Serious question - new Football fan

I was NOT a Soccer/Football fan until I watched Welcome to Wrexham. NOW - I want to learn more and more.

I'm thinking of getting a used FIFA game just to check it out - for a person that knows very little except the basics - will I be Gob smacked (is that the right term? LOL) and it will be meaningless? I'm more into watching then being a thumb jockey.

Comments Opinions? Best games to learn the game?

I think FIFA 23 is a fantastic game to learn and play. My 9 year old is playing it right now, with Training Centre turned on, and it's helping him learn the buttons. He plays soccer himself competitively, so he understands what the game should look like, but he's already crushing the AI vs Professional. You're not going to be gobsmacked.

I think you'd be more than fine getting FIFA 23 and going through some of the training stuff.

That said, if you want to get a used FIFA game, just get any of them really. FIFA 22 was also a fine game and I think you'll enjoy it. FIFA 23 also is just about to hit EA Play / Xbox Gamepass on the 16th.

I was thinking of like a $5 FIFI 21 or something. Has there been any huge upgrades in the last 3 years that a guy that has never played the game would notice

IS there a CPU vs. CPU mode? And what Leagues does FIFA include ?
