good find...even shows how jersey selection works....I hated how it was done in the past...it was just to slow to show off the jersey selection...

Yeah, jersey selections are much better. Hated it took awhile to see the jerseys.

And they really have to do something w/ those real player pics. Cool idea, but seeing Jeremy Lin in a Rockets uni w/ Lakers in the back is weird. I am sure it'll be changed, but what about for association and when real trades happen and etc?

Wow there's plenty to like in that clip....especially since the user knows how to play 2k...

Re: NBA 2K15 Gameplay - Cavaliers vs Lakers

The menus and everything interface-wise is completely awesome. The gameplay looks better than in previous videos even though I see that pick&rolls still end up being weird most of the time and there was a crazy dunk.

KobeBean8 09-16-2014 07:31 AM

Re: NBA 2K15 Gameplay - Cavaliers vs Lakers

You can tell he knows how to play 2K a little bit. He even went for the charge which shows he played online a lot probably lol.

I don't believe Xavier has hair anymore. Hopefully, they fixed that but this was the best gameplay I've seen so far.

That timeout screen showcased something of a new defensive settings menu..... I cant speak the language, but I am sure I saw something which said "force direction"...... by player aswell, which could be an insanely cool strategic addition.....

SOMEONE TRANSLATE THE REST PLEASE!?!??!?

Haha....

So is Varejaos hair not moving because this is an old build???
He also still looks terrible. As if they didn't scan him...

1) Open shooters
2) Catch & shoot?
3) Limit fast breaks

two new badges:

Juego Psicologico: can disrupt the player rythm

Taponador: makes the percentages of the offensives players decrease when he is near the hoop

His face looks a lot better, but the hair still looks really bad.

Re: NBA 2K15 Gameplay - Cavaliers vs Lakers

Just finished watching. Seems like there will still be a little too much offensive rebounding, which has me worried.

I loved the sequence from Kyrie at 4:28.
But it followed with some major ball morphing/clipping between Kobe and Waiters.
I really don't like the "Vertical" measurement replay. It just doesn't fit with any kind of TV broadcast style.
I don't like that Kyrie passed up the wide open midrange jumper at 6:28 to pass to Waiters for a contested shot.
Screens seem to still be set on spots rather than players. Seems to attribute to the abundance of moving screens.
Hopefully they fix up Lebron's face, especially the beard.
Didn't like Jordan Clarkson doing those crossover spins into the paint with no penalty.

It looks a lot better than it has in the past though. I'm ok with how he looks, except for the hair.

Yeah, you can tell it's Varejao, but he could use some work. Most I've seen has been spot on.

Like those defensive settings a lot

Edit : Kyrie an 86?

Dunk at 4:17 came out of nowhere

My first order of business when the tools become available is to take that toupee off Kyrie Irving's head (irks my soul) and give Varejao a fuller head of hair. Nice video.

not sure the settings am guessing pro, default and the CPU i picking the defense apart with some really great passes (bounce passes included)

At about 5:24 the user was trying the charge cheese at half court.... :jpshakehe

Actually pretty pumped about defense this year....ready to see some direct footage from a recent build...because even in these clips it looks like one on one defense is miles ahead of last year. Surprised that no one had pointed out how defenders are turning their body's on defense. Also, love those defensive settings.

Re: NBA 2K15 Gameplay - Cavaliers vs Lakers

What I liked
- pass at 2:30
- Kobe is not quick and agile as Kyrie(which was the case for 2K14)
- Varejao at 3:45(spin)
- that pick doe at 4:12
- Kyrie at 4:25
- new cameras after shots
- Nash getting stuck at pick at 6:18
- Kyrie at 6:50

I don't like
- since when does KLove not box out? Maybe it was on Pro.
-Varejao at 5:30 -- acrobatic layup when nowhere's around
- 7:45, wtf?

...and I didn't watch further than 7:50.

The first one is old (Mind Games) and has been in 2k14. Not sure about Taponador, could someone translate? Google translate says it's called crowner, which doesn't really make any sense.

In the Pelicans\Rockets clip, the boxing out and rebounding looked great...

It looks more like a jumping contest in this video...

HOPEFULLY that's a case of it being tweaked in the version Harden and Davis were playing.

All the shots the CPU took was inside the paint or just outside it. I didn't see any mid-range or long-range jumpers at all from them.

I know it's a just a short clip but I'm wondering if the CPU will try to get mid-range and long-range shooters open this year?

Spacing iffy also a few awkward movements but overall looks great man. I can't wait for release. I like how nick young came into the game and started shoot right away lmao

I saw two midrange jumpers from the CPU; Kyrie took one from the elbow and Delly took one from between the paint and the corner.

Yeah last year I never saw players like Kyrie , Harden , Dirk etc... Really try to get their own shot on jumpers of off moves like step backs or cross overs . Hopefully that'll be fixed

Other than that I liked the video a lot . Gameplay looks smoother and better paced.

absolutely

spacing looks v.nice
a lot of room to operate
ball handling looks great, love the animation, the other hand guarding the ball hand
graphics are fantastic - from player models to faces
great looking baby hook
dunks are quick and vicious as they're supposed to be

my only gripes
players running animation looks sometimes as they were running in mud
post basket cuts angles are new and great, but the players act akwardly, changing directions suddenly, running and stopping

however, this is the gameplay that makes me want the game and shows the talent the 2k team has

I ncant believe that the CPU still does not take pull up jumpers. Its ridiculous for someone who has not been able to tolerate playing a franchise cause none of the superstars play like themselves without this. How hard is it to program the CPU to use the triple threat or size ups or just take them off the dribble. Does any of the programmers EVER notice the dumb *** passes the CPU decides to throw instead of just taking the contested jumper. They cant be serious, I have seen in every video a ridiculous pass thrown when players like Wade, Melo, Lebron, Kyrie, ect would have pulled up in the defenders face. Im just shaking my head right now. Looks like I will once again not be able to tolerate playing the Association mode cause the CPU superstars will ALWAYS force a dumb pass of force their way to the basket.

lol
Still missing pause and show Defense Settings and other things.
I liked they gave attention to the smallest details (acessories, etc).
When I was younger I liked to edit things like the game Pro Evolution Soccer (grass, boot, etc) and I know how it was laborious and at the same time pleasurable and so admire your work!
Here in Brazil where soccer is the main sport, I remember when I was yonger I won a cap of the Phoenix Suns and so started to like basketball. These are small details that make all the difference in our lives.
Thanks Bed!
