How to start a Texans rebuild by completely dismantling the team??

So I want to start a Texans rebuild where I basically either release or trade away any player that’s >70. If I trade them would it be fair to just get a bunch of draft picks for them?

Or is releasing them and resigning a bunch of terrible players the better route?

Also I’ll be relocating the team after the first season too using Playmakers sliders.

Best bet is to do it prior to starting your franchise. If you try to do it in franchise, you are going to have cap penalties out the rear.

Just straight release them from the front end roster control, save roster, then start a franchise using active roster

You could also Edit every player's contract so that they're in the last year of their deal. Don't re-sign any of them (obviously) and you're free to re-shape the team however you want. That's the easiest way to do so without making major complications to the cap.

If you trade everyone you'll be able to abuse the AI and obtain a massive load of draft picks.
