Hopefully that's what today's update is. Based on what they did last time the update won't come until next week though. Their week 10 update released right before week 11 started. Hopefully it's today though. This is the time of year I get most into the game with draft season coming up.

It seems there will actually be two: a week 17 one which is apparently already out or will shortly be, and a Wild Card update coming soon.


That MAY be great because it MAY allow you to pick week 17 if you need to avoid a player retiring. By choosing 17 you may be able reduce their age before the retirement decision is made in-game. We'll see on that...


Regardless, it does seem like there will be two more Play Now updates.

Ugh.


Truth is it was a dumb idea in the first place. Because getting stats up to week 17 AFTER week 17 requires a bit extra work. Should have knocked it out then.

I gave up on this and started a new franchise. Found this dude in the draft and simmed all of 2022 to get him.

I was about to start a Franchise with the Patriots last week and when I saw only Week 10 was available, I realized they were going to release a Wild Card update. Then I saw that yesterday's update was for Week 17. As tempted as I am, I don't want my Pats in the playoffs so I'll hold off another week until we get the Wild Card update before jumping in. Time to find a Mac Jones replacement!!!

You could always just edit the weekly schedule so all the actual winners won. I usually do that when the update doesn't start at the playoffs.

What week did you start from?

I just went from the preseason. All the play now starts have locked in draft classes... like the wk 10 one has that insane WR everyone drafted when it came out. Wanted something fresh with a randomized class. I'll do this one for a bit and then grab one of the live ones when i get tired of this one. Or whenever EA decides to delete this one.

Yea except for the ties and trying to get the records accurate. We can force a win or a loss, be great if they added the option to tie. If it aint 100% accurate i cant do it its pointless

But there haven't been ties since week 17, unless you count the Bills and Bengals. That one might be tricky to get the same seeding, because the Bills beat the Chiefs. But otherwise it will be pretty close.

Thats true. Youd have to give the bills the win so they were the higher seed than it should work out

I still dont see week 17 though still only has 10. Did they put it out yet and im missing something?
