston Morris- Walker (SG). The highlight film is worth watching. This man is the truth.

STANFORD

Bright and Randle (PG/SG) have great 3point shooting percentages. The team stays in tact with some 4-star freshman on the bench. After watching the tapes they might be 4-star by their senior year (Rosco Allenand Grant Verhoeven). This team lacked defensive statistics last year and they will pay for it with my rosters.

UCLA

Too much talent. Someone is going to transfer or leave the team. Last year this over hyped team got beat badly by Loyola Marymount early inthe season and people left. Will this year be more of the same? NO too much size. The Wear brothers aren’t going anywhere and they recruited an Elden Brand clone Tony Parker (C ). They have the number 1 and 2 overall recruits in the country Kyle Anderson and Shabazz Muhammad. Defense will be this team’s downfall as there are two shot blockers on the team and one of them doesn’t play 10 minutes a game.

CALIFONIA

Allen Crabbe (SF) – This is a complete team takeover. With no more Gutierez, this oversized SF will be unstoppable. He’s gonna get his. Candidate for leading scorer in the conference.

OREGON

E.J. Singler (SF) – With the 2 other scores gone, he takesover as lone wolf. His 90% FT rating makes him impossible to guard

WASHINGTON

Suggs (SG) and Wilcox (SF) and Gaddy (PG) – the team is built around these 3 men. Amazingly this team has no impact freshman. Last year’s freshman Wroten took over the team last year and ended up in the NBA. This team has some serious jumping ability.

ARIZONA

This team has 2 starting 5’s. Let’s put it this way, they have a JUCO PF Matt Korcheck that’s fast, explosive and broke the glass on a dunk. I didn’t even mention the three 5 star players and their 4 star player (who in my eyes is no question a 5-star player) He’s a clone of NJohnson. I raved about NJohnson last preseason and he took that team over eventually. 6”2 Gabe York, watch the tapes. Avoid playing this team at all cost unless you like to watch highlight dunks happen against you. If you like to control power conference teams (I don’t) this is right up your alley.

NEXT UP BIG 12 (63 teams remaining)

Finally some west coast love haha! I am in Oregon so I watch predominantly Pac-12/WCC/BWC/WAC, its looking alot better than the last few years though. Que Johnson didn't qualify btw at WSU, supposedly gonna practice but we'll see, I bet he ends up at JUCO, shame too, WSU needed him badly I think Motum is legit though, you see the numbers he put up this summer for Australia?

I'm looking forward to these rosters. Fellas like you keep the game alive year to year. I was going to try my hand at this in the summer(even did some preliminary research on teams), but having a new baby certainly makes it harder to follow through.

Will there be any restrictions that prevent the file from being uploaded to 2kshare?

That sucks Raider. That made that team better. Maybe they'll fix his entrance exam or pull a Ryan Braun where the test didn't count cuz he didn't put his name on it. Yeah Motum has the stats i can't deny that. I can't wait to watch last year's footage on him once my rosters are completed 2 or 3 days before i release.

Also yes, these will be on 2k share unless some problem arises.

Also if you know something other than what's on the Maryland website let me know. If they have a JUCO player and he has u-tube footage, let me know.

You can hijack away, you know you're always welcome. Nobody knows the work that's put in better than you. That sucks, but if Kaleb is likely gonna leave that works out. I'm no high on Kaleb, he looks more like a project to me. Unless he plans on playing overseas next year.

Deepball757 10-26-2012 06:40 AM

"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

BIG -12

Colorado

Andre Roberson(PF) – He’s in the top 2 of having the best vertical in my game. Now he has 2 bigtime scorers gone and a young team around him. Freshman XavierJohnson (SG/SF) looks pretty good to replace what they had in CBrown. 2nd year PG Dinwiddie needs to be watched. He’ll score pts too.

TexasTech

Nobody – This team would've finish 6th in the OVC conference last season. Their all word palyer Spencer is gone, their best recruit Aaron Ross is out for the year in a freak accident (not like Final Destination 2) last month. Can’t get any worse. But for video game reasons, it makes this team a team to control if you want to player in a Power conference and control a bad team. That’s right up my alley.

TexasA&M

Elston Turner (SG)- I expect him to put up big numbers with the rest of his cavalry gone. Antwan Space transfers over for next seasons use.

Oklahoma

This lineup didn’t change much at all. There are no impact freshman. Boring!! and they were 15-16 last season.

Oklahomast.

Markel Brown (SG) – waiting for this future NBA player to be handed the keys. This team isn’t very deep but don’t get caught in the movie Above the Rim starring Olukemi, MBrown and LNash. All they need is a passing PG.

Iowa st.

Korie Lucious (PG) - This team was holding on to the most talented transfers last season. Now with a year to practice, they should be able to build on losing Royce White. This team has good chemisty and senior play. Expect a possible a** kicking in your first season.

Kansasst.

McGruger (SG)- like Iowa st. bunch of juniiors and seniors and returning experience. No impact freshman with the new coach from Illinois.

Texas

Kabongo (PG) and Ridley ( C )- this team had a lot of hype last year and didn’t deliver. This team is about 7 deep and will rely on abunch of sophomores and juniors. They should be dominant in your 3rd season in Legacy. Then again half their team may declare next year.

Baylor

Pierre Jackson (PG) – he stole this team (JUCO transfer last season) and will be the instant offense. You have to worry about Heslip (82 3pt rating) in the corner. So how do they replace Q Acy andthe Jones duo from last season? With Isaiah Austin ( C ) – who is the highest rated freshman I’ve come across so far. And I said so far. This team will continue to do what it normally does. Lead the NCAA is dunks, vertical leaping and bad shooting. This is a bad a**team with a senior PG

Missouri

Pressey (PG) – the team lost a lot and they have greatt ransfers that will play next season. How well will senior Bowers recover from last season’s injury, anyone’s guess but I’m gonna still say he’s still one of the top 5 leapers in the game. Remember this team isn’t better than Norfolk st. , who beat them on a neutral court, so this team may not be as good as you think they are.

Kansas

Can’t sleep on this team no matter what their roster looks like. They should be guard led EJohnson and Releford, but at least they have someone that could replace TRobinson, that’s freshman Perry Ellis (PF), who may not even start ahead of Jamari Traylor( freshman that redshirted last season). After returning the rosters later, all their players will likely get awareness boosts.

Nebraska

Nothing to say, maybe Martinez can play PG after football season is over, otherwise they will be relying on some inexperienced player to lead the team.

Next up ACC then Big 10 (51 teams remaining)

Deepball757 10-28-2012 05:46 PM

"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

ACC

BostonCollege

Nothing to see here. Candidates for the cellar again this year.

GeorgiaTech

Udofia (PG) – with Grice jr dismissed, he takes the teamover. Not that good of shooter. Freshman Robert Carter (PF) looks real good(vertical)

WakeForrest

CHarris (SG) and TMcKie (SF) – this duo will try to bringthe school back to respectable. Their future looks real good with Freshmen Moto(PF) and PG Codi Millier-Mcintryre who have some serious bounce. They will befun to play against.

VirginiaTech

Erick Green (PG) – he takes over the team by default. Really good shooter. This team is real young , expect them to rise to power in season 2/3 of your legacy. Freshman ( PF ) Marshall Wood is serious and will come off the bench and try to tear the rim down.

Maryland

Team may revert back to ordinary with leading scorer in the conference Stoglins gone.Transfers Logan Aronhalt and Dezmine Wells will have to wait a season and then they will be bad as a mufu.

Clemson

Jennings and Booker (PF/C) - The perimeter guys are all gone. They will depend on a lot of 2nd year players and transfer from BYU Demarcus Harrison. They should be that great with a young backcourt.

Miami(FLA)

DScott (SG) and Kadji (PF) – nice inside out combo. Expect redshirt freshman Bishop Daniels (PG) to get his. I was really high on this manlast season. Unbelievable leaping ability.

Virginia

JHarris (SF) and Brogdon (SG)- typical motion offense setup her with the 2and 3 doing most of the scoring. Watch out for freshman Justin Anderson (SG) [ must watch video ] He’ll come off the bench and instantly dunk in your face. This man is ridiculous and NBA material, 5-star player in my book, no question.

NC State

They return 4 starters and one of their McDonald’s all Americansmust crack this lineup, so guessing Rodney Purvis (SG). Otherwise this is CJLeslie and Lorenzo Brown’s team. Scoot woods 80 3pt rating 40% on 232 attempts makes this team dangerous from every direction.

Floridast.

Snaer (SG) –you know if you’ve downloaded my rosters for the last 4 years that Florida st. will bring rugged defense. Only VCU defense iscomparable to this ruggedness. JUCO transfer Robert Gilchrist is no f’in joke. He will get significant minutes

GeorgiaTech

Udofia (PG) – with Grice jr dismissed, he takes the teamover. Not that good of shooter. Freshman Robert Carter (PF) looks real good(vertical)

NorthCarolina

Expect a balanced team here. They have 2 very nice freshman. Marcus Paige (PG) is an exact clone of Kendall Marshall. In the highlight video they show Roy Williams at his high school gym watching the game. You know what that means, team takeover. J.P.Tokoto (SF) –this man is just ridicously explosive. This is Harrison Barnes replacement if he learns how to shoot, he may already know how.

Duke

Seth Curry (PG) – he takes over I don’t care what anyone says. I’m high on the Curry family. This team lacked defense and post presence on defense that’s why Lehigh beat them in the tourney and really handed it to them. (thus Lehigh was better than Duke last season) I’m not seeing the defensive intensity but that’s what’s great about coach K. He knows why they lost and he isn’t afraid to let the best player take the team over like Austin Rivers last year. Freshman Rasheed Sulaimon has that best chance. He’s the highest rated freshman so far on a high rated team.

Next up BIG 10 , then SEC 39 teams remaining, unless Hurricane Sandy causes a disruption.

Awesome. I can't wait for the release. If it holds to form, that Nov 9th weekend will be a busy gaming weekend for me. If I get a chance or come across any information related to any of the NYC local area squads, I'll pass it along to you. LIU has a few players from their squad that are currently on probation in relation to some incident that took place. They were initially suspended but allowed back on the team. Probation, anger management classes and I think they will be forced to sit out 2 NEC conference games. Julian Boyd is the top dog on the team but Jamal Olasawere is a good ball player as well. They are projected to finish at the top of the conference once again.

Former Johnnie, Nurideen Lindsay's journey has led him to Rider. I anticipate him performing closer to the guy that was a top flight JUCO player and big time HS scorer. He looked good at the beginning for SJU but fizzled until he transferred.

Unfortunately bad news. The hurricane has knocked out my power and I haven't been able to do rosters for the last 2minute days. The rosters will certainly not be ready by NOV 9th. I will try to watch footage on all rookies and prominent JUCO players with my phone or whatever I can find. If this is successful, I can fly by doing each team. I left off on the Michigan with top 3of teams remaining in the BIG 10. Then I was gonna do SEC and BIG EAST. There has been no timetable on the power returning. This is not as the insurance company's call "an act of God" but an act of Nature. God had nothing to do with this happening. I will see y'all on the flip side as soon as I get back power.Piece

No prob. Stay safe and hopefully your power returns soon. We'll still be here lol so we ain't trying to rush you. Sandy put a figurative foot in the Northeast's ***. The MTA buses and trains aka NYC's circulatory system has been shut down and we had the rash of fires and downed trees. Lower Manhattan in darkness. The folks out in Jersey took a straight kidney punch with devastation and despair left in Sandy's wake.

Re: "TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

I'm back in business. Got power restored SAT night and now have 28 teams remaining. Standard procedure is this (1) rosters get completed (2) 3 days later put on 2kshare. Had the storm not done damage, rosters would've been completed on Tues, then released FRI. Now its looking like a 3day delay. I won't be using the boxscores of Fridays games to determine who starts and who doesn't. First if I do that for one team then i do it for all 328 teams (further delaying the roster) and Second, power conference teams usually don't give their players the minutes they normally would. You may see a senior starting because they're playing a cupcake or you may see all 15 players getting run. I will use the preseaon boxscores to determine lineups,if there's no preseason boxscore on the team's website then I will use my own opinion on the starters. Of course u can change them to whatever you want once downloaded.

Thanks Big W. You should be able to give me your prediction after you read the Wisconsin summary which I'm about to send. Your team finds a way every time to have a good record with the same stategy. Bunch of 3's and a versitile bigman.

Deepball757 11-05-2012 07:26 PM

"TRUE GAMEPLAY ROSTERS" 2012-13

BIG 10

Penn st.

Frazier (PG)- average shooter, but will take most of the shots. I’m waiting for Ross Travis to take over. One would assume if they don’tlet him,he will transfer to a better school or enter the NBA draft. He will be the goto man in season 2 and beyond.

Iowa

Nothing to impress here. Good news, they have two 4-star recruits. Bad news, they really are 3-stars If that. Both are from Iowa. The minute they play against the rest of the country, they’ll get a reality check. Woodbury and Gesell (check the footage if you don’t believe). Not getting a high rating out of me.

Northwestern

Drew Crawford (SF) – the senior will take most of the shots, but he’s only a 70% FT shooter, so you might as well foul him before he getshot. This is a decent offensive team. Jershon Cobb(SG) is still explosive.

Illinois

Paul and Richardson (PG / SG) – this senior combo is tough because of the high awareness level. Not only will they score, they will find these high flying sophomore big men for dunks. This team is deep.

Minnesota

Mbakwe and RWilliams (PF/ PF) - With Mbawke granted another year , this team becomes a heavy favorite for the NCAA tourney. Freshman Wally Ellenson (SG) 6”4 is as bad as they come. They smooth lefty will surprise you when he dunks unexpectedly so now you’re not surprised. Hey Iowa, this is what a 4-star player looks like, watch the video.

Purdue

With the Hummel era over, it should be Lawson (PF) team to take over since they lost a lot of players. D.J. Byrd will be the sniper. I will know more when I see the preseason boxscore. They start the season 2012 off pretty seriously with Bucknell, then Hofstra. They could be 1-1

Wisconsin

With no more JordanTaylor it’s anyone’s guess who’s gonna step up or run the point. One thing that certain is there will be a lot of 3pt shooting and slow play. Five star freshman Sam Dekker (SF) should be the leading scorer off the bench, but eventheir 6”2 walk-on Showalter can dunk so don’t get embarrassed.

Michigan

Hardaway(SG) –and Burke(PG) – you already know what they can do, now let’s talk about the Freshman. Mitch McGary (PF) looks like a left-handed Dirk Nowitski, I hope he gets significant playing time. Glenn Robinson III, plays like his dad, but not as much intensity. Hopefully this will pickup as his career moves on. The potential starting lineup is looking potent. Theonly knock is Haraway’s shooting percentage isn’t that good.

Indiana

Everyone. Starting 5 stays in tact, where Sheehey and Oladipo are your theats to drive/mid-range and they both have pretty good vertical. Then you gotta worry about Wadford (PF) and Zeller (C ) and Wadford stretches out to the arc. After that you gotta worry about maybe the best 3pt shooter in the NCAA Hulls(PG) who has an 83 rating. You are in serious trouble if you’re playing against this team.

Ohio st.

DThomas (PF) – he takes over the team now averaging 16ppg last season and he will have a boost in 3pt attempts form last season. They didn’t do anything as far as recruiting, so they’re relying on their young guys andcould be real good in season 2 and 3 of the dynasty.

Michiganst.

With the DGreen era over, it will be anyone’s guess who takes over. Apling (PG) can’t shoot, Dawson (PF) made himself a force down low. But they do have a nice freshman Gary Harris (SG), who replaces BWood and should make an immediate impact. Their roster only has 11 significant players, expect someone from JUCO to join team later on. This team is really no to be feared, but Izzo knows how to get the best out of players.

Next up SEC , then BIG EAST 28 teams remaining,
