Intro
I'm going to be trying something new, so I made the title of this a little vague as I don't 100% know what direction this will go in the future. I'm new to these parts of the forums, however I'm very active on the NBA side of things. If you want to see a example, I'll share a link below. I've still got a week or so of prep work to do before I get started mostly unlocking current legends.

Posting Style
I like to keep the things I post simple with pics. I'll do some articles which i try to keep within a paragraph or two so it's not too much reading is needed. Plus, I don't have the best grammar/typing skills in the world. I'm not sure how the pics will work in 2k so may not do any in game photos. Posting the results from matchups each week should be a very easy and straight forward approach.

GM Mode
The first mode I'm going to try out and hopefully it will be the one I do all of them on is gm mode. I've not tested it out yet so I'll be doing that over the weekend. It should make for a natural series as competition against the other brand will give it a goal instead of just who wins matches. I plan on doing the full year however may start with a small 15 week one to start just to test things out.

Era
I will be using players from WWF/WWE that competed in like 1985 to 1987. So this is roughly WrestleMania 1 to 3. I'm hoping I can use other created wrestlers from WCW for the other brand. I have heard to many CAW will cause bugs so I'll have to test that out. From what I know you can't control who the other side picks so some of the guys I want could end up on the other team. I also need to find out how many wrestlers you need I have a feeling I'll want to get to many in

Thanks man I’m very excited to try it as I’ll be winding down my NBA coverage in a few weeks. I’ve not bought a wrestling game since 16 and I’m Loving the CAW and gameplay seems not complicated a plus for me.

When I go into something I’m typically all in so that’s the plan with this as well. Atleast for the time being so I Like to update Monday-Friday while Killing time at work. I was born in 82 so this time frame is prime nostalgia for me.

Some of the CAW are locked behind legends I’ve not unlocked so hopefully that will not take to long. Any tips on earning VC fast ?

Absolutely honest with you. I get the season pass every year. Unlocking everything is so worth it off the bat.

Finances and such if you can't get the accelerator, grind. Legend difficulty and get those 5* matches. Royal Rumbles are easy. Start as #1 and continue to pick new people if you get eliminated.

I can afford the accelerator pack I'm just to cheap to buy it lol. I was playing on easy then bumped it up to normal and that helped me get 300-700 per match. So I only need about 4 people then I'll have the main ones I need. I'm not sure If I have the skills for legend difficulty, but I did better than I expected on normal, so I'll try that this weekend,

The tip of the rumble helped, and I now know how to switch over and not lose the points. I was able to get a good number of points doing the 10-man rumbles.

A unofficial update just to give a update on where things stand. Things are progressing well as I do prep work and I'm hooked on the game. I'm planning on starting this up Thursday maybe do the draft tomorrow night if I get a lot of stuff done tonight.

I want to do another test tonight atleast 25 weeks. Then I've got to add the render pictures which It looks like I can do after I start it up. If so, then I could save that part till the weekend.

The roster is basically done, and I'll update everyone on that later in this post. I thought it was 60 people max, however from a test it looks like its 60 people min. I've still got about 20 CAW slots so will prob get some more WCW guys from the mid 80's era. I didn't realize I could set CAW to "locals" so that's good to know as I've got some jobber types.

My biggest fear is this crashing because I have to many CAW. When I wrote up my roster i realized I had way to many people then I could realistically use. My salutation will be to remove guys that were around in the 87-91 years. That way I can use them for hopefully season 2. I might still put those guys in the roster file and maybe I snag some mid-season.
