After roughly twenty years, it looks like a wrestling game with a fighting system reminiscent of Wrestemania 2000 and No Mercy has entered the building. Unless there is a title I missed.

I haven't purchased a wrestling game since WCW vs NWO Revenge. That might change with this game seeing that they are retaining those ole classic mechanics.

This isn’t a game for anyone that is going to get sulky about the roster. There will be AEW current talent on TV that doesn’t make it. That’s fine. In the wrestling community there has always been this toxic element that ““so and so” left 3 months ago and “so and so” joined 4 months ago. They need to remove anyone that left and added all that joined.” This has never ever happened in any wrestling game. I’ve never understood people that actively want people removed from games. Lunacy.

We know Owen Hart and Sting are in that’s not a bad start. Jericho and CM punk too. We know most the big AEW names will be in. We know they’ve promised “legends” - which leads me to think it’ll be a robust roster. I think these days people will be disappointed with anything under 70 wrestlers. I don’t know where to have my expectations on size of roster.

I think if game play is good and creation and some sort of wrestler share exists. This game could be the best one we have had in generations.

Looks amazing and I am so over the WWE game issues and lack of creation we still see today. Could this be a game changer. Can we get customize abilities like those in Fire Pro Wrestling? Maybe and if so it wil be off the chart. I play fire pro more then any game due to being able to create any wrestler with all their actual moves and even entrace music. I hope AEW can provide that. Looking good

My older brother still has his original GameCube and copy of Day of Reckoning. He was playing it the other week since the Switch doesn't have many options for pro wrestling games.

I haven't played a wrestling game in probably over 10 years. But this one looks fun. Before they mentioned it, it reminded me of the old 64 wrestling games.
