CPU QB's do scramble now (PS5)!

I'm seeing them scramble quite often, even when it's just a play breaking down and it's not designed. This is on PS5. This is an amazing run right here by Mr Murray

Yeah I’ve had several different QBs take off at appropriate times. Even non scrambling QBs which is nice to see.

Yep, Jalen Hurts burned me on a last minute TD on 4th down to beat me on a 12 yard scramble. I thought oh here is an easy sack and win and then boom he just took off and D-Law couldn't catch him.

I did a franchise sim last night and Lamar ran for over 1200 yards on the season. So QB sim stats seem to be better as well, at least with Lamar and the ravens playbook. Didn't get to check stats of other mobile QBs.

They ran in 22 too, at least on next gen.
Do they still have the habit of overly cowardly slides, and throwing the ball away with open field in front of them though?

They need to learn how to slide. Wentz kept running against me and I kept hit sticking him head on with safeties. He fumbled 3 times. I've seen other QBs slide a little bit, but it needs to be more. Playing on Series X.

Yeah they ran in both 21 and 22

The problem isn't if they run it's if they will run with a purpose as you mentioned.

They slide for no reason at times even if they have 5 more yards of open space.

Hey real QBs sometimes do it, we see it every Sunday (esp Wentz like folks said, LOL). I think that vast majority of them do do like the poster above you said, which is always slide so you can't hit them.

I personally think it's great that sometimes you are able to get a hat on them...if not then people would really get angry if it was always sliding because that's not how real football is..

It sucks to have to do this, but I’ve just learned to not hit stick QBs lol.

I hit stick them all the time and they don't fumble. Maybe the game just hates me, LOL. It WAS a problem in the beta though with always fumbling. I haven't seen that yet on PS5 though when I hitstick QBs..

They do fumble sometimes but I think if anything the % I've experienced is too low and they should fumble a little more when hitstick'ed.
