Penalties, Finally?

Those with the game, have you seen any improvement to penalties on default settings? Has anyone maxed out penalties? Please share your experiences. I have only seen 1 legit roughing the kicker penalty in 2 games. not that cheap penalty where someone just bumps into the kicker in previous Maddens, this player wiped my kicker out and was rewarded with a personal foul

I am hardly seeing them. Doesn’t seem any better honestly.

Have played with default and maxed (minus RTP, Facemask, Clipping)

Seen hardly any penalties in play now games so far. Last gMe just 1 overall in 8 min qrt game.

I've seen RTP, DPI, FS, IT, and UR in two games at default.

I have penalties turned up to 99 on each except Roughing Passer and Illegal Block in Back and I don't see many penalties at all. Many 2-3 per game at the most out of about 5-6 games played.

No surprises here. They also haven't fixed the west coast game times. Annoying these small things keep getting overlooked. I just hope FUT is okay................

the lack of enough penalties is what holding me off from buying game. How a company such as ea will not fix what they broke is beyond me

I've actually been seeing plenty during my test games in franchise. I'm not sure if it's different in play now or not. But in franchise with everything at 65 expect PI I have at 90 and roughing default and block the back default.

I'm sure it's still not a realistic amount compared to the actual nfl numbers, but I do feel like it's a little better than years past.

Same here....I promised myself after last year, I will NEVER buy Madden again until it has basic, realistic football. I'd rather go without than deal with the frustration of not having a realistic experience when playing against CPU or watching a CPU vs CPU game.

1. Fix penalties, illegal contact is a thing....DPI is a thing....your penalty system, not a thing!

2. Fix the two minute drill / time out usage....Seriously? That's the best you can do after 30+ years of developing this game?

3. Fix FGs, stop kicking from places you should punt from....attempts from the 40+ yard line, not a thing unless it's the end of a half....please understand field position and basic football strategy, I mean this IS a FOOTBALL GAME, right? Seems like strategy would matter. You don't see guys in NBA 2K shooting from mid-court do you? So why are you kicking from there?

4. Fix punting in general, they don't kick balls from the 45 OB at the 25, maybe once a season, not twice a game....these guys are professional punters, they can aim.

5. Fix the passing game so the TE doesn't get 15 catches per game while D. Adams gets two balls thrown to him the whole game. If TE2 is getting more targets than WR1, then your game is broken.

Uh, I could go on but said frustration is setting back in!

Please fix this! I'm a Lions fan....I need fake football to be good so my real football isn't so painful!

I play on 10 min quarters in my franchise I have offsides and holding sliders tuned to 99 and I hardly see any penalties still smh

Has anyone tried changing blocking to aggressive, or changing player traits to ‘undisciplined’? Would this help? Also, does playing pro, all-pro or all-madden make a difference?

It’s been like this for years now. Don’t bother waiting, seriously doubt they’re ever going to fox penalties

This is not true AT ALL. Go back and play M20 and anything before. There are plenty of penalties. The lack of penalties started with a patch to M21 around November. That patched nerfed penalties and they've never came back.
