Lots of people steal rosters, but why do people post it over and over again under the same exact name? Has anyone noticed this? It's weird. Is there anyway to block certain PSN names that have stolen from me? If not I plan on making a list.

WBC I feel for you and hear you loud and clear. Someone posted my UPDATED college roster THE SAME day I uploaded mine.
He didn't even have the smarts to RENAME it.

The funny thing is (well first of AlI, I don't care how many downloads I get as of long as people are enjoying it).

We see it a lot with our stuff too. Many of them appear to be reuploads for backup purposes. Some though are labeled as a full project. Is what it is.Comment

I totally understand what you are going through guys believe me it sucks.
Many years ago I got my first bloody nose.
A guy that for many years has been renowned as number 1 creator of players was on a different website and People were given him accolades telling him he was the best creator and he said he put a lot of blood sweat and tears into it. He couldn't even use his own phrase. That was my words, my Created players back then it was about four hundred players I'm retired and put in a full day's work from 9 a m to about 11:30p m for love of game.
And the impostor created all my four hundred players with just pushing one button what a genius.
Anyway I Go by the name of scooter3 also known as BigKlu_18_ on the vault.
My new renditions are on the vault for The Show 20. January 5th is when they close the vault.

Thank you for this thread. I actually googled this topic 2 days ago and kind of saw it discussed on Reddit, but it wasn't really what the OP was saying....plus it was Reddit (I prefer the more refined OS).
I see what Bonny is saying and I don't/wouldn't have an issue with that. I skipped the PS4 generation and was used to putting all of my PS3 SAVE DATA on a USB drive. I haven't looked into that on the PS5. I did extensive roster work for NBA 2K23 and I'm paranoid that I will lose it (like Lizzo coming over and tripping and falling on it or something).
But as far as the subject of this thread, if it's not for saving/backup purposes, then I kinda do take issue with it--especially if you do not make any edits to it. This is what I mean: I uploaded a player to the vault, and I do believe he is different appearance/equipment/motions wise than all the other ones....yet it's been uploaded by I think 3 other people which does make me feel some type of way. But the reason is because I downloaded 2 of them and they are the exact same as mine. I actually wouldn't mind it at all if you made a change or two to my player, but you uploaded the exact same thing? Idk man.

I totally do this for stadiums that I am going to change a bit for my league, or that I am going to replace as part of my 30 but still want to be able to access for later. I'm not trying to take credit for anyone's work - I'm just trying to get around in-game limitations regarding files. I'd do it for rosters too should the need arise.
If anybody is actually out there taking credit for anything they didn't create, shame on them.Comment

Sony needs to give the ''Vault'' another name. Vault implies security contained therein, but there's no way I'd upload anything there, to what amounts to a public domain location. ''Vault'' my ****.Talk about things nobody cares.

If anyone were to jack our stuff and take credit, we would just make fun of them on here and trash them on socials. lol I don't ever see it happen though.
If you do use other creators stuff to build upon, try and give credit when you can. It's good for the community.Comment
