Which version is better for legacy - Xbox360 or PS3?

Hello! After finally ordering 2k8 for PS3 (70 bucks... insane but apparently not bad), i was digging through old 360 cases and found my copy for that system as well. Disc had some damage but everything installed and played fine!


Here is my question: As I plan to immerse myself in a 40 year start-from-scratch journey, I figured I should find out which version is seen as better. I do not run the PS3 emulator, for what its worth.


my thought is the 360 will process the game quicker, however theres a catch: the most recent roster is circa January '21 (or i could use one of the incredible alumni rosters i found here and start a legacy that way)... the PS3 emulation community has made finding those rosters much easier.



any advice is welcome!

update: the ps3 version (my ps3 vs my xbox360 anyway) looks a little worse and definitely processes slower.


but the updated rosters (and fact that i immediately found a profile with all the unlockables) mean i'm going to do PS3.

Yeah there aren't any accurate updated rosters for the 360, but there is for the PS3. I slightly prefer playing on the 360 but if a big draw is using updated rosters, I 100% would go with the PS3. Outside of that, I feel like it's personal preference more or less.
