Shouldn't change his rating just because he plays well for a few games.

Should Steph Curry have a 65 3pt rating?

Ok so he deserves a ovr rating boost because he is being talked about in the playoffs? I don't watch many CAVS games but it seems he is still doing the same as he did all year.

Curry is missing a lot of shot plus the CAVS team defense is the one that need a boost.

they need some real motion capture to create his awful moves on the court.

Please no ratings boost because of overreactions.

Like someone else said should we drop Curry's 3 point ratings as well?

Delly is playing better because he has the ball in his hands more.

His defense has been good the entire playoff run

Delly's offense isn't why people are talking about him.

Eh, they did it for Whiteside. Why not?

Re: Does Matthew Dellavedova Needs His OVR Ratings Bumped Up?

The ratings don't mean anything. He can still hit open shots and has good enough stats for anyone to drop 18 with him. If it's on hall of fame difficulty he'll still lock you up cause the CPU defense is tougher, but if you're controlling him and you can't play D then you'll get waxed anyways.

Re: Does Matthew Dellavedova Needs His OVR Ratings Bumped Up?

Nope...no overreactions needed. However, next year they need to look at giving him the Tear Dropper badge as he has developed a nice little floater in the lane.

If the Cavs win then yes. Only if they win.

So they released an 85OVR MyTeam card of him. Together with an 84OVR Iggy. LOL

Re: Does Matthew Dellavedova Needs His OVR Ratings Bumped Up?

JR Smith has better defensive ratings in game. Bradley Beal says that Dellavedova guarded him better than anybody all year. He's getting more recognition now in the Finals more than ever for obvious reasons, but he's a tough defender and I think his defense ratings should go up. That's about it though, his other ratings seem about right and his 3 PT rating may be a little high.

Question, does Delly still need that update? LOL

Re: Does Matthew Dellavedova Needs His OVR Ratings Bumped Up?

NO...the media has been overrating him. He's a straight scrub and his 3pt shooting rating should be a lot lower. Real Cavs fans been asking for a real back up PG since the beginning of the season because this scrub can't do it. People that seen him play through the season and the last few years know what you get from him. He's nothing but hustle but when givin to many mins he's a straght bum. He's ok when he plays 10 mins a night anymore and it gets ugly.

Personally, not sure. However, 2K advertised adjusting players on a semi-daily basis dependent on their play.

So I guess he deserves an upgrade.

BTW, have there been any since the playoffs started??

Re: Does Matthew Dellavedova Needs His OVR Ratings Bumped Up?

Let's not get carried away. A slight increase in his defense and hustle stats would be good(or maybe just a badge for hustle or something like that). His overall should stay the same, 72 is fair.

Yes lets not get carried away, he's a backup PG who is in way over his head. Give him the scrapper badge silver and move on. He's no lockdown defender lol

Re: Does Matthew Dellavedova Needs His OVR Ratings Bumped Up?

Delly had 2 or 3 good games. I've seen every single second of the Cavs playoff run, and besides those two solid games, he's mostly been a liability. But people see the guy "trying hard" and overrate him.

35.3% FG and 31.6% 3PT in the Playoffs. 7.5 ppg and 2.7 apg with 1.7 TO/gm.

The fact is he's shot 9% lower from 3PT in the Playoffs while his assist-to-turnover ratio has been cut in half from 3-to-1 to 1.5-to-1.

This guy doesn't need much of a boost except maybe on his defensive ratings. And the Emerald card they gave him in MyTeam is a joke.

DakkoN 06-15-2015 01:06 PM

Re: Does Matthew Dellavedova Needs His OVR Ratings Bumped Up?

Bringing up his assist:turnover ratio is pretty redundant, considering most of his passes go to LeBron who holds the ball for 10 seconds before making a move, eliminating any chance of an assist.
