    3 Second Violation

I don't really understand this rule. I play as player lock, and get called for it often, I know most the time its me not thinking

But if a opponent player is in the paint for 3 seconds, why can't I be there wtih him. I find this often, just guarding a guy and not thinking aboout it, cuz I am staying with him. Whistle...me...3 second Offender does not

Then I go to offense, and stayed there and got called for it. The defender did not. This seems like a flaw in the program, as identical situations, offense and defense, and only I get called for 3 second

Why can he stay there 3 seconds and I cannot? I don't get it.

From MY experience, it's a coding thing with the game.

As the user (I player-lock also and to me that's the MOST fun this game has to offer lol) I always have to remember 1... 2.... get both feet outside the paint then go back in. 1.... 2.... rinse and repeat.

I HAVE gotten the CPU called for it, but it's so few and far between especially when considering how frequent the User is called for it.

Yes I love the lock too, I am Klay Thompson
I figured it was a bug, but since many rules in BB confuse me lol, I wasn't sure. I get called constantly, have never seen the cpu get called!

You should not be getting called when guarding an offensive player, i think its a bug so best is to report it

Honestly, I believe the game is programmed to become lenient on the rule once a shooting motion is triggered. Basically, if you simply stand in the paint, it'll be called properly, but once you trigger shooting animations, it basically resets. Reason being, if the rule was absolute, it would trigger non-stop violations due to animation sequences being too long.
